Nostalgic music is a nice touch & typically lots of good buys in the Nosh section. But watch out for deposit fees being added to non-returnables. I bought protein (packed in 5 oz disposable containers) & was was charged .10 per container (which would only be a .5 if it were returnable due to the size). I told the cashier but she actually pointed to the Please Recycle text saying that meant the store had to charge a deposit. I showed her a can to prove that returnable items actually say how much the deposit is by state, and showed her how all items nowadays say please recycle that are not returnable. She shrugged and said I would have to come back & talk to the owner. Im pretty sure the owner is well aware of what can and cannot be charged a deposit. Items with a deposit fee are set by the state, not the store. I believe this is a tactic to get more money on items that are deeply discounted. In most Groc Outlets you hear people say to watch what is actually being rung up and so forth. Well, add this to your list of things to watch out for in this chain.

The employees are the most helpful and friendly group of people Ive met. They will go out of their way to show you some really awesome deals like 2 for $1. Favorite store ever!

The grocery outlet is nice very clean a lot of good deals I love the light and you can see everything and everyone was nice these guys are on it. I wish we could order online or I wish there was an app where you can order online just a suggestion

I love this place! I usually go to Safeway or the big stores. This one caught my eye since dollar tree is next door. I doing a 36 pack of waters for only 2.99. what a deal! Ill be going back weekly at this price!

I accidentally bought Rachel Ray cat food instead of dog food. I even opened it before I realized it. The employees and the manager were all very nice and let me return it, no problem. Of Course I had to have the receipt. I was so happy I wasn’t stuck with a big bag of cat food.

Great place to shop before heading to the lake . Great prices . Unfortunately drinks for the kids were a no go . They only had a extended small selection of capris suns . And the were the sour flavor . Kids were not happy about that . But it worked

Depending on the day, you can find some great deals. Cashiers are generally pretty nice. Store is always pretty clean. Its a good supplement to our monthly Costco run for as needed items. The last star is left off because more than once I have experienced cashiers smoking 15ft upwind outside the doors on the other side of the carts. Its not a good look for the store and I dont want to walk through smoke smell with my 2 year old to get groceries.

Inexpensive groceries and it had some daily necessities for sale also. The selections werent great but itll get you cheaper prices on all their merchandise. Produces are not the freshest but sometimes they do have fresh fruits on special special price that are very cheap and its very fresh also. Get on their email list and they will give you special discounts.

Limited selection. You can get some unusual brands there; European cookies . The best thing is the wine section. Best prices on wine in the city. There are not a lot of high-end wines but the prices on the medium to low and wines are pretty good.

Merchandise looking for all there except for ginger lime Coke-a-Cola. Although we were not on a large shopping run, we covered everything we were looking for.Our cashier was a pleasant bonus. She was not overly friendly in a phony kind of way. With the inventory not ever the same if you find a great buy on something its best to get all of that item you can because you most likely wont see it again next time you shop.

I love shopping at Grocery Outlet. You cant beat their prices. If you find something you really like, best bet is to buy more than one...you never know if/when you will find the item. The area around the store isnt the best as there are a lot of homeless...but the employees are note and helpful and the store is always clean!

This store is hit or miss depending on the shipment of food they received recently, but pricing is usually good. You definitely need to check the expiration dates on everything you buy there, as they sometimes have food that expires the very next day at times. Not a store for primary grocery shopping

If your weekly shopping list is on the smaller side and you just need a few staples, go ahead and do your shopping here. Their russet potatoes are the lowest price Ive seen in town. They may not have the space or selection they have at larger grocery stores, but they have all the basics.And when it comes to wine, they have a fairly large selection with amazing prices. A 6 or 7 dollar wine there costs 15 at Safeway! They also have craft beers at well.Since they are on the smaller side, they may not have the vast variety of items like they do at Safeway or Food 4 Less. But for what they are, theyre great!

Wish I could give 2.5 stars to show it is really in the middle. Went up here to check out their selection, as each Grocery Outlet is different. There are some good deals to be found, but it ranks behind the Modesto or Turlock location in my opinion. Fewer great! deals and the parking lot is really a mess.

They have some great prices on a large number of items. Staff is helpful and friendly. They do run out of some items that dont get restocked, but that is to be expected.
