The bakery literally makes the best cakes in all of manteca! We have them make a two tier mermaid cake for my 8-year-olds birthday and it turned out better than we could have asked for. They were very creative and it turned out absolutely amazing! We will not go to any other bakery or anywhere else for our cakes except for this Save Mart bakery!

I really like shopping at Save Mart. The employees are always so helpful and friendly. If what I want isnt on the shelf, they have no problem checking in the back room for it. If out of stock they always offer a Rain Check when items on sale. Pleasant to shop at Save Mart 😊

Most of the staff were pleasant, only one employee was not willing to engage on conversation whe. I asked about a product. Overall it was good.

It was great being able to go shopping again at Savemart on Main street after 18 months. Yes, there have been changes, but I will get used to it. The people are great and are there if I need help. I have shopped there for 34 years and will continue to in the future. 🐧💕

I wonder who responds to these reviews. One review was 4 star and the person gave a complaint about long lines and having to bag their groceries The response was thank you for 4 star rating please let us know what we can do to make better experience! Did they read review? I had an extremely awful experience I hesitated to write a letter to manager but it’s been a couple of weeks and I’ve held on to receipt intending to write so I will and I will hand deliver to the store manager directly. Thank goodness another employee saw what my checker did and told me her employee number is on receipt. So I will write about experience with her rather the store and other employees which have always been courteous. I normally go to Ripon store who’s is always 5 star so in the future I will continue to go there.

Eric the bag person was so helpful and kind... Took my groceries out of basket and into my car with no complaints.. was so hot hot side.. Save Mart needs more people like him working there.

Been going here for years. Prices can be a little high but when you need something they usually have it. Plus its 3 minutes from my house.

One of my favorite grocery stores in the area. Staff is great as well as inventory. They always try and make sure you get checked out in a timely manner.

Clean store, great staff, helpful and courteous . I rang up 200 on groceries during a rush. The clerk was patient and helpful. My card was in my car and my cart was intact when i paid and was helped to my car.

I like this store, they are always improving it and employees are always helpful.

Need a variety of products that are cheap and affordable this is the place .From cosmetics to house hold items this is where I go.

They always have a riding cart for the elderly the only thing I dont like is they need more cashiers sometimes

Save Mart periodically run price promotion and their promotion products are comparably cheaper than other grocery stores. Worth visit for good price products. 😊

I was actually really impressed with the update to the store. Their meet selection seems a lot more solid and of higher quality which is one of the main reasons I pick one grocery store over the other. Produce is yop notch and better than Safeway.

Recently remodeled and looking good! Meat dpt has a butcher block with meat and seafood now, also if you need something cute or a specific order theyll take care of you. And the deli now has a cold and hot food bar. Just a note, the food in the hot bar is made fresh daily by hand not frozen packaged product, like the meat balls are seasoned and hand rolled just before cooking, the foods really tasty.

Only store in town with dry ice and for the bargain vs. nobody else in town since the loss of our own ice factory in mantecas ancient history has dry ice available to compare with.Dry ice is sub zero level of coolness. So do always plan befor you buy. Not too self it will burn your skin if it stays touching it for more then a few hot potatoes of a second. So have think gloves ready and at least an ice cooler or styrofoam container with lid that if can fit in and stay in till use is in action. As soo. As they take it out if theyre freezer the clock on your ice melting and disappearing right in thin air begins. And its not visibly fast untill one moment it was right here in the paper bag and now the bags just empty. 🤷‍♂️,special thanks to Save Mart for keeping in mind that some of us rely on them for the dry ice.ThanksI.Fink

Long wait for after dinner hours. Only two checkers and one was 15 items or less.Had to bag my own groceries...

The bagboys are so dumb, they cant handle bagging cold, and perishable items together. No. I find my sour cream with the bread and crackers. The coffee cream with the chips and condiments. Not appreciated at all. Especially as I had just nicely explained that I dont have any help at home, and needed to just bring in the cold/frozen/perishable for now. Not helpful for someone who is disabled. I hate that this makes me sound like a karen, but I was at the end of my tether, and this just made me feel like crying.

This store has a new layout that is really easy on the eyes after a long day. The bakery department is stellar and Save Mart is known for having great pastries and bread. The rotisserie chicken is good as well. I did not give a full 5 star review only because I dont use this as my primary store for shopping but it is good for that last minute something.

Always great service except Ive been in there a couple times where Ive seen a couple people without masks . Well what about all of us following the have to wear massk rule. Maybe managers should be stepping in there....

The girl running the check register was very rude, about people that were not wearing masks. I saw no signs anywhere in the store that the customers had to wear a mask. she was not wearing her mask correctly. her nose was exposed the entire time and she touched her mask about six times to adjust it, while I was waiting in line. for One customer ahead of me and me so she was very rude about me not having a mask on but then didnt know how to wear her mask and touching it the whole time she was complaining about me not wearing a mask to the other customer I thought you was very rude I was there about 1:30 my person running the check register had blondish light brown hair probably about 40 years old very rude and when I said that something about her mask she shot back at me anyway probably wont be going in there anytime soon

I have tried many times to enjoy this store. I must be honest, I would rather drive across town or drive to Lathrop if I need to go to Save-Mart. It doesn’t seem to matter what time of day I go, there is always a line because there are only 2 checkers. The checkers themselves are always courteous so that isn’t my issue. My biggest issue with the North Main Street location is the use of the express lane of 15 Items or less. Almost every time I go I am just picking up a few items. And there is usually someone who places there order on the belt with way more than 15 items. And I am talking it is obvious that they have WAY more than 15 items. I have never heard a checker tell them that they are in a 15 items or less lane. Today there were 3 people in front of me in the line. The first person had more that 15 items. The second person had unloaded her cart, not sure she had finished. She was an Instant Cart shopper. A clerk from the store was now taking the items and putting them back in the basket. I am hoping the checker told her she couldn’t do that. However, the shopper was more worried about the fact that she couldn’t purchase alcohol through the instacart and was trying to get that taken care of. Person #3 had 3 items and I had 4. It is just really frustrating. Like I said earlier, I would rather drive across town so I could do self-check out!

I have never seen more than two clerks working, each with a line half way into the isles. This combined with no self checkout usually means I shop somewhere else

Very disappointed in management elderly people had to stand in line 10 to 15 people long with only 2 registers open dont quite know how that happens but be careful if you come here around 6:00 p.m.

Good luck.Asked a stocker where the Ensure was and was told IDK, blown off by that employee - LAZY!!I was taught by Safeway many, many years ago to take the customer to the product.Saddest part was we were in the isle I needed, I had not walked that part of the isle until he walked through avoiding me.I was looking for the Fairlife Power Core, in my opinion a lot better than Ensure bc I got fat, the Muscle Milk is gritty and Power Core is the best for me.💖I am lactose intolerant.

I shop at save Mart on main st in manteca for convenience and their awesome staff. Otherwise the store is old and lacking variety. Its usually too warm in the store as well. I hope an upgraded store is in the near future. One more thing. I know save mart didnt remove the trees in the parking lot but now there is no shade in the summer.

Very disappionted the courtesy clerk put my soft peaches and my soft nectarines on the bottom of the bag, and when I got home they were all smashed. No good to eat anymore Im very upset about that.
