Richard at the Manhattan Beach AT&T store was the most helpful rep I have ever experienced. Not only did he help me greatly with my iPhone upgrade but he helped me save money on my monthly wireless bill and my Direct Tv bill. He is smart, no nonsense and knows the products. And he texted me the next day to help me with additional needs. The guy makes a usually painful process easy.

This store is your best friend. Go here. Ricky (god I hope I am remembering his name right) was a magic worker. If you are adding lines, switching lines, switching phones, whatever don’t bother with calling at&t yourself. The phone support are selfish and do not care about the customer the way the staff at this store do.My wife had to port her number back to my AT&T account from Verizon. After 45 minutes on the phone with AT&T and we’re told that my wife would not have a phone for two days. While we are traveling with an 8months old son for the first time. So she wouldn’t have a phone for 11 days. We go into the store and they were able to unravel the cluster that phone support did and got my wife a functioning phone within the hour. Not within days! Thank you.

2x I have been here to do pretty basic things (buy iPhone) (add line / SIM card) - both times unfortunately I was told these things just could not be done!Would not help me find a solution rather managed to tell me all the reasons I could not get it done.Long waits and unable to actually get stuff done despite being a good long term customer = bad customer experience.

COVID safe and friendly staff! My husband and I have always come to this location because of the customer service.EDIT: I originally gave 5 stars but I am putting it down to one because we were lied to about being able to trade our phones in and the manager at this store did not come and speak with my husband directly to help solve an issue.My husband went into this store a week before because his phone cracked and he wasnt sure if he wanted to upgrade or if we should just take it somewhere to fix the phone. The person who was helping us did not say if there would be any issues trading the phone in and that it would be no problem getting the $350 credit. She was with my husband for almost an hour and had plenty of time to tell us that his screen was not able to get traded in. They dont transfer phone information at the store anymore so she told us to take our phones homes to properly transfer our phones over to the new phones we got. She said we have 30 days to bring in the phones to get the $350 credit towards our new phones.My husband went back yesterday to trade in the phones and the person who helped him told him he could not trade in his phone because of the cracks. We are upset because there was no accountability to their word. They kept saying excuses of why the original person who helped us never makes mistakes and has worked there a long time. THAT IS NOT THE POINT, we are all human people make mistakes. The fact that there was no acknowledgement that maybe that person made a mistake and trying to say we were mistaken and we must be lying is not very good customer service. The manager at no point came out to explain the situation but told her/his(?) employee to call the 611 number. We wasted so much time and energy because of this issue. We have been loyal customers for so long and never had an issue with this store before but I find it absurd that we spend all this money and people are not accountable.

Came to this store because we originally stopped at the location on Rosecrans which was horrible as we waited 30 minutes before walking out as no one even stopped once to greet us.That was all redeemed when we came here as we were greeted right away by the security guard who was very pleasant & friendly. We immediately came inside & were introduced to Grace who was very friendly & eager to help.Grace has impeccable customer service skills & helped us get the best possible deal on our new iPhone 12’s. She was very knowledgeable, very upfront & extremely professional which we appreciated.The store was very clean which is also appreciated especially during covid.The entire staff was friendly. This place is always understaffed. Advice and help is kind but often wrong or unhelpful. I can only deal with my problem in store and every time I go I expect an hour wait at best.They say they are under staffed but pretty confident there’s enough people looking for work they could find someone.Enough to make me want to switch.

I got here since it opened for the day, told them i just wanted to buy a phone case. Had a case picked out in like 5, max 10 minutes, and 20 minutes later, still waiting to check out. They only left one girl out on the floor who already seemed to have a bad attitude with the guy she was helping out. Im waiting for my car to get serviced next door so all i have is time to kill, but if anyone just wanted to do a quick transaction or if only 2 people at a time wanted to come in to get help at this time, it would be impossible. Im writing this while Im here so Im still waiting and who knows for how much longer. 🙃

Really great experience all around. From the person checking us in to the AT&T rep, everyone was so friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate how upfront the person who helped me upgrade my phone was. Because of her I actually have a better plan that costs less.

I consistently have had nothing but positive experiences at this location. Each employee I’ve ever dealt with has been a joy to work with. Everyone had great attitudes and set me up for success with whatever request I had. Whether it was adding international service to my plan for a trip or switching to a different plan, they made it easy and fun. For whatever it’s worth to whomever needs this info, this location is great.

I’m a bit disappointed. I usually come to this location specifically because it’s an AT&T company store. I brought my Mom to simply get a new iPhone and somehow got talked into trying out the new AT&T tv service. We also got talked into switching over to Business wifi To “save” money even though my mom specifically said they have DirectTV for specific channels that AT&T tv doesn’t provide. Long story short, we were not happy with AT&T tv as it is streaming and doesn’t work well for my parents lifestyle. Thankfully to the man that came to install the business wifi, gave my mom all the information re: wifi and the impact of switching to that service which is not what was promised to us at the store. Overall, upset that they took an opportunity to make a sale and tick off they sold an AT&T tv and to switch us to a new wifi service that wasn’t at all what they said it would be. I work in retail and it doesn’t feel good to be sold to, to then later see all the issues behind what was initially communicated. Do better please.

From the second that I walked in I was greeted by this wonderful girl named Grace. She was super helpful from A-Z and knowledgeable. She helped me get a really good deal. Hey this guy Justin here was an exceptional young man, helped us get our new phones going and explained everything to us.Best customer care service I’ve gotten in a long long time.

My Visit at this At&t store was nothing less than amazing and a breeze. Emily S was the young lady that assisted me, she was not only extremely nice and welcoming when she approached me. But she was accurate on my needs and what i was coming into the store for. She as well assisted me on getting a screen protector and phone protector and advised me on my warranty and on how to go about registering it for my warranty. She was very thorough with her explanations and overall knowledge on all 3 products i purchased. She went above and beyond to offer to install my screen protector and phone case as well for me. Once i walked out the store I was ready to just turn my phone on and use it. I left the store extremely satisfied.

My bill came the next month for almost $800 after he told me it would be cheaper than my original bill ($300). I recommend just calling 611. The store promises a lot of false things that even 611 doesn’t know what they are talking about.

I came in to do a simple purchase of a case and was blown away by the overall store cleanliness and service, given these tough times.The representative Amador did an awesome job of assisting me and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Because of some bill details he pointed out i was able to add a few things on to my service and walked away extremely happy!keep it up!

This is the worst store ever! We kept making the mistake of returning since local but no more. Just yesterday ordered a new $1,400 phone needing for work/vacation trip this weekend. Later received confirmation of wrong color being shipped which I specifically didn’t want. Since it’s shipped there’s nothing they will do. Past DirecTV, U-Verse, Internet, iPads & iPhones have all been screwed up and ripped off. Promised promotions that we never received and more!

I’ve been having an issue for awhile and support recommended that Go into an AT&T store to swap out the SIM card.I called A store to see how they were providing service during this time and the Associate was really nice and said to just pull up in front of the store and call the number in the sign.When I arrived I did that, another very nice associate answered and said they’d be right with me. At that same time, a guard who was monitoring the door came out just to check to make sure I’d contacted someone (extra effort to make sure I’d called - nice). Within another 2-3 minutes a tech came out with full mask and gloves, I told him why I was there, he went in and came right back out with my SIM card and swapped them out.I was really impressed that he said if this didn’t solve the problem I should bring it back and they would try to arrange a warranty exchange since I’d been dealing with this problem for awhile.All in all an outstanding customer service experience and I honestly am terrible about writing reviews either good or bad. But they were so efficient, well-organized and being very safe, I had to pass that along!

Emmanuel Saldana attended me when I went to upgrade my iPhone but without asking he added the protection package 1 to my device. He never asked me nor mentioned it at all. It was until a few days after I received an email stating that I had enrolled for the insurance. These type of things should be explained and not forced upon the client. I went in back to speak with him and theres was no apology. I explained that he shouldn’t work that way and it seemed as if he got a little bothered that I told him the truth. He tried to brush me off but I told him what I had to. I called at&t directly and explained what happen. They said the insurance cannot be added on automatically and has to be done by the sales rep. Emmanuel told me it gets added on automatically (not true). Maybe he gets a commission out of adding phone insurance to a customer but the way he did it was wrong.

Emmanuel was great! He helped me save money on my plan and explained everything very well. I am coming back to this store just because of him. Promote this guy already!
