Figured out how to fix multiple problems I had with my new computer and fixed them all within 24 hours, at a great price too! They were upfront with what the issues/solutions were when I asked. I am very happy with their service and will recommend them to my friends.

They did a great job. Funny story: they thought the battery they installed wasnt charging properly, so they kept it long after the repair was successful lol. Actually, my computer is set to not charge the battery past 70%. Because I never unplug it anyway. Anyways, loved the service!

LOVE MCR! I am a current college senior. I was unable to use my computer for the past 3 semesters. I was greeted immediately. I was talked to with much dignity and tact. Brought my laptop in as my hard drive was no longer showing up in my computer. They were very good about explaining me what was happening. After testing they determined that two of the sectors were bad and hard drive was no longer functioning. They recovered all my data off of my old hard drive (Music collection and all of my graduate research). Fast turn-around time and the most affordable place in town by far.

I believe this is a great place to bring your computer for repairs. My first two times going to Mankato Computer Repair they talked with me and looked over my computers and informed me that it would not be worth my time and money to have them repair them. The most recent time they did have to work on my computer and they basically gave me a new computer with the repairs they did. While they were fixing the computer they kept me informed and asked for my approval on each action they took. When informing me of cost, they did their best to give me accurate prices. I particularly appreciate their fast turn around and honesty. Just last week I brought in a lap top that I suspected had a virus. After running diagnostics on it Kevin determined that there was no virus and discussed what might be slowing it down. I appreciated that this was at no charge to me.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Professional from start to finish. I myself work in customer service and I have to tip my hat to these guys how calm and professional they remain when dealing with customers. Technology can be stressful, these guys do the best at explaining problems and providing all possible solutions. With most all things in live you get what you pay for, these guys took the time to provide me with the “quick fix” option which would solve my problem but not provide as good of results as the “right Way” to fix it. They broke it down for me, not to up sell me but to allow me to make an educated decision to best fit my personal needs. Would definately recomend.

I recently brought my laptop here after it crashed. I was very happy with the service. They were straightforward about the costs, gave me a few options, and got it fixed in a day and a half (it would have been a day, but my computer had weird settings to cope with.) When I picked my computer up, I paid what I was quoted, and I was shown what was fixed and given tips to prevent future mishaps. I have taken my computers to other places that took weeks and cost more. Mankato Computer Repair is friendly and FAST!!

Great service. As with most computer related things it is tough to know what the problem is immediately and if there are multiple issues contributing to the problem. They fixed most of it the first time and gladly took the computer back for a second session to thoroughly fix the issue.Price was also the cheapest in Mankato for the services I needed performed(PC tune up and virus removal)A+ Will use again for sure!

I had the folks at MCR replace a hard drive in an older iMac. They did so quickly, expertly, and even had a spare part I was missing. Also, they were much more reasonably priced than other local computer repair shops. This is definitely the place to go.

I had a bad experience with them to repair my hp laptop.I still have the same massege of fan is not working properly while i changed the fan there.. and the ram was working 50% and now its working 80% they told me to add another ram, thats unreasonable because the ram was good two days ago it should be some thing wrong in the windows system not in the ram.

Awesome staff, went out of their way to help me with rebate and returns with my manufacturer.

Unfortunately, I was very displeased with how the handled the whole situation with the repair. I broke the LCD screen to a MacBook Air laptop. Everything seemed fine upto when I came for pickup amd was given a beatup downgrade second hand piece that was literally scraped and dirty. Cracked at the bottom and better yet, a facecam that is missing the whole glass cover. You can literally stick your finger in it. All for the price of what? $485...no joke. I was in a hurry and from out of town so we negotiated to pay $384. So freaking angry. Never told me they replace with second hand pieces. Expected me to pay almost $500 for a Mac piece that they said was sent to Apple for a repair....so they instead gave it to me???Too bad I couldn’t have stayed longer because there would have been an issue. Don’t waste your time here they half ass and dont mind ripping you off🤷🏾‍♀️

Brought my HP laptop here multiple times, they do over charge. The first time for getting cleaned up. After bringing it back for my USB ports not working they fixed it, but a day later the touch scene went out. Brought it back multiple times and they still never could fixed it(at least 3 times). After the last time I got it back the Wi-Fi wouldnt work. Brought it to geek squad and they fixed all of the issues it took MCR 2 plus weeks to try. Plus upgraded ram for $30 cheaper at geek as well.

These guys actually know about computers rather than just troubleshooting and formatting. They helped me figure out what I was doing wrong right away and for a fair price considering I likely wont need to fix it again.

I would rate it no stars if I could. If you want your stuff back that you actually drop off don’t go here. Not professional at all, tried to give me back old dusty cords and somehow our brand new cords are just “gone” what a joke.

They mislead me about the price of replacing my Ipad 2 screen. Its not like it went up $20 or something, it went up three times in cost from $60 to $180. I called and asked to speak to a manager and his name was Wes. He was very rude and disrespectful given the situation. With stop lights every block it took me about 45 minutes round trip to drop off the Ipad 2 and get back to work. Rather than working with me and fixing the situation he told me to come pick the Ipad 2 up. I contacted Geeks right up the road who will do it for over $50 less. Dont use this place unless you dont mind paying $80 an hour and way over retail for parts. Mistakes happen, but this was just bad business delivered by them.
