Store is very small and crammed, also quite pricey compared to other local stores. However, location is convenient to us. Service is a hit or miss tbh.

I used to come to this Mexican store because I like most of the food they cook in here, Mexican bread is so good, rice, carnitas, well most of it, ok, Friday’s prior cuaresma they have the traditional capirotada, I went to get some and I was so disappointed cause it was not what I expected, It was horrible, it was like if after cooked it they mixed everything, besides extremely soggy, I had to threw it away because no one in my house wanted to eat that, not even me that hate to waste food, sorry but no stars for the person who cooked the capirotada on 03/19/2.

A go to store for your anything to cook. Amazing service great food. Good prices, be aware parking is hard to find, the store is very poplar.

2 tacos - asada & chicharron / The food is good but they want to charge you for everything. Salsa, cilantro and onion plus they are always changing the price and charging you extra for things. Some lady charged me $.25 another lady charged me $.50 and today another lady charged me $1.00.I can pay the money, thats not a problem. Just dont keep changing your freaken prices everytime I go.I will never come back to this store.

This place is my go to Market. Convinient, and staff is real friendly. Only reason its not a 5 star the place need to expand with the amount of patrons shopping gets crowded

Small place but big selection. Quality meat selection, vegetables herbs and spices. anything you need to get some good food going. just moved into town and this place is just as good as some of my other go to spots I used to have.

It is okay but very cramped when it gets busy. They should open a larger store.

Well stock and clean. I think they should expand we need a large Mexican market in town.

The layout is no different than any other small market. Small aisles. Feels crowded even when empty due to being overstocked with displays.The checkout lines are a full on race at times to be first, dont understand why....Too close to the deli lines.Prices are not going to blow your mind.I go for the bread and pastries. They are worth all the trouble mentioned above.

Stopped by to get some fresh Mex. Wanted to make a really good dish Chiles Rellenos Casororle. Need either Anmhiem Chiles or Arbols Chiles to make the dish. Picked out some really nice Anmhiem Chiles and some grey squash Pico De Gallo fresh Mex store made salsa. Got to love California style.

Stood in line and happily waited my turn at the Deli, once it was my turn they helped the lady behind me. After that someone else I asked for assistance but they kept ignoring me. So I just left. Treating someone a way because of their color is ignorant.

The fact that theres always cars in the parking lot lets you know its a good store. The staff is always cool and they have a good variety of pan dulce. The food menu is pretty good and the butcher shop has a good selection of meat at fair prices. Good environment

Rather go to the rosita this people always have a bad vib the old ladys at the food side are rude and hesitate to do things they never have natural juices dosnt matter what day or hour of the week u stop by even tho its in the menu and there meat is old thy tryed saleing me brown meat sayin it was the seasonings no thanks people wana walk into a place where u feel welcome not doged as soon as u walk in

We just called to get price on Pigs Feet and Trip to make menudo. The woman who answered the phone gave me price for rice and beans. I repeated the request for Patas and Trip and was informed they do not sell. A Mexican Meat Market that does not sell basic ingredients for Menudo? When I confirmed that with the young lady she hung up on me. Will not patronize this store!

This place has too much going on inside. They offer taquiera and market in the same close quarters and they dont take into consideration that all the comotion this causes is stressful for people who like things to flow freely without a bunch of noise and bustle. I like to think that most people feel this way. They should take note of a little store called Don Juans on Crowslanding... now that is a Taquiera/Market done right!

Best Mexican grocery store in Manteca and Taqueria. And the best Carnitas and even takes a chicharron hes everything you need to make a good meal

I really like the way the store is run I just wish it was a bigger store isles are too close together and crowded but besides that its a convenient place to shop

Best place in manteca for mexican food... evryone thinks La Costa is the best but thats because theyve never had carnitas or chile verde from La Super Altena... Been around for over 20 years.... I remember walking there with my grNdma as a lil kid.... and i aint gonna lie i used too steal big giant bags of those watermelon suckers covered in chile
