The staff at The Comic Bug is friendly and welcoming, and the store has a great layout. Theyve got all the comics and collectibles Im looking for, and they have a pull list service, which is great for people who cant get to the store every week. I highly recommend checking them out.

What can I say except its an absolutely glorious local comic book/collectors shop with an absolutely amazing staff that are genuine and always happy to see us. My sons are avid collectors of Pokemon cards and during the Pandemic, when the cards proved extremely difficult to find, they always had a healthy stock with a wide variety of series and single cards that can buy, to reduce the gambling aspect when buying cards for your kids. Their collectible action figure section is so well organized (in fact the whole store is), but what really makes it a unique experience is their fresh and overall on fire selection. There are a lot of collectible toys out there, but they consistently seem to bring in an overwhelmingly awesome amount of good inventory, some of the best Ive ever seen, and at very reasonable prices. The staff quickly came to recognize us and greet us personally every time we visit, and they acknowledge and express their appreciation for our support of their store. 5 Stars, No Sweat.

I went to comic bug for the 1st time Aug. 14th. 2021 for the Lou Ferrigno signing.I had Lou sign an Acrylic painting i painted of the TV Hulk, well my version of him.I was impressed with the size of the shop and the large variety of comics and related.I would like to have seen a larger variety of silverage comics dissplayed 4 sale.Ill definitely return to this shop and look foreward to future signings.

Havent bought from there but i tried selling my items and they came up with 30 dollars on 70+comics and 100+ which they hadnt even looked at because they dont buy marvel or dc cards. Someone offered me 175 for the whole lot. I added the original prices together and it was way more than 30🤷not even a dollar a comic. Waste of time

Great store, well managed, perfect selection of mainstream, small batch and classic toys, games and of course, comics. I always come in to browse and end up leaving with a fat stack of amazing comics.

Great place, it was our first time shopping there and we came in about 10 mins before closing but they stayed open for an extra 50 minutes to let us shop. Super friendly with a great selection of current releases and back issues.

100% customer service from Eddie, waited for us to arrive and hand delivered our items. He was able to recommend add on times that we didnt know we needed. Isnt that always the case LOL. Such a great spot thats been there for decades. Great spot for all your comic & card gaming needs. Reasonable prices and unique finds. They had funky pop figures, and a few hard to find comic con finds. Heard they sometimes buy unique comic finds too. Ill be back for sure.

Full disclosure, my visit to The Comic Bug was because it was host to the 12 Sided Die web series premiere. It is SO cool that they host events like that! Prior to the screening (which I didnt partake in) they had a couple hours of playing D&D with the cast! Such a fun thing! The owner and employees were wonderful hosts and SUPER friendly, inviting and enthusiastic! The shop itself is packed with comics, toys and games! It is very clean and inviting. There is a whole separate room where folks were playing games all night!If youre into comics or D&D type games, it seems like there is an awesome community happening here! Check them out!

The Comic Bug is a trove. The books are so beautifully displayed. You walk around the square tables, covered and lined with brightly colored spines.Fingers extended, you float around and around, stroking book covers and reading staff reviews.Do not go in here if you dont intend to buy anything.You just cant say no.If you are a teacher, you get 10% off.

Great store. Friendly people. A lot of nights there are artists or writers there for signings. Wednesday nights are pandemonium but in a lively awesome way.This store more makes me feel welcome. Theres a great inclusive community there that seems to support the store as much as the store supports the community.

Best comic shop in LA. These guys love comics and it shows when you walk in. Unlike other shops, its full of light and energy. People are there not to just read comics but to have fun as well. Great selection of comics. I managed to find some back issues which I had always wanted to. The store owner was extremely warm and friendly. Prices offered were competitive. Most importantly, there was also a board game shop next to it. Killing two birds with one stone! Will definitely visit the store again.

One of the best Comic Shops in the LA area, and my TOP spot in the Southbay. Always friendly, knowledgeable, and generous staff. Great weekly release selections. Solid assortment of back issues with reasonable prices. They regularly make collection purchases that yield offerings of KEY books and great discount bin selections that are often in high grades. Pull service brings bonus discounts and rewards. And they regularly host fun events/cool opportunities throughout the year. They genuinely make a constant effort to treat their customers to a great experience.

This is a good family friendly comic book shop. They have all the major comics and indies. What I like best about this place is all the variant covers are displayed on a shelf on top of all the regular covers. They have good sales from time to time. Definitely worth checking out.

The Overland location is the epitome of a great neighborhood comics shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that welcomes readers of all ages. A fun hang where you can go to talk about the latest releases or whats in the theaters. You can buy long boxes here for your collection! They support indie creators and YES they have Cathair Apocalypse!

I called to put a few new release comics on hold for my husband. The women I spoke to said they had lots of copies left and that she’d put what I wanted on hold for a few days for me. I said I’d be in that Sunday for them. My husband was nervous because it was a popular release and sold out at other stores so we ended up going in that day and good thing we did! Not only had they not pulled the comic but one of them was the last copy in the store! Not good customer service to say you’ll put something on hold and then not follow through!

If you need anything comic related, this is the place. The staff is very knowledgeable and the store is bright, open and quite large. They have comics ranging from $1 to several hundred dollars and everything else for the comic aficionado. From child to adult this place is great!

Great shop! Mike Wellman knows the comic book world inside and out. Employees at both locations (the other in Culver City) are friendly and super helpful! Now if I could only figure out a way to have more money to spend Id be there everyday!

I was in the area and decided to drop by. Good selection of back issues and was running a 50% off sale. Also a 25 CENT comic section that allowed me to read books that I wanted to buy but exceeded my monthly comic budget. Friendly employees with NO attitude unlike other comic places I have experienced. Planning to return with full comic want list in near future.
