Wonderful place to go when in need of your choice of poison lol. Beer, Wine or anything you can name. Staff is great and everyone is very helpful here. I learn that you can get better prices here than the average liquor store in town. Plus the more you spend the more points you earn.

Great service and their inventory of wines, distilled liquors was second to none. We went in just to look around but ended up buying several items. I would highly recommend you stop in to have a look. Bring your $$ because you will end up buying something.

Lots of choices. Only downfall for me was when I asked a staff member for help finding something it seemed like I was a bother for asking. I ended scanning all aisles myself until I found what I was looking for. Found it... delicious

My first time here. I came on Saturday, 11/21/20. This store is huge! I love ciders, so a lot of pictures are of ciders. Plastic dividers at each checkout lane, many checkouts open. They even have a rewards program. Employees were friendly and helpful when I asked a question. Clean store. I liked the singles I could buy of ciders. They also have singles of beets as well!

It can be a bit overwhelming because they have so much, but its great once you get over the initial shock. Best prices compared to any other store by a mile, the best service and the best selection. Awesome hours too! I do wish their app was better when it came to locating a specific product since they have so many items.

Love the selection here, however my daughter and son went in there the other day and my son(22) brought my 15 year old daughter in the store to help carry things for him. They ID them both at check out and when he explained to the older woman cashier that she didn’t have An ID and she was trying to leave to go to the car, she called a manager and claimed that she had to have id or they couldn’t sell to him or anyone with them. We completely missed this policy and didn’t realize it had to be a guardian When the manager came I guess he was very nice and because my son had already payed by the time my daughter was told to leave they let everyone else check out. However after my son and daughter left the building to get in the car, the woman cashier said “I don’t buy it she looks old enough to sit in the car” to my sons friend checking out with her. I find this extremely rude and disrespectful especially about kids!!. There was nowhere posted on the doors or building that you couldn’t ENTER unless 21. My kids didn’t know and understand the policy so even though it is policy and we respect that, my kids were very apologetic and respectful yet the cashier had THAT POOR of customer service. Very rude and I would have never thought we would get this type of service in one of my favorite places. Completely disappointed in the staff there and won’t be coming back.

If it was closer to me, it would probably be my go-to liquor store. Very good prices and pretty massive selection. I prefer mom-and-pop shops and smaller chains, but they dont always carry EXACTLY what I want. Total Wine often comes through on that front.

Service is horrible. I have reached out twice trying to get an answer to why the 10% off spirits direct coupon did not work on my spirits direct item. Have heard nothing back. When I questioned it in store the cashier gave me a blank stare and shrugged their shoulders. Shopping in there is 50/50: either you get swarmed by people recommending their house brands that they make higher margins on or you have to work to find someone. Ive been shopping here for years but Im waiting to see why I should anymore!Edit after Total Wine responded: There was a 10% off Spirits Direct coupon that was valid through September 5th, 2021. I made the purchase on August 25th, the coupon worked in their application, but I wanted to come in and make the purchase. Nice of them to try and insinuate I am lying about this and tell me to ask someone else for an answer. They can look up this transaction and have it fixed in a minute but they wont!

They have a huge variety of beer, wine and spirits but that does stretch them thin making it difficult to get exactly what you want. Their prices are a little bit higher than I like too.Even though their selection is not as impressive in variety, I think you are better off shopping at a whole sale liquor store like Sams Club or Costco in my opinion.

Amazing selection of beer and spirits, as well as wine. The staff was super helpful. We couldnt find a specific beer, asked somebody and he took us right to the place. He even climbed up a ladder to find additional stock for us. I would highly recommend for the selection and service.

We have used Total Wine as our primary liquor store for years and that wont change any time soon. The stock is fantastic for all kinds of alcohol and mixers, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and our dog loves going as well! (Yes, the Roseville location is dog-friendly!)I cant recommend Total Wine enough.

They have so much of a selection and the employees are really helpful. Sometimes the prices are a bit high, but this place has more product available than other liquor stores.

About 6 weeks ago I stopped in with my boyfriends 12 year old daughter. I picked up a 4-pack of hard cider & we headed to the check out. The cashier asked for both of our IDs. As I was getting mine out I told the cashier that she is 12 & didnt have an ID. She then asked if she was my daughter, I said no & that her dad was my boyfriend. She then said she had to get her manager. At this point I am confused because I dont understand what the issue is, I am 32 years old. The manager checks my ID & they proceed to tell me that they can only sell to legal guardians with a minor present. If that is in fact the case, fine, but that is posted absolutely no where in the store/entrance. I find it hard to believe that every person who comes in with a minor is getting asked this question. Youre not allowing grandparents, aunts/uncles, step-parents to purchase alcohol with their grandchildren, nieces/nephews or step-children in tow?! I felt very singled out. We left. We went to a different Total Wine location & were not asked a single question. Needless, to say I likely wont be back to the Maple Grove location, at least not for quite some time.

Best place to get anything you need and the staff has always been helpful which is important because they have everything and the place is huge. Im a former bartender and I am able to find everything I need for speciality cocktails for any occasion.

Total Wine is great and this store is no exception. They always have my go to buys in stock as well as several new things to try. I hope the in store events come back soon.

Huge store. I don’t usually buy wine but wanted to get some for a party. Hard to know where to start with so many options. Good to know they have staff to help and good prices. They had lots of checkouts open and were friendly and accommodating. Good place to buy liquor items.

I get “ Id check “ every time.. 3 out of 3 times they called manger over to review and check my id.. I have asked why this is and have never gotten a response. Tbh good prices but I’m going to take my business els where for now on!

What a great selection of interesting beers! They have all the best variety’s of lagers pilsners ales sours stouts porters and everything you could possibly imagine!They also have a great selection of boxed wine! The staff is really nice and friendly!There is even a “beer cave”. Where you can actually go IN the cooler and pick out your beer! It’s like a behind the scenes look into how the store keeps the beer cold! Wowza. What a great time!

Normally a pretty positive place, tonight, my husband and our exchange student, who we are legal guardians of, were asked to leave the store at the check out. No one under 21, was repeated over and over as my husband asked about the woman and her 3 children a few registers over, and as he asked about the last time we were there 3 weeks ago with him in tote and no one said a word as he helped carry several cases of beer out of the store.I looked up Minnesota state law and nothing says a minor cannot enter an establishment with their parents or legal guardians. My husband asked our student to go to the car and still was refused service. We liked bringing him there so he could see how you could find anything from all over the world since in his country, he can drink (even though he chooses not to and also does not here because the program policy states he will be sent home if he does).We wont be back to this store. Total Wine is still a cool concept. Maple Grove location should check out the laws. We can get what we need much closer to home anyway and if we want to go to Total Wine, we will just go further out of our way.

Cheapest prices in town! Sometimes they get a little carried away at the registers. The way some of the employees ask for I.D. I feel as if the police is asking me for I.D.

Total Wine is to Minneapolis what Binneys Beverage Depot is to Chicago. Great values at incredible prices. The only downside is the tax rate, which is comprobable to Chicago. The upside is no taxes on clothing or shoes. You can peruse the store for a large order with their app and pick up later - a great feature for our of town visitors! Ive seen Total Wine in California and other places, so just a matter of time before they come to your area. The Costo of Wine beer and spirits. But not trying to be everything to everybody. As a matter of fact - better prices than Costco. Highly recommend!

The only liquor store you should go to. Prices are low and tons of items to select. Parking is easily available. There is also help if you need finding something. Very clean and neat store.

I went in to purchase alcohol at the maple grove location, I am of age and I was embarrassed by the lady working, she accused me of a fake id after she scanned in and approved by the system. After that I proceeded to show her my passport card which is a legal document of my age, I felt it was unnecessary to make a scene and call over her manager. I am disappointed on how your workers handled this situation.

We go to Total Wine - Maple Grove about every 2 weeks and my Husband would get a military discount. Today they say oh we dont do that.. you only get double purchase points. Manager looked at me so perplexed like he didnt know what was going on or had gone on at that store. NEVER have this issue at Haskells which I will say is now worth the extra drive for better customer care

Great choices and usually great help. However, this last time the employee did not take me to where I should go but just said to go over there. I still had trouble finding what I wanted. Usually great though.

Havent been to Total Wine in a few years. Felt wonderful to go back and find a vodka that I enjoy for a price that I cant beat anywhere else that I have seen, even with a discount.Although I live about 20 minutes away it was worth the trip!

Staff are paid $13 an hour. Most of them see a customer, they will run away from you. Trying to look busy. I did receive help from an employee. But otherwise, most employees seem to be embarrassed for not being able to earn more than $13 an hour.

It was pretty busy but the layout wasnt bad. They had the cider that I was looking for and couldnt find anywhere else. I had to ask an employee for help finding it and he lead me to it and was polite about it. The staff was polite and pleasant.

We have been doing curbside pick up since covid started. Our last order was a total disaster! My husband came home with only 2 of the 4 boxes that were our order. He didnt know since they put it directly into the trunk of his car. He drove all the way back to get what he thought was the rest of our order. Today I noticed that we were missing our Bloody Mary mix. I called to ask for the mix to be delivered and was told that they couldnt, even though they offer delivery. DISAPPOINTING!!!

Total wine in maple grove offers great prices and a VERY large selection of alcoholic beverages from around the world. As the name implies, it is one of the largest selections of wines Ive seen ranging in price.Definitely the best spot in the area for alcohol for your home

The prices are good here. But if youre coming for anything but wine and beer youre not going to have a great selection. The employees are focused on wine and beer, its too bad, but I guess thats what the store name is!!

They discriminate against women. They refused to let my fiance buy anything unless I showed my ID even after she showed hers. I wasnt buying anything and only went to accompany her, I didnt even have my wallet. Funny thing is, we were planning on using them for our wedding but will no longer. Theyll probably push back on this review and say its just policy but Ive never had the problem in reverse. Plenty of times Ive purchased without her showing ID. I guess total wine is stuck it the 1950s and cant get over their misogynistic culture.

HIGE HUGE selections well stocked. BIGGEST PLUS is the knowledgeable staff. They know whats on the shelves where its at. In the case of wine they can direct you to a similar wine at a lower price. My wife likes to have them suggest a new wine. They are avg about 80% on her enjoyment level
