I came in on a rainy day, asked an employee if they had anymore number 3 inflatable balloons. Told me he can check, so I waited, after a good minute, I see him doing something else. So I decided to leave without any purchase. Ended up going to a different destination for party supplies.

Good selection and a clean store but the 2 employees there had no idea what they were doing most the time. It took me over an hour to get a dozen +2 mylars and this was with only one person ahead of me. Seems at Party city if you come in after a customer who is waiting for the staff to finish your order that they are currently working on NO PROB we will stop their order because he is not as important as anyone else that came in 40 min after he did. so you can get to a VIP birthday

Ive been to two different stores to get what I needed. Both sores shelves were sparse. Workers were helpful.

I was disappointed with the lack of customer service. Employees were more concerned about hand sanitizer being spilled on the counter than what I wanted . When the person who assisted me did so she had good skills but talked fast. Her colleagues kept interrupting.

It was clean and employees were amazing.

While nice enough, the employees arent the best at customer service. It seems as if they dont care one way or another.

I love that store everything I needed was there except balloon Elephants 🤣🤣🤣🤣, but that was ok no problem!.

Terrible balloon service!!! I called ahead and when I got there I want helped for at least 15 minutes!! And two of my balloons popped in the car :( very disappointed in the services this store has to offer.

They have a TON of out of stock balloons at 2 different locations yet have them displayed as available. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

Great costumes

Do not shop at this location!!! The staff is rude and not helpful. I ordered balloons a month and a half in store for my daughters graduation. When my husband picked up over half of them were missing. Over 50 dollars of my 170 dollar order was not there. When I called the store to ask I was put on hold and talked to 4 different people!!! None which were helpful. The best response I got was OH No!!! While I was in store all the employees complained and one was talking about how he was going to work at cub as the establishment sucked. No leadership in store with employees that dont care. I will never shop the Maplewood location again if I ever shop another party city again. Also just a helpful hint dont shop in store as the online prices are way cheaper. When I asked why the store said I paid extra for in store because it has to be sent to the store. I did online order pick up instore. How does that make sense I could continue to write but long post do no good. Do NOT Shop here. Would give zero stars if I could!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big store! Nice selection to choose from. Much nicer staff at this location. However, I noticed several signs saying they were out of helium. The staff was on the phone explaining that they couldn’t help them because they were out of helium. I asked the girl why they were out and she just said it’s been very popular lately. Well yeah it’s graduation season I said. I also asked her why they can’t just pull helium tanks from the shelves to accommodate customers. She said it wasn’t company policy. I would’ve done that to save me from losing customers! Party city should be more aware that it’s graduation and wedding season! You’d think they’d be more prepared when ordering helium! Not to mention the balloons they sell are just plain HUGE!!! All dollar stores etc have plenty of helium! Party city just doesn’t plan well!

Great staff and very clean place

I went to Party City thinking that they would have a long roll of wrapping paper for a baby gate. But they did not have very much to choose from in standard size rolls, let alone ANY larger rolls. They had 2 boy gender rolls and 1 either orNot even any strictly girl paper. But, in all fairness, they appeared to be low on everything. I must have been there right after a big sale. (Im guessing)

Loud customers (which the store cant really help) but they are under staffed so it makes running in quick to grab a few cards unpleasant. On the plus side, they do offer a nice assortment of cards.

We stopped there for birthday party supplies for my sons party. We were looking for Sesame Street decorations and were unable to find them. A worker overheard us talking about it and told us EXACTLY where to look (aisle, left side, halfway down) which was SO helpful. They had everything I wanted which made it a quick and easy one stop.We had Dan at checkout and he was so kind and helpful, it just made my whole experience a positive one.I had browsed the same products online and Party Citys prices were comparable and some were ever cheaper than on Amazon and other party sites!

The store was set up nice and it was easy to navigate. It was kinda messy though but thats to be expected around Halloween... Everything was pretty expensive. The costume make up was almost double spirit Halloweens make up prices! Complaints aside the store has everything youd need for any party.

I liked that I was greated with an enthusiastic welcome to the party! The store had a good variety and selection. I was in and out quickly.

Bought 4 sympathy cards that were in the aisle for $0.99 and I got up there and they charged me $8 they had regular price cards where are the dollar cards were and I was a little upset

Great store. Had party supplies with pretty much any theme you could desire. Way better selection than almost any other party store Ive been in.

Very friendly place. Walked in and was immediately greeted by staff, as well as everyone else who walked in after me. I needed a balloon for my sons birthday and Adam was very helpful. Helped me pick out the perfect accent balloons to match, and even suggested ways to keep them looking perfect until the party. Drove 20 mins to go to this specific store since Ive always had good luck here and great service! Thank you again, Adam!

Best help Ive had in a store. We couldnt find the Halloween costume my daughter wanted and a nice employee walked over right away asking if we needed help, we were disappointed when they were out in her size so she checked the back just in case the inventory was off and they found one in her size. Everybodys day was made and walked away completely happy. Store was clean. Merchandise was hung neatly and for the most part where it should be, thank you

Crappiest customer service! Went to buy a few things for a birthday party and stood in line, in a almost empty store with less then 5 customers and the cashier who was taking a call couldn’t even ring us up. Stood there waiting for 8-9 minutes and she did not ask anyone to come ring but when another phone call came in she called someone else to take that call still not acknowledging us standing there waiting to be rung up. Seeing that she was taking her sweet time I put my things back to leave the store and another lady went to stand in line, as I got in my car that lady Behind us got rung up and walked out.

The store attendants were very helpful help me find it and do what I needed also very accommodating and letting me borrow the scissors to quickly wrap a present in my car. Thanks for all your extra help!!

They have a pretty good selection and prices are ok. The staff at checkout was slow, I waited in line for about 10 min. They finally called for back up but, by then, everyone had already checked out.

This Halloween city is absolutely amaizing. The staff is super friendly. Selina has helped me a ton! Astera is always very helpful and helped me get some animatronics! Gage has done a wonderful job setting up the displays making me want to buy EVERYTHING!!! These guys are wonderful and you should definitely swing in for your Halloween needs.

Good place to grab family supply for birthday event. Disappointed that when I bought balloons and staff asked if I want bag for my balloons. I said yes. I was charged 1.00 for the bag. It would be nice to alert customers that bag are charged 1.00 extra.

Used to be a good place to find inexpensive greeting cards. Prices went up by about 4X. Probably wont go back.

Terrible service. Felt like I was inconveniencing staff by attempting to order balloons. Helium balloons were dragging on the floor within hours of purchasing. Will not be back.

I want for Valentines and treats for my daughters kindergarten class and I found just what I needed. And they werent any more expensive than going to Target or Walmart. 😊

Awesome clearance costume section after Halloween.

It has a good selection. Its a bit difficult to navigate because things seem to be in multiple places. I was looking for small gift bags and there were some in the bridal section, the clearance section and in the party section, arranged by color. There wasnt anyone in the aisles to ask for help. There appeared to be two people working, one was helping a customer with ballons and the other was at the register. The store was a little disorganized. Items were in the wrong places, making it difficult to determine their price or if there were more or if there were different colors. Its frustrating if you find something, its in the wrong place (which you dont know) and you think its one price, only to find its not that price. I really would love price check scanners so that I can determine the price or perhaps an app or in-store program to tell you which aisle to look, like Home Depot.

I shop here for party supplies and balloons. There is a also a large selection of Halloween costumes for the kids during October. Its a clean store the staff is always friendly. Usually it is not busy here.

Need to update there website I Had to Uber 1 hour to get to this place and the lady got an attitude with me when I told her about the times on their page they need better customer service! And Uber was about 40$ very inconvenient for me as I don’t make a lot of money!

They were out of helium for balloons! We were told we could buy a tank for $30. How about you open up one of the 100 individual tanks you are trying to sell for filling balloons? Kids were greatly disappointed for their party.
