For one, the receptionist was AWESOME! She made everyone there feel super comfortable! I just wanted to get a piercing, and my overall experience was pleasant! The guy who did it, he was also awesome! And it went super smooth! If I ever want to get another piercing, I will definitely go back there!!

I got my bellybutton pierced by Bryan two months ago. He seemed very confident, and assured me that it wouldn’t reject. Unfortunately, despite my consistent aftercare, my piercing was constantly unhappy and inflamed. I went to another shop today, and the piercer told me that it was pierced too close to the surface, and that it was slowly being rejected. He took it out for me. I’m disappointed. $60 piercing plus a nice $20 tip wasted. :-/ He did a great job piercing my boyfriend’s nose though!

Went there today to inquire about a tattoo, we spoke to a tattoo artist about the tattoo my girlfriend wanted. After small chat we agree to paid $60 deposit. On the way home I was talking to my girlfriend about the tattoo artist seem little nervous and I got the feeling she just starting tattooing. I advise her to call Sparrow tattoo company to see if we could get a more experienced tattoo artist. They said we had to pay $60 again for another deposit and the $60 we had already paid were not refundable. So pretty much we lost $60 in a 5 minute talk? This is ridiculous I’m sure she wouldn’t want to get a tattoo by someone who’s just starting. We weren’t asking for our money back, we just wanted someone more experienced. We have gotten piercings from them but will never go do any type of business with them anymore. They give you an iPad to pick up your artist then they bring you someone new that doesn’t have any experience on doing big detail tattoos and is not in the IPad either to check out their work. What a waste of time and money. Stay away from here

I got a tattoo here the finished product is ok, but I have some crooked lines and a few missing details. But I would still recommend this shop it’s a good place and the people are great. If you want a simple piece they are perfect.

Bryan Fadeproof @fadeproof7777 did a amazing job on a huge coverup on my leg! I let some horrible tattoo artist in my past touch me . He covered up huge font on my thigh. It really bugged my confidence a lot and he made me feel so comfortable about covering it up. Helped me draw something up. He also tattoos so fast compared to other artist which I appreciate . I never review anything, but I had to come back and do this for you guys. I came in last night for a tattoo. My artists name was Fadeproof. Ashley helped me to coordinate with the perfect person a month ago when I booked my appointment and after seeing his work, I knew he was the one. Ive had tattoos in the past and the artists demeanor has always been kinda detached in my opinion, just inking skin if you will. Fadeproof saw my design and said, This is gonna be be beautiful. I love how he seems like he really cares about his art. He even said he would ice it out for me! Taking a simple butterfly design I got from Pinterest, he transformed it into something even more than I expected. In the end, even he stood back and admired his own work. I appreciated that, and it makes he happy to show it off on my arm. I will definitely be back, and his my go to from here on out.

Walked in looking for a consult on my Badger tattoo. Cesar made him self available, helped me finalize a design, and quoted me 2 hours of work on the spot. Finished in under an hour and a half and the ink is fantastic. My friends are blown away by the detail and care that he was able to get out of his tattoo gun. Far and away the best tattoo experience Ive had. Looking forward to having him do my next piece.

First impressions are everything. When I walked in I noticed it smelled very nice not like your normal tattoo shops. We greeted when I walked in by a very nice young lady. Then my artist Bryan came out to greet me which is different from most other shops. He was very polite and welcoming. Went to get a small faded light red 1“ by 3”name covered up and at first it was $100.00 then the girl went in the back came out couple mins later said it’s $600.00 since it’s a cover up. A small tattoo that’s faded red and will take only 30 mins is way over priced. They are a rip off and only trying to steal your money for credit off a tv show when the guy didn’t win Sparrows will never have my service

Paid $50 for my navel piercing to reject the metal completely. At the time they only carried titanium, it would be better if they carried stainless steel as well, for those of us who are sensitive to certain metals.I was told no one has complained about the metal yet, you should be fine... Other than that the place is clean, nice staff.

I got all seven tattoos from Jennifer. She is the best. Her work is clean and great, healed up nicely, even my husband got tattoos from her with no issues. She is the best and I would recommend her over and over again. I always get compliments on how good her art work is.

I called to see if they were available but I was left on hold for about 10 minutes and they hung up on me, I was also on my way there at the same time and the staff were just talking to them selfs while I was on hold the whole time. When I talked to the lady at the desk she kept interrupting me to talk to co workers so I just left. Sucks cause I was ready to spend some money today but I guess not.

Cody is incredible! He completed my half sleeve yesterday and it is absolutely beautiful. Hes kind, fun to talk to, and makes the time go by quickly. I gave him a lot of freedom on my tattoo, really only having 1-2 must have elements, and he knocked it out of the park. Hes quick but his artistry is still impeccable! The studio itself is super clean, modern, and everyone that I came across was super nice. He is definitely my tattoo artist for life. Couldnt recommend Cody or Sparrows more!

This place was great!! Wonderful employees . Jen did my very first tattoo, and on my foot of all places. She was amazing, very gentle. My sister and I got matching sister tattoos and I love mine.

This place has plenty of talent. They cover many styles from black & gray, new school, realism, cover ups, you pretty much name it and they can do it. I like the private studios and clean artistic atmosphere. The Thing that you notice is that these guys are true artists.The owner Clint has done a few large pieces on me, one of which was a coverup. He advised me on what he thought would work best and we found a great piece from a batch of photos that I liked. The fact that it was a cover up didnt really limit the design at all. In the end I got a fantastic tattoo that I never thought was possible. Most recently I got a second large piece. He tied the the picture into the first tattoo making it into a larger themed piece. I cant say enough how well these turned out. Vibrant colors and great detail! I am very pleased

Chris Judd is awesome! My girlfriend wanted a new tattoo. We looked around DFW and decided that Sparrows fit the bill. I went in before Christmas and the guy behind the counter was sweet and very helpful. After the new year, my girlfriend decided on the design she wanted and after looking through their web site, decided on Judd. She liked his style. When we went in for the initial consult, he sat with us and talked through the tat, explaining the placement and sizing and talked about colors and what he though would be good for her. Today, we went in and he spent 2 hours just getting the layout in place. We were pleased that he showed such passion about the tat and wanted to make it right. He did the actual tat in less than an hour and the entire time he explained what he was doing and what was going on. Anyone who knows me knows that I dont have one, but after seeing the love that Judd has for the industry, showing such professionalism and taking such care to make sure that Lisa was pleased with the placement and colors, Im considering getting one! I wont go to anyone but Judd and Id recommend him to anyone that wants a professional, honest, caring tattoo artist to deliver an excellent tat. PS. The prices were awesome, too.

And in reference to the comment that the piercer didnt listen to you about the placement of the piercing. Both piercers in the studio are very well educated in the proper placement of piercings. It is the job of the piercers to place the piercing in the best placement to fit your body. I am sorry that you had a bad experience in the studio. Ive been going to Hector since 2013 and so has my dad. He is AMAZING!!!! I currently live in Wichita Falls, TX and commute to Mansfield whenever I need some work done. Sparrows tattoo is the absolute best!!! Hector ensures that it is exactly what you want before he puts any ink on you. I fell in love with Hectors work when he hand drew exactly what I pictured in my head for my back piece. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I took my daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time and Megan did fabulous! Any questions my daughter had(who is 6) she answered them and answered mine as well. She gave me some new information about self care afterwards that was different from when I got my ears pierced when I was kid and it was great information because my daughter got no infections and is still wearing her earrings. When Im ready to get the piercings I would like, Im definitely going to go see Megan.

The original work done by Chris Judd was quite nice. Two years later it already needs a touch up, and not only will the fix cost as much as the original piece, but hes rude to boot. Is it too much to ask that he try to be pleasant while hes price raping?Reply: Is charging a 100.00 shop fee and suggesting I get another small tattoo to justify that charge standard for a touch up? Lets be clear; I did not raise my voice at all and was not ugly to Chris. He very likely didnt even know I was upset. Had he offered, I would absolutely have come in at HISconvenience, no problem. I hung up the phone feeling quite disheartened, and started looking for another place to do the next two pieces I am planning (which is really not what I want). So, I am happy to discuss this, and relieved that you are offering a resolution. I will definitely email you. Thank you.

This review is not for the entire staff at Sparrow, only the artist I dealt with. Zach is a talented artist, no question about it, but he does not care about helping make your tattoo the best it can be. Almost all the other artists Ive dealt with in the past offered ideas on how to make the tattoo better. Zach drew an average sketch and then left me to critique and critique until I felt it was time to begin. Looking back I realized the tattoo could have turned out better if Zach had given some great ideas on how to make it perfect. Ill pass on the free touch-up. Id rather pay someone else to do that rather than come back to this place again.

Jennifer did my tattoo, a tribal flower. She complained the entire time that the tattoo I got was small, despite it taking up half of the side of my calf. Shortly after my tattoo was complete, it started burning in certain areas. The next day and for the next week, there was a lot of redness and discomfort surrounding the tattoo. Three weeks later, it looks bruised and scarred. This tattoo is my 14th so I am well versed in aftercare. This tattoo scabbed up way more than any of my other tattoos to be “so tiny”. I definitely do not recommend this artist. First and LAST tattoo by her.

Great experience! Been putting off getting a tattoo for the longest time and finally decided on a design then took the chance. This was my first tattoo so I did not know what to expect. I had seen this place before and my sister in law had been here to get one as well, but I was unsure if they were reputable. I stopped by on afternoon with my nephew to check it out, very clean, organized, professional atmosphere. Made you feel very comfortable upon walking in. Explained to them I wanted a Military themed tattoo and was introduced to Hector. Very friendly and scheduled me for 3 days later. I expressed to him I work overnights so he said come in at 12pm instead of 1pm when they opened so he could get started early for me. Impressed that he made an accomadation for me. Went over what I wanted and he drew up exactly how I pictured. I picked the font of the lettering and even made my own adjustments. He def accepted my changes. Again great experience and very professional establishment. I will tell everyone about this place and WILL GO BACK as soon as I get more $$$. By the way good price too. Thanks!

I came in today to ask how much a certain tattoo I want would cost. I chose this place not only because of the wonderful reviews, but also because of Clint Cummings (I am a fan). My brother in law who also wanted to get a tattoo was with me. He simply asked the female at the front named Mo Southern if one of the tattoo artist we were interested in had a business card and her response was I dont know. I think the cards are over there. According to her bio on their website, she has 10 years customer service. What a joke.I feel like this shop, being that it is so widely known, is helping to push for acceptance for those of us who choose to use our bodies to express ourselves. Poor customer service was the last thing I expected when I decided to use their services. Furthermore, first impressions are key to building relationships in any customer oriented industry.I did, however, find an artist who had an amazing portfolio and may consider updating my review if I can stomach dealing with the woman at the front desk again.

Went for a septum piercing and ear piercing by Megan. She was quick, explained the process and very professional. Couldnt be happier with the quality of jewelry and the piercings that were done. Well definitely be going back soon!

Got my second cartilage piercing there and I would highly recommend doing it there. Theyre super professional and very friendly. They explain everything you need to know about caring for it and go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. My best friend and I both got our second cartilage piercing together and after she got hers done, she almost fainted because she didnt eat much that day before getting it done. Another artist walked me down to a convenience store to get her something to drink to help perk her up! They are very genuine people and will literally go out of their way to help you out.

Don’t go here unless you like wasting your time. I called before to make sure what I wanted was available ( simple hoop nose ring) they said yes we have multiple colors too. Wellllll they didn’t and the only nose hoop they had was so small it wouldn’t even fit a baby. Just say no if you don’t have it in stock :-)Update: very very VERYYY few people would be able to make that hoop fit in there nose. It should have been said when I called on the phone that there was only one size available that is rare to work. I found a better place w more selection and better prices anyways so it worked out for me!

Ive been here a couple of times, Greg Sullivan is the best, hes given me exactly what I wanted for my tattoos, he was awesome and very professional. The shop itself is in a very good area and you can tell that they take pride in their work. Cody Dresser has done all of my tattoos, and the guy is amazing! Hes such a great artist, and it helps that hes also super professional and fun to work with. Went in the other day with all intentions of getting a triple forward helix piercing from Russell. He took a look at my ear and said it just wouldnt work to do that to my ear. I was a little disappointed, but he said he had some other ideas that we could try. I ended getting a triple outer conch piercing that I am absolutely in love with! I found Sparrow tattoo by accident. just happen to notice it when driving by. Ive been wanting another tattoo for quite some time but was unsure where to go in this area. I pulled up their website and started looking at the different artist. After getting a tattoo fund gift from my girlfriend, i got more serious about getting one from this place. After looking at all the artist, I decided on Chris Judd. I loved his style. I made an appointment just to talk to him and get a feel for the shop. As soon as I walked in I was impressed. The shop was clean, neat and had an awesome decor. Chris came out and introduced himself. He sat down with us and listened to my thoughts on what I wanted. Today when I went back in, he sat down with us again and looked at my ideas. We went back to his station and he spent almost 2 hours making sure the placement was right and it was what I wanted. He said, and I quote, I wont do anything until I get this right. He really took his time getting everything just perfect and to my liking. He explained everything he was doing and why. His experience and professionalism was evident from the start. I couldnt have asked for a better artist and I am more than pleased with my tattoo.
