My original review seems to have been removed, Ill also post on yelp: I usually have wonderful and QUICK experiences at EWC, however today was the WORST! My wax specialist today was Demetria. Several issues with my wax today. One she had NO bedside manner. Usually the wax specialists are talkative to help pass time and to make their client more comfortable. She was NOT friendly. The main issue of the wax was her lack of skill. She would lay a strip and less than a minute she was tugging away at it. It took several tugs for her to remove the hair. She DID NOT put pressure on the area after she pulled. EVERY wax specialist I had in the past could remove these bad puppies in 3 pulls and they put pressure on the area to reduce the pain. Not only that they would lay a strip then lay one more or two and revisit the first strip and remove it. I couldnt complete the wax it was too painful. She told me to trim and return. She said that it was painful because Im pregnant. This is my third pregnancy and Ive gotten waxes throughout my pregnancies and they wax specialist were skilled enough to remove the hair. When we walk to the receptionist she blurted out loud and annoyed, She couldnt complete the wax it was too painful, while making gestures with her hand. I was ashamed and embarrassed. I suggest the center retrains Demetria on how to properly and efficiently perform a wax and talk to her about her friendliness and professionalism.When I went back for my follow up I saw Kimberly, THANK GOD! She was quick, knowledgeable, and efficient!. Shell be the wax specialist I see regularly from now on.

2 visits down and both have been great experiences. Devon she is a master waxer lol she is awesome also Trish who made my first time a smooth visit. Side note their after care products are pretty good as well.

Great first experience! The reception was super informative in helping me book my appointment. The facility was clean and Adriana was amazing! I didnt feel much pain and Adriana kept asking me if I was okay, which I appreciated. I already booked my 2nd appointment, Im so happy my friend recommended this place to me. The waxing procedure is much cleaner too, they are able to pull the wax right off, rather than use any strips of fabric like other places.

Crystal is very rude, unprofessional and she dosent use common sense. I arrived early but unfortunately they did not advertise well with new COVID19 guidance of no kids allowed. As I asked questions she proceeded to talk over me and say I would need to reschedule and she would be waiting for my call then closed the door. I called and she said she had reserved a 7:30 so I said I would take it then she went to book it and said it was taken already. I arranged for someone to watch my kid and checked in but unfortunately she didnt get the virtual check in until after their 9 min policy so she said I was a no show.

Had good experiences here. But last time it was Super painful. When I said I didnt want to be paired with that girl again they just looked at me like I was crazy. They just wanted me to shut up so other customers would not hear me. They said they would have somebody call me but of course no one did. Absolutely no responsibilities whatsoever on their behalf and instead made me feel like I was the one out of line for being in pain

Everyone is nice yeah yeah yeah however I went in for a Brazilian and yes its been a while but Dulce left so much hair behind. She left me on the table, mid wax to tell the front she would need a little more time with me but didnt even complete the job. I have small random patches of hair left behind and it does not make me feel good. If anyone is reading this I suggest you go to the Pretty Kitty. Yes the closet location is in Costa Mesa but its worth it and they dont leave hair behind.

You dont have to wait for hrs to get manicured for your body essentials. They take appointments and they take walkins. The people who work here are trained, professional and love what they do. The salon has a lot of natural light and enough seating while you wait for your service. All waxing services are available.

Yumna is the best! The staff are always friendly and super helpful. They have great discounts, this location is super clean with a great atmosphere. Their products are also wonderful and they dont try too hard on the upsell.

I really like going here every six weeks. They are quick and efficient. I just took away a star because I hate how much they try to push wax packages on you, and even the merchandise here. Too pushy. Other than that, this place is great.

Tami was awesome and unfortunately, for my regular aesthetician, Ive moved on. Brazilians are never painLESS, but it was LESS uncomfortable. My next appointment has been scheduled!

Love this place! So happy that I have become a regular. Dont be more than 10 minutes late for your appointment because they will cancel you!! I had to learn the hard way. However,the receptionist suggested I wait to see if they had any cancellations. Luckily for me,the lady I had scheduled with changed her break time just for me and I was able to get waxed!

I am so happy I found this place. Super flexible appointments and they were open late on a Friday night. If you are looking for a waxer, I have seen a few of the staff and they are all great. My favorite waxer is Stephanie. She is so thorough and professional. She has very few openings because she is in high demand. I am always so excited when I get an appointment with her.I will be coming for waxes like clock work. The more frequent you come the easier it gets!

Jazmine is wonderful, sweet and professional! I would give a 5 star if it wasnt for the fact of the Assistant Manager Kathy who was there. She needs to learn customer service skills from her staff, rude! Charmaine who was also at the desk was more polite, attentive and more happy then she was. They were a little busy with clients in house and phones ringing after observing Charmaine she handled her self like a gem. I will return to see Jazmine I hope the Assistant manager chills out!

I came to get my eyebrows done... Not until I got home did I start to notice extreme peeling and I dont have sensitive skin. I called to let them know they wanted me to come back free of charge to a more experienced waxer. So I did. Right before she was going to put the wax on my face she asked me. Are you by chance allergic to bees??? Uhhhh YESSS!!! She responds well thats why you broke out ... This is 100% BeesWax. Never did the first woman tell me or ask me of allergies. And this woman had already laid me down and was about to expose me to it again without warning. Beware if you are allergic to bees.
