This is the best game store Ive ever been to. Plenty of table space for miniatures (Warhammer, Star Wars x-wing, etc), TCGs (MTG, Pokémon, etc), RPGs, and board games. Very inviting atmosphere. Very clean. Definitely see why they are a top MTG store.

Goblin Games is amazing! I can easily spend hours in this game store. The staff was friendly and they had plenty of dice that I wanted to add to my ever-growing hoard!

Make no mistake, The Folks running Goblin Games are great at how they run the operation. My complaints are few and situational. Ive kind of turned slowly into a medium level wargame enthusiast, and they really dont carry those, as theyre definitely slow to sell. Ive always felt like the Magic scene has more of a welcome, and if you dont play, gaming tables can be sparse, and I just feel like Im intruding on their tourney nights. The crew is knowledgeable, though one gentleman can be a little unnecessarily standoffish at times. Nonetheless, theres no denying the love they deserve in Manhattan.

Some pretty neat stuff, picked up a good quality Dungeons and Dragons gaming mat.Dice are a bit pricey in my opinion.

I absolutely love everything about Goblin Games! Their staff is fantastic and they take the time to get to know you and what/how you play/are interested in. My husband were looking for a local games store that sold Citadel Paints, with it being about an hour away we decided to take the plunge and go there. When we arrived we found out that they were currently renovating (our fault for not checking the website), but we called them up and they were BEYOND helpful. We knew what we wanted and they had everything in stock and they even expedited the order because we were there already. They walked the order to our car and even gave us a tote and some stickers with their logo on it. 10/10 customer service. All the paints were in good condition and were not dried out at all (weve had less success with other shops) Will definitely be coming more often and im excited to see when they open back up!

Great team at Goblin Games came to the rescue when GW sold out of indomitus boxes. I was able to order two from Goblin Games from their website and they were promptly shipped to me. Cant say enough good things about them. Give them a try, I promise you wont be disappointed.

Whether its card games, board games, or table top RPGs, you really cant do better than Goblin Games. You can walk in, knowing nothing about what youre trying to get into, and leave knowing everything you need to get started. Even if they dont have what you need, theyll point you in the right direction. You might find a store with better inventory, but youll never find one with better service. The prices are pretty good, too.

Still great, things have been moved due to covid, but their dnd section has gotten so much cooler. Just wish I had enough money go get ALL THE DICE, for I am a dice gobin, and I crave the click clack.

Great game store! Huge selection of games to choose from, including board games, figurines, and card games. Staff is always happy to answer questions and in a good mood.Store also has an entire shelf dedicated to demo games for people to play and/or try before they purchase. There is plenty of seating and tables throughout the store to try the games or bring your own and play with friends.

Great place with great vibes. Everyone is very welcoming. We tried a couple of board games out of the demo section and had a great time.

Variety of games, private game rooms that cant be used right now.

So part of my great rating is they had stock of a specific item I was looking for. It had become very hard to find so they get bonus points for having one.HOWEVER, they earned their 5 stars with their customer service. I found the item on their new webstore and called to check to make sure the stock was accurate. Not only did someone get to my call quickly they were super helpful in locating the stock and confirming they had a box to send it in (it was a big ol 20 pound beefer Super Star Destroyer for a table top game). They got all my questions answered and it shipped the following day. It showed up looking great and well packed.Full disclosure, cant speak to their actual storefront...Id like to stop by if I ever am in the area but I live up in MN. It was pure luck that they got their webstore up and I was able to get my item before other folks found them first. But theyre on my radar for future purchases and I flagged as a want to go in my Maps when Im ever in KS. The pictures of their store look great and Id recommend them on their customer service.

I dont visit enough to give the most detailed of reviews. That said, tbey always have what Im looking for. The best surprise was to find how neat, and extremely clean the restrooms are.

Pretty cool set up

Friendly staff, large tables in back for figure games, and friendly atmosphere. Some days it can get a little crowded at the game tables making for not much else but the event of the day happen but there is usually a little room at a table or two to do different games and things then whats going on. The available game selection in store is not big, about 8 rows of games, but if you ask they are more than happy to order it in and they also give a 10% discount if you order and pay in full right there and then rather than pay when it gets there. As a gamer that loves variety I wish it had more in store selection but overall I think that if your looking for a place to go and game with others and maybe pick up some cards or a new game this is definitely a good place to go.

Awesome gaming store! A large variety of games from table-top to strategy card games, as well as pen&paper RPGs. Fantastic and large open layout gives you room to breath and plenty of room to play. Very hospitable staff provides the icing on the cake to making this one of the best gaming hobby stores ive been to.

I have visited this establishment several times, and at both places they were set up. The first few times was when they were in the Mall, and more recently at the new shopping center area beside Little Ceasers and Marshalls. Each time was exactly the same, no one greeted me or my family as we walked in, each person at the counter was more focused on bad mouthing a customers cards that they were selling or lost in their own world talking about other things such as why they dont like certain game systems.My most recent visit just solidified the reason that I will not be going back there. I walked in asking about a game and some models that went with the game and the person at the counter looked at me like I was a burden and was completely clueless about the original question I asked. The other worker was obviously new and couldnt help me either. I was just blown off basically and made to feel as if I was interrupting them, which was not the case as I was the only customer in the store.To sum this all up, this store is more of a place to go and hang out if you play games that the staff are knowledgeable about. It is a very clickish atmosphere and staff does not seem very knowledgeable about 40k, and they do not have a very good selection of these items. It seems as if they have a few models only to appear as if there is an demographic that is welcome there. I would not recommend visiting, even for a small purchase.

New store in Westloop is awesome. Highly recommend for seasoned or occasional TCG, mini, board, or tabletop player. If youre looking for video games, sports, or other game type items this isnt the place.

The store is clean and doesnt smell like stale sweat and Chinese food (not as common as you might might think). Owners are friendly and attentive. For its size the store is well stocked. Also, they have a well attended board game evening, a big plus for me.

Knowledgeable staff that is very friendly. Facility is nice, clean and well organized. Selection is slightly limited but what they dont have in Stock they will order for you.

Tons of games and game nights. Its pretty fun to walk in if you are visiting the staff is nice, they keep to themselves. I like this a lot. I dont want to feel pressured into buying a game until Ive looked at it and looked into it to make sure it doesnt get played once and then pushed to the back of the closet. They also have paint if you like to paint your own figures. :)

Havent played anything here yet, however, when I stopped by the place was spacious, clean, organized, and smelled nice. As someone who frequents game stores, finding a good one is difficult. They have weekly magic tournament, d&d day, and boardgame day.

Chris is great. Very helpful and wonderful to my lil one who wanted cards. Owner is a joke. Blew me off like I wasnt worthy to be in the store.Selection not great either. Found more stuff at Books A Million

Let me start off by saying that this review is solely based on who I was told the Owner is and how he behaves with customers and MTG products. I recently moved to the area and was excited to check out the new LGSs around me and find a great community.My first visit to this store, about two months ago, went pretty okay. My friend who moved with me and I met the owner, which we didnt know was the owner at the time. The Owner answered most of our basic questions: Trade Policies, what they based prices off of, events, which format was popular, etc. That was until he learned that we werent really there to buy anything, it seemed. Once it was established that we werent looking to make a purchase, he started to shrug us off and talk to, who I assume, were regulars. It was a Saturday, so, it had a few other groups in the store. Okay, maybe he was just busy or having a bad day and didnt want to deal with us anymore, but the other person approaching the counter wasnt making a purchase either. Not the best interaction, but something that could be shrugged off and forgiven.My second visit was amazing! Again, my friend and I, along with others we brought who had never been to the store, made another visit. It was then that we met the sales person Chris. He was great and the owner should really take notes from Chris on how to properly treat customers. We explained we were new, which was a delight to Chris. He was happy we were there and readily pointed out anything we may need help with. We explained that we were prior competitive EDH players, which he responded to gleefully, showing us the fancy binder of shiny things and the EDH staples box and other things we might be interested in. We made a few decent purchases, nothing too big, but a couple hundred dollars worth, buying some new commander product, sleeves, a few singles and a couple other accessories. We left pretty satisfied with the service and our purchases thinking, Okay, the first time was just a fluke. We were wrong.The third visit is where we learned the guy from our first visit was the owner. We show up, and to our delight, Chris is behind the counter! He immediately remembers us, welcomes us back. This time we were here to make some major purchases because, after selling a good bit of our collections to fund our move across the country, we were ready to get back into competitive commander. We asked for one of each fetch land and few other key pieces to fill out our crazy combo decks. We were easily to over a thousand dollars in cards between our respective piles. So, we busted out our trade binders, to help lower the cost on our end, but were ready to spend some serious money. Cue the owner walking out of the stock room. He sees our piles and that we plan on making some trades. He takes over the sale from Chris. Chris explained to us that he is the owner and likes to conduct the big trades. Okay, understandable! Then it moved downhill from there.He started refusing cards we had pulled out, which is his right as the store owner and completely understandable. The ridiculous part was that he started scoffing at cards and rolling his eyes, rather than respectfully explain that the cards we wanted to trade in were too expensive and wouldnt move that fast at the store, which Chris later explained. The Owner then continued to mock what we brought into trade. My friend and I looked at each other and immediately started putting things back that we didnt need right away. Which brought more scrutiny from the owner, complaining that he now had to re-sort and put everything back. Disgruntled, we bought a few things that we needed right away and thought would be hard to find. Still, a little in over $200 in purchases. We left rather disgruntled.Our fourth visit was today. We came in, wanting to give one more chance, planning to make some major purchases. It was more of the same from the Owner and I only made my purchase today because it was a hard to find card and Id rather get it in person. I wish Chris the best during his tenure there, but I WILL NOT RETURN!
