What a fantastic store! I’ve been in retail all my life and this place is the highest example of nice people hard-working. I went in with a tire that has a slow leak in a brand new car that I had bought. My dealer couldn’t get to it for a month! Discount tire got me and fixed the tire and then said zero charge just to keep them in mind next time I buy a tire. I would not go any other tire place to buy a tire after this kind of service!😀

I had a slow leak in one of my tires that had been present for a while. I brought my car to Discount Tire today, although I hadnt purchased my set of tires from them. They told me Id be back on the road in an hour. In 45 minutes, the professional came to tell me that they had removed my wheel, found a small nail in my tire, removed it, patched my tire, and filled the rest of my tires. I was so grateful and then found that my price was... $0. They simply asked that I return should I need any tire work done in the future. Everyone was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and kind. This location absolutely has my business moving forward. Thank you so much for helping me out today!

Having been a customer at Maplewood Discount Tire on White Bear Avenue for several years, I want to applaud their continual great service. During a recent free tire check, they found a nail in one tire, quickly patched it and gave me alternate suggestions for further solutions, cautioning me to not trust that tire for too long a time. When I then decided to price winter tires,Tom, a service gentleman, had several suggestions and then had new tires ordered and on my car within 24 hours, with only 45 required for installation. Their staff answers all questions knowledgeably, efficiently and with pleasant attitudes. I always come away with a good feeling as a customer and about my auto care.

My Husband was just there, and a very nice, professional and very quick gentleman named, Jordan helped my Husband out.. We had to have a tire patched. As we all know the Seasons of Minnesota are Winter and Construction seasons. We somewhere picked up a nail and it could have been anywhere.Thank you Jordan for doing a great job for us! Hands down, the best customer service from any Discount Tires I’ve been to. This stems down from the great manager who always take care of his customers. I’ve stopped by many times with no appointment and they were always understanding. Sergio is also a great pal, always have a smile and happy to help. If you just gotta rotate tires, it always go buy quick but any other service, just expect to drop off your car or wait for a bit. If you gotta drive across town, make the trip—I certainly do!

The manager on duty this evening is the BEST MANAGER I HAVE EVER DELT WITH EVER!!!!!! I have been in management for over 20 years now, and he completely exceeded my expectations! I was there about a week prior, today my front end felt looser that it should be. I got home with my 3 boys and my brother came to look at my trailblazer. He could literally move my wheels around. We looked at my lugnuts and they looked as if they wher falling off and missing lugnuts. I called qnd they told me to come in. They not only fixed it, extremely nice, compensated me. And I over herd him with other customers and he was amazing with them and checked on everyone!!!

Discount Tire was my 2nd stop and was very impressed with what they had to offer it is better then the other competitor and the warranty is great.The service was outstanding and fast there was 1 little thing I noticed they did not line up my tire value stems with my hub caps they have indents for them. They were awesome!

I got a flat. Came into discount tire for my first time, staff is unbelievably attentive and polite. They acknowledged customers waiting in line. When I was up next the sales rep actually walked out from behind the counter to greet me. The sense of comfort their team brings to their customers is unmatched. Came to get my tires rechecked since my car sat in my garage for months. waited 24 minutes for help instead they parked 4 cars behind me and i had to austin powers(reverse,forward,reverse,forward,over and over) my way out of the park here for air check parking spots just so i wouldnt be late picking my kid up from school. they clearly saw me, many employees. as far as getting my tires put on here....they were great.

Explanation of what was done and when to return for tire rotation was thorough. Over all one of the best experiences in a purchase I have ever encountered.

This store is so helpful! I’ve been a customer for 15 years and they don’t disappoint in service and honesty. Recently I had a screw in my tire and it was repaired quickly with no charge. Other places might have tried to sell a new tire when there was a leak.

Lately every time we’ve gone in to have the tires rotated or looked at there always seems to be an issue right after we’ve left. Twice now we’ve had issues with tires going flat right after having them rotated. Do better.

Friendly service and reasonable prices. Ordering and scheduling an appointment online was quick and easy. They told me it would take 45 minutes to an hour, but they were done in about 35 minutes. I would recommend this place.

I’ve always had great service here, but I stopped by a few weeks ago and the person running the store was laughing so obnoxiously loud! I was there for an hour, and the whole time all I can hear was him laughing. I believe he was making fun of the asian customers. His attitude definitely rub off of me in a really nasty way. I’m definitely not going here again. If everyone is wondering who is, there is a photo of him at the front customer desk. The man definitely needs to be more humble!

I have always had good luck going here, Dan at the counter has always been true to his word and doesnt try and pull anything or tell you something you dont need. He tries to work for you as the customer. Grade AAA service all around. Thanks guys

I stopped by to get my all wheel balanced and also to fix the front driver side tire fixed.It had a slow lead either bead leaking or something. Had to put air in every month. Now I dont even know if they balanced my wheels or not. Because its not bringing them any money.

Up until recently, I have always experienced outstanding customer service at this store and had even purchased tires from them many years ago. After the customer service I received the other day trying to get air in my almost flat tire - a free service this store takes pride in offering, I will NEVER purchase tires here again OR ever get air in my tires at this store. Unless you want to be screamed at by a red bandana wearing monster! THE MOST rude person I have ever met in my entire life! The way he spoke was filled with rage, anger and he was screaming at me as - as if I just drove over his dog, as to where to park and wait my turn. You would have thought I just robbed the store! Good grief, buddy! Take a chill pill already! Extremely bad signage as to where to wait in line for your turn, and I told him that but he had people parking in reverse in a back parking lot out of sight from the garage entrance and one poor elderly gentleman who overheard the whole exchange waiting his turn actually told the red bandana wearing rep that is NO way to speak to anybody and he had better get an attitude adjustment. I thanked the elderly gentleman and he suggested I go across the street instead as THEY would help me immediately with my almost flat tire! Another woman waiting her turn said she had been parked where told to wait by Mr Bandana for 45 minutes, in a spot clearly out of sight from the garage entrance and clearly had been forgotten. Now I just am trying to get unsubscribed from discount tire emails, which will take forever. I just think in these challenging times we, the nation, the world are facing right now, assisting someone nicely in a patient, calm voice isn’t very much to ask for. If I ever treated a customer like this in my job position, I would be marched into HR ASAP! If I could rate this store zero stars, I would. Totally uncalled for! Shame on you! Don’t waste your time here people, go elsewhere! Save yourself the aggravation of being treated like your are a criminal! And all over getting air in a tire.... WOW!

I had my tires replaced in March. I had some service done at the dealer last week, the dealer had to replace a couple studs and lugnuts on a front tire, the lugnuts were cross threaded.I went back to Discount Tire and explained the situation, I had the receipt from the dealer with the amount of the stud replacement on it.The service writer went into the back room and in less then 5 minutes came back with the adjustment.I was amazed that there was no argument at all.I am impressed with there service.

Man, this place is where its at. Idc what people gotta say. I tell what you what, take the recommendation, and work out. The techs are super knowledgeable and walked me through my own problems. Xiong helped me out and took care of me. Yang was the tech. I watched him care for my rims as if they were his own. Would come back here from now own. Other discount tires, better watch out.

They used scare tactics to sell you tires. Saying the most ridiculous things so you buy all fours even though your other tires are still in good condition.

5 star for the service. 1 star for horrible customer service. Dropped off my vehicle two times for a tire leak. First time was a tire replacement due to a “splice” in the tire (I was suspicious because I already had my shop inspected for a leak which is coming from the valve stem plus they’re new snow tires with less than 15 miles driven), I figured I’ll give them my business by purchasing another new tire and their road hazard certificates since I was initially there to use their free tire repair service. Second time, same tire is leaking of course from the valve stem which they replaced it correctly now. No calls with any sort of update. I have to call and ask for a status usually 30 minutes before closing so I’m not without a vehicle the next day. The advisor told me it’s been done for awhile. When I asked what was wrong with the tire, he replied we’ll tell you when you get here. When I arrived, I asked them again and they had to run back to the shop to find an answer for me. Very unorganized. I’ve been in the automotive industry for 8 years and this is not acceptable customer service.*Update 12/8/20*Danny from discount tire reached out to me. He’s such an awesome person! His promptness and professionalism is exceptional. He’s willing to listen and assist me in any way. I didn’t asked for anything in return but he took the initiative to resolve the poor experience I’ve received. I understand in this industry there’s a lot happening around you but he set aside the time to reach out and connect with me. I would and will continue recommending this location to friends and families because of Danny.

Came in with a bad TPMS sensor. They fixed it quickly, but the next morning my tire was flat because the o-ring was pinched. Terrance helped me out and was clear with me on what happened. He even refunded my original cost to replace the sensor. I really appreciated the fact that he took responsibility for something out of his control.I will certainly be back

If you like to wait in line when you have an appointment and hear other phone conversations for 10 minutes of other dissatisfied customers then discount tires is the place for you. If you like to have the confidence that theyll swap your tires every year but every year theres always something that usually adds up to about $200 then discount tires is the place for you. If you like to wait in line even though theres a pandemic and you make an appointment but yet youre shuffled with the other people that are walk-ins, discount tires is the place for you. If you want to wait for half an hour after you have an appointment only to find out that the tires that you bought 3 years ago are too old to put on your vehicle and theyre not going to be able to put them on then discount tires is the place for you. Well I finally made the decision to stop shopping at discount tires; which is awesome because I know itll save me hours of my life good luck discount tires.

Tire rotation in and out quickly, no hassel.

Bought tires online with warranty and disposal. Had them delivered in a day or two at the shop. Walked in and got them on in less than an hour. Good service and quick! No problems with the steering wheels afterwards either (had that problem at a local mechanic shop and it was horrifying that they didnt realign the steering wheel after working on my tires then...I thought I was going to crash into someone on the busy streets!!).

They said tire would be in today but it wasnt in when my appointment time was here and they said they would call me when it came in but no phone call so i called them only to learn that my tire was in but thay would be closing soon so now I have to spend ANOTHER day to get my bad tire taken off and new tire put on not happy with discount tire over this matterBut in the end it all worked out and as i waited for my tire to be fixed a gentleman was explaining to me that he hasnt had any food for going on four days now because of the virus he was out of work and dead broke but discount tire was fixing his tire for free how nice to have someone helping when things are at its worst i would recommend discount tire to anyone looking for work done on their cars thanks Roger B

Friendly informative staff. We were helped immediately when we got there. Staff was happy to answer questions and gave you the feeling they appreciated your business. We made an appointment for later that day, car was brought in right when we got there and done in less time than we were told. Price was as quoted, no hidden fees. I come from a family of retired auto mechanics (one went with me to bring and pick up the car). I am very happy with the service I received. I will take my car their again and would recommend Discount Tire to anyone.

This place is usually busy, luckily you can make an appointment online and get served relatively quickly. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, the manager has been at this location for a while and takes care of people.

I have to say my initial purchase I was unhappy with the service and tires that was put on my vehicle. After stopping in today, I am blown away by the AMAZING service I received from Xiong. We had a very pleasant conversation while I waited for the replacements. The mechanics also caught the sensor going out in the tire and replaced it for me. Id also like to express my gratitude to the manager (sorry I forgot your name), I appreciate the phone call and remedy of the situation! I will be returning to this location for tires in the future.

No customer service because theyre too busy to pick up the phone. They told me Ill have my car by 5 but didnt have it ready until 7pm. They wouldnt even wait for me to pick it up because they were going home already. They didnt reset my tire sensor either. Never going there again!!

Absolute terrible customer service. Not even worth the “discount”. I asked numerous times what was wrong with my tire and why I needed it completely replaced. He refused and said they don’t check they just change out the tires. Get some mfn customer service skills when dealing people! So gross.

I ordered and paid for my tires online, then received an email the next day to inform me that they were discontinued. But that wasnt the problem I had with this place. I called to talk to the person, Alexander, who sent me this email. After I told him that I wanted a refund instead of choosing different tires with them, he was very pushy, rude, and condescending. I had to say 4 separate times that I just wanted a refund. After the 4th time I told him that I just want a refund, he said ok Ill refund it. Bye, and hung up on me. I understand trying to retain the sale, but I did find tires for a better deal elsewhere, and now I will never be a customer of Discount Tire.

Damaged all 4 of my wheels and cannot get the manager or anyone from the store to return my calls!!!!!!I purchased a set of snow tires recently. After being advised by the sales person to wait until their Black Friday sale, i placed my order. They advised my tires would arrive in 3-5 days. After waiting 5 days, I called inquiring about my tires. They said no problem-they were on their way. The following day I got a call that they were no longer available and that basically no snow tires were available in my size. Evidently I had waited too long (at the recommendation of their sales person). So I ended up biting the bullet and ordering Michelin’s rather than the coopers I wanted. Went from $400 to 900$. I figured there was nothing I could do about it so I just accepted that id have to spend more than twice as much as I had planned.After ordering the tires, I brought my winter wheels in (off the car) to have the tires mounted. I left them there, as they didn’t have any appointments available. I received a call from the store a few hours later advising my wheels/tires were done.When I arrived to have them mounted to my car, I was advised I would have to wait 4+ hours to get the wheel installed (even though we had discussed them installing when I left the wheels with them). So, rather than waiting 4+ hours, I loaded up the tires/wheels and headed home to install them on my own (no discount for finishing their work). Upon getting home with the wheels, I realized their tech had DAMAGED ALL 4 of my wheels. They clamped on the barrel of the wheel, used a chisel or a flat blade screwdriver and a hammer to remove the old stick on weights. This resulted in huge gouges all over the wheel. Not one, but all 4. Upon closer examination, I also found that they damaged the lip of the rim on two wheels with their tire spoon and scuffed the face of all 4 when they mounted to the balancing machine. I brought them back to the store and they said they could grind them down and apply touch up paint. I told them that the wheels were not damaged when I brought them in and that applying touch up paint was not an acceptable level of repair. They were busy, and the manager advised they’d call ASAP with a resolution. That was a week ago. I’ve called 3-5 times and still no resolution. I cannot get the manager Danny or the associate that helped me, Joe, to call me back with a resolution.Completely unacceptable. Still waiting for a resumption to the damage discount did to my wheels!
