My wife has zero faith in any new auto repair place. It takes so much to gain her trust. After the stellar treatment from Shur-Way on an old, but serviceable car, they have earned her trust and thats saying a lot!

My experience was not as pleasant as the rest of the reviews. To start off, the people seemed friendly and easy to deal with. I had a small fender dent to fix with a few minor repairs. Got my estimate which was comparable to the rest of the estimates but I was told it would take 2 day. Having to borrow a car, I was able to drop off the vehicle and was expecting it back in 2 maybe 3 day at the most.The vehicle was scheduled to be dropped off on a Sunday so they could start Monday. By Wednesday afternoon, I had to call and find out what the status was seeing it was a day late and I did not have a car after that day so it was a bit frustrating. I was told it might be done Thursday. Then I called and was told it might be done Friday. Then told again it might be done Monday. I received a call from the friendly receptionist at 5:00pm Monday evening and was told to pick it up. Throughout the wonderful experience I felt I was getting blown off more than getting my vehicle fixed. They did get the car fixed and it looked fine but with a scheduled drop off day and a full week, I would expect anyone to have it looking superb. If I would have got a sorry for your inconvenience or at least an acknowledgement of the delay, I think I would have wrote a better review.

They did an OK job on an insurance claim. The car had to go back and be worked on a second time after not being done right the first time. They were more than willing to correct everything no question. It did take quite a long time to be completed.

I brought in my Pontiac Grand AM GT in after I was rear ended entering St. Louis on a cross country road trip. Mike and Chris helped put my rear bumper back in place to get me back on my road trip. I really really appreciate it! I have full confidence they would be an excellent shop for full repairs had I been able to stay in St. Louis for more than 1 night. Thanks again guys!

I have used Shur-Way for all auto body and collision repair work for almost 20 years. Regardless of whether the work needed is small (small dent repair) or a major collision damage.... I wouldnt trust my vehicle with any other shop.This is a family owned business, which means a lot. WHY? Because they care about the customer and take a lot of pride in their work. And they REMEMBER you. When I called about my recent collision due to winter ice, I referenced the major repair they did 18 years prior on very first car. Quinn said It was midnight blue, wasnt it? He then began reciting back to me what he remembered fixing on that car. Call me crazy, but that is really extraordinary and offers piece of mind that your current vehicle is in great hands. (Note: this was on a Sunday night. I sent a FB message to Shur-way asking someone call me asap. Instead of just waiting til normal business hours the next day, Quinn called me a few minutes later).For my latest repair, I was truly worried that the car would never be the same and it drives beautifully. There were no short cuts, no cost saving tactics, no rushing. They stayed in communication, took the time needed to get every new part and conduct all the necessary suspension work and made her perfect again.I couldnt be happier and while I hope its a long time before I need any auto body/collision work done again.... youd better believe the only place Ill go is Shur-Way.Leana, Quinn and the rest of the Shur-Way team..... Excellent repair to my car after am accident - they worked quickly with my insurance and got the work done fast. It looked brand new! Service team is always responsive and polite, and the office dog is sweet.

I had a good experience at the shop. I accidentally scratched my car. It was not very severe, but the paint was scratched off at the edge of a rear door. My car is relatively new so I wanted to repair it. I took it to Shur Way for an estimate (it is free). The estimate was higher than my budget, but Mike offered to do some paint work on my car for FREE! I couldnt believe it at first. Although it was not perfect considering it was free, it made my car look nice. I am very happy and satisfied. I really appreciate Mike for his kindness!

My BMW 650i was involved in a hit and run that left the rear drivers side deeply scratched. Im very meticulous about the way my car looks and runs, and it was driving me crazy to look at. I decided on Shur Way after reading online reviews and a personal recommendation from an Enterprise employee who regularly deals with body shops.It was a good recommendation. The staff is courteous and professional. The owner reduced the estimate just to earn my business as a first time customer (which really made an impression on me). The work was done within two days and looks brand new.The only slight hiccup in the entire experience was a sensor reset to the parking detection control which occurred during the repair. I brought it to their attention, and they immediately scheduled another appointment with me and fixed the problem. (Higher end cars can be pretty sensitive, so I understood these things can happen.)Overall a very good experience at a very competitive price.

The body work we got done by Shur-Way Auto Body was done with excellence. This was work done on our work van which was very important to us to have it look great. The van looks great. Mike even touched up a few small rust spots around the doors with some stuff to prevent the rust from getting any worse. Mike and all his office staff including the receptionist LeAnn was very friendly. They have good prices too. They all definitely know what they are doing. I highly recommend Shur-Way Auto Body in Maplewood, MO for all you vehicle body work. You will be glad you did!

I would not reccomend these guys to anyone. It took them more than a month and a half to do what is considered a 9 day job. I had explained that I had no rental car so if they were too busy to get started right away to say so, but they told me what I wanted to hear, secured my insurance payment and then jerked me around for about 6 weeks. I had been thinking about doing some customizations to my vehicle with some aftermarket parts so I figured it made sense to go ahead and do that while they had it but they refused to accomodate any of my requests even though my insurance adjuster had said it was my call. And to top it off they lost several of the spoke pieces (that cost $20/a piece) that go to the centercaps of my rims and didnt even take responsibility for it. When it was all said and done they charged my insurance double the original estimate which, in turn, more than doubled my insurance rate. Go somewhere else!!
