Alice was a pleasure to work with from the moment I walked into the facility. She was not that pestering, “Just checking on you.” Salesperson. She respected my time and my desire to look without interruption. After I narrowed my decision down, she placed the order. The order came in and the company held it in the warehouse until my new construction home was completed. I’m very impressed by the level of service provided by this company. Manager Michael has been amazing and always so incredibly helpful... he has found just the perfect piece, he has helped load furniture into our truck and then called to make sure we got it into our home and it fit our space, he has searched for items.....Michael has gone above and beyond!!! Always professional and never pushy! They deliver within a couple days of ordering. The delivery guys are very friendly and are so very careful when placing and setting up the furniture. Definitely recommend!!!

Scott Terrell from the Mansfield, Texas store was able to locate these items quickly and have them delivered to my home within a week. The delivery personnel from the Shreveport, LA warehouse were professional, courteous, and very accommodating in removing furniture and replacing it with the new furniture.I am very please with the quality.

Ivan Smith’s is a pleasant place to browse for furniture. The sales associates are friendly and helpful, yet let you shop on your own until their assistance is needed. I did not feel pressured to buy. Their furniture is good quality and arranged well.When the furniture was delivered, the fellows who brought it were courteous, professional,, and knew exactly how to set up the furniture I had purchased. I was impressed from initial shopping to furniture delivery.

I am a person who rarely writes reviews. However, I had such a terrible experience here and left feeling so upset that I felt the need to take the time to do so. I walked around the entire store and waited in one spot of the store for over 10 minutes before anyone offered to assist me. After 1 of the 3 reps decided to finally ask me if I needed help, she was extremely short and continued to remind me that the chair I had my eye on was $900 as if I could not afford it. I decided to go to the counter and make my purchase because I refused to give her a commission. Upon going to the counter I again was reminded twice more by the desk clerk that the chair was $900 and if I was sure that I wanted it. After saying yes for the millionth time I asked when the chair would be in. The store manager checked and told me maybe mid October but that could not be confirmed they could not tell me when. That put me off because I refused to pay for an imaginary date. I asked if they could call me when it came in. His reply was that I could pay and wait. I declined and politely asked for the information for the chair and that I would continue to look around. He agreed and once handing it to me printed out in landscape view stated that “I printed it big for you”. I am African American an HR Manager by trade and I was extremely mortified and angered by my experience here. I will never give Ivan furniture a penny of my money.

Not only was the delivery on time, it was 45 minutes EARLY. Three guys put the chair together, tested it out, showed my some of the finer points of the chair, cleaned up after themselves and left.The chair is all we hoped it would be and more.Thank you to Wil House.

At first I loved my furniture, however Ive had nothing but issues with it since delivery in February. I purchased 2 sofas, a large sectional, and a kitchen table with 6 chairs. Ive had the warranty company out here 4 or 5 times already. My first issue was on the sectional. The fabric wasnt put on correctly. The warranty company came out and they had to order new fabric. It took about a month to receive it then he had to come back to put it on. Then one of my sofas wasnt manufactured correctly. It could not be repaired so they had to order a new one. I got the replacement sofa last week and just found a one inch cut that looks like its from a box cutter. I also found lots of loose threading on that same sofa. Now, my chairs from my dining set are wobbly. I just want them to pick it all up and refund my money. I dont have kids or pets on the furniture. Its just me and my husband. Theres no reason I should be having this many problems. I had my previous furniture from Havertys for 18 years and never ever had any issues or had to use the warranty company for repairs. So disappointing.Update: I have received a new sofa and it seems to be in great condition. Hopefully, I will not have any problems with this one. I have raised the stars because I know the first issue was a manufacturing issue not the stores fault. However, I still have not received a credit on my account like I was supposed to.

The staff were great! They really made me feel special, and they care about my business. The bed I purchased is on back order, so they brought a frame to my home, and lifted my mattress off the floor, at no extra cost, to use until my bed comes in. I will shop here for all my furniture needs!

The custom service was amazing. However, the cleanliness of the furniture was something to be desired. The table had/has a lot of scratches. Furniture was nice but we received the incorrect furniture twice. And we were blamed for it by the woman sales person. We just gave up.

Such a great group in this store. Alice was so friendly and understanding that I wanted one thing, my husband wanted one thing and somehow she found something we could both like.

Sales people were great. But one of my items still hasn’t came in even though I was told it would be here by the middle of April. As far as I’m concerned that’s not my problem so why am I now having to pick it up in store(once it gets here which it still hasn’t) instead of delivered as promised?UPDATE: further clarification on this review as I’ve been reached out to: I did not intend this to be a bad review and as I’ve mentioned the sales team at this location is phenomenal! I will continue using Ivan smith in my future as my first choice in furniture because of the affordability and because it supports a smaller business. That being said when buying furniture in current conditions expect delays and do not always expect delivery if your furniture comes in at separate times. Be prepared for changes and for the possibility of needing to pick up in store.

My wife and I purchased a table recently from Ivan Smith furniture. We drove 45 minutes to get it. Brought it home and found that the table had minor damage. After calling Scott and explaining the situation he drove personally from Mansfield to Grapevine to deliver us a new chair and new table leg to replace the damaged one.They went above and beyond what we expected. We discovered the Ivan Smith store while driving down the highway and decided to go inside to check it out as we had not heard of the store before. After the purchase of a new home we were looking to refurnish certain rooms such as the Master Bedroom and some den upgrades. Our agent Chris Owens was great, he listened to our ideas of what we we’re wanting to do and helped by directing us to our purchases and not pushing us in directions. Because of him, we were able to get the perfect fit for us and our new home. I will be back when I need to refresh other rooms in my home.Also, the store staff was very helpful and friendly. Customer service here is fantastic. We ordered a bed for my son and it had some minor damages. The manager promptly ordered us a new one and had it delivered and installed. He followed up to make sure we were happy with the bed! Great furniture and very affordable.

They have a lot of furniture options and I was able to buy a recliner right off of the floor and take it home with me.

Quality furniture, nice show room, nice staff not too pushy. The pricing and signage was not very clear, some items sold in groups only which I found surprising at a store with good quality furnishings, this made it less buyer friendly and certainly not the norm unless youre shopping at Bug Lots or Rent-A-Center.

Showroom floor is ok but their inventory online is huge and they can get you almost anything for a great price!

The quality and service was superior, from start to finish. The sales team showed great knowledge and customer service while operating during the peak of the Covid 19 pandemic in Mansfield, Texas. It was like a getaway to visit the showroom. The quality of service and updates were amazing. While inventory may have been low due to the pandemic. We were able to get all items ahead of time. We will continue to shop at Ivan due to the variety of furnishings and amazing workmanship.

I’m glad that other customers have written rave reviews. I had purchased $20,000 last year at a different furniture store. My husband needed an office chair after we wanted to try Ivan’s.The chair broke its under warranty. It has taken over a month of me calling the store and corporate and still have not heard back regarding repairing the chair first before they give me a new one. Still waiting.

I was there for there opening weekend to look at chairs for the table I made, met Chris and he was vary friendly not pushy at all it was nice! We didn’t end up getting anything then. So fast forward after quarantine my wife and I go in Chris still remembered us and we ended up finding chairs and a bench we got it ordered it was there 2 days later over all an amazing experience glad to have them around

We found the exact pieces of furniture that we wanted for our new home. Chris, our salesman, was really helpful. And we wanted to buy locally. Sales were great and delivery guys were polite and very careful with our stuff.

When we arrived, there were 2 salesman. 1 was assisting another couple & the other was walking around. It was obvious we were looking to purchase bedroom furniture. After I made a selection, I had to approach the salesman already working with the couple to get someone else to assist us. Other than that, the experience was fine. I’m just not big on having to hunt down people to spend my money.

The only problem I had was there was no hardware in the box for my coffee table. When I called to tell them, they checked and found some. They did not offer to give me any type of credit for my inconvenience. I had to be the one to drive back over and pick it up using my time and gas to do it.Everyone, however, was very kind.
