Great for a late night ice cream date! The wachos & the quarter ice cream sandwich were absolutely delicious. The waffles were light and crispy, they didn’t get soggy, and there were plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from. I will definitely be coming back!

Killer Ice Cream. The tiger king was extremely good, looks can be deceiving. Also had a chocolate waffle bowl with cookies n cream, um. We will definitely be back. An extra bonus with the ice cream are a couple of pinball machines, entertainment and dessert. A awesome place.

This place was so cute! A very nice date spot or family outing! I loved they had all different types of seating including some tables outside. There is a cute little gazebo across from the place that has a sitting area also. We parked in the Schnucks parking lot which was easier because the street was packed. So now about the Ice cream they have two types we opted for regular and CBD infused. The tiger king is absolutely DELICIOUS and the number one seller. I can’t wait to go back and try the others especially the SuperMan. The CBD Infused Ice-cream was amazing and definitely had the husbae relaxed. I loved the rich syrup options as toppings. They also had a liquor portion and that could be added to your Icecream as well. This place definitely hits the mark for unique flavors not found anywhere along with a unique experience. I cannot wait to come back and try their many other flavors. I’ll also add the staff was super patient and friendly especially with us being first timers. We sat outside and the ambiance was perfect. Date day ended perfectly thank you BoardWalk we will be back with the family next time

Where Im from we dont have a boardwalk waffles and ice cream. Best since Ive been in St Louis one of my favorite spots to take the family. They they have a nice selection of flavors and if you want you can ask for a sampler to try it before you buy it. I give this place a thumbs up and will be back

This was some of the best ice cream I’ve had. I tried the one with CBD and it was great! Then we tried the wachos which although too much for one person THEY WERE FREAKING AMAZING! Their waffles are soooo fluffy and warm and the atmosphere is so fun and vibrant...Also the all inclusive bathroom was lovely to see

Wonderful nice inside friendly workers, and the wafers are freshly made with samples of ice cream to choose from. A great place to sit and eat and treat yourself. Even have name brand merchandise to sell.

This place has delicious ice cream and am outstanding vibe. The fresh waffles are amazing and flavors are awesome and creative. Its a big space with some point ball machinesand some cool memorabilia from the Jersey shore hanging around.

I went to their smaller location in July but wasnt prepared for the upgrade when I stepped into their new location! Its very well decorated, feels like youve stepped into an ice cream spot right off the beach. Plus, the choices are amazing. I had the blueberry and chocolate waffle cone ice cream in a chocolate waffle bowl and drizzled caramel and chocolate sauce on top and I was not disappointed! They have Covid-19 measures in place, and I spied a stage...just know if I get wind of a karaoke night post-Covid, Im there. 😂

The waffles and ice cream flavors are great 4/5. The overall presentation is what gets it to that next level. The lights, classic arcade machines, and colors all pop to create a great environment. Plus tonight the live music by TBO a one man act was great talented and fun going across an awesome collection of rock and alternative songs I wished he had a tip jar so I could leave him something but didnt see one so just going to highlight him in this review!

The Boardwalk Waffle and Ice Cream was great. We were greeted right away. The person was very helpful and guided us. This was our first time. We enjoyed it.

Friendly staff, unique ice cream flavors! I chose to get a chocolate waffle bowl with a scoop of Cobalt Cookie ice cream. Also had a whole waffle which I got on the side so it wouldnt get soggy from the ice cream (the waffles are crisp and airy). Would highly recommend this place for a family outing!

The ice cream and waffles were phenomenal. We tried the peanut butter explosion, Cookie Monster, Carmel overload and blackberry cobbler. All of them were fantastic. I had the peanut utter on my sandwich. The waffles were good perfectly, the outside crisp, inside light and fluffy. It’s a little hard to eat as an actual sandwich, they had utensils and extra sauce toppings easily available.The only thing we didn’t like was the live music at that time. His songs were fine and was a good guitar player. It was just to loud and hard to have conversation there. However that didn’t take away from how good the food was and how great the staff was.

Definitely something unexpected and wonderful! Went here expecting it to be any thing special, but to be blown away beyond all expectations! To start with, the atmosphere is very warm and open, with some soft, upbeat music. There are dividers around each of the tables, each one with hand sanitizer and napkins. The employers also take great pride in keeping it all clean and up to health safety standards. The employees have gone above and beyond as well. From walking in, they gave a warm welcoming, being very helpful with all the questions that we had, and explaining everything to us regarding the flavors and waffles. Now the ice cream is very delicious! We were able to sample the ice cream to see how each one is. But a good twist to the variety of ice cream that they offered, was that they sold CBD ice cream. My interest was peaked by the CBD ice cream, so I tried the extreme mint chocolate chip CBD, with a warning of an earthy taste cause of the CBD, but I couldnt taste it at all. With my CBD ice cream, I decided to try their fresh chocolate fluffy waffle, and to top it all off, they added powder sugar to it. When it was all put together, the appeal of my ice cream sandwich was visually inviting and delicious. I left fully satisfied, relaxed and in brighter spirits. I am definitely going back for the great ice cream and friendly service, from the Broadwalk Waffles & Ice Cream!

Very cool place! The live music was good and not too loud! Delicious food with a cool, unusual premise and friendly service! Very fun atmosphere. Feels like more of a nostalgic place for adults rather than a place that caters particularly/specifically to children, but kids would be comfortable and entertained by the old-school pinball and video games and ice cream (as long as their guardians are comfortable with the kids being around some folks having CBD-infused ice cream.) We went here for dessert on a date night and had a good time. Well be back!

Wonderful idea, combining ice cream and a thick, fresh waffle! Watch as they pour the batter and make the waffle fresh right before your eyes. The ice cream is small batch and hand made -- delightful -- in about 15 variety. UPDATE: new location on Manchester and Sutton is three times the size, plenty of indoor seating, and they even had live music. Waffles remain awesome.

I think this place is fantastic (in the taste category). What we had was really good. However, RUDE staff member on the day we went. We had not been there before and even though not one other person was in the store (besides a nice young employee) the woman helping us rushed us to make our decisions and was just downright rude in her manner of speech and customer service. The other young gentleman working there even gave us a sympathetic look when hearing her talk to us the way she did. So I might go back but if I see her through the window again I will skip it. Maybe if she ate some more of their delicious goodies she would have better mojo!In response to the owners comment below, our visit was the Maplewood location on Monday, August 30th, 2021

Ice cream is tasty and the flavors are fun and original. The CBD flavors are good and effective, definitely worth trying at least once. A bit expensive but the amount of ice cream you get is worth it. We have only ever gotten carry out during the pandemic so the waffles are never crisp( that is our own fault) but they taste good every time.The space with which to see the products and order, coupled with the volume of the music (whether live or stereo), creates a pretty stressful environment if you arent 100% certain what you want or have been there before. On our most recent visit, our second, multiple customers came behind us and next to us while the staff just kind of tapped their foot waiting for us to be ready. Nobody told us to take our time or asked the other customers to wait a certain distance away while we decided. We just kind of rushed our order to get out of the way so that we werent surrounded and feeling like we were holding up the line.Having said that, dont let it deter you from ordering from here. It may just be our social and pandemic anxiety! If you feel a certain kind of way about our experience I believe they offer online ordering and delivery to skip the line.

Came here for a Uber eats delivery tonight august 28. The girl with long curly blonde highlighted hair was so rude. She didn’t believe I had the pick up. I’ve done many many orders and never been treated this way. I was so appalled. If I could give her no stars for her horrible customer service I would.

Loved it way better than i thought. Went on my Bday, and it was the perfect size and the flavor was amazing together.. Also had a good CBD strawberry ice cream.. Atmosphere was like a Boardwalk. Long line moves faster than it looks.. Fyi

The CBD ice cream they offer is just out of this world! I am not a huge ice cream fan in general, so in order to like it it actually has to be extremely good. I will be back for sure! Yum!!!

The one star is only for the portion size. Ordered a salted caramel milkshake 24oz. Let me just say they did not blend my milkshake all the way. Big chunks of ice cream and the mini chocolate caramel pieces weren’t mixed at all. They all settled at the bottom. The flavoring of the ice cream itself was a let down. It tasted like vanilla ice cream. No caramel whatsoever. I won’t be coming back and will tell people I know not to waste their time.

Cutest ice cream shop ever! The waffle ice cream sandwiches are obviously delicious as its what they are known for. But you must try their savory brunch waffles! We did the spicy mexican chorizo one and it was a~mazing! A hefty portion of chorizo, and the spicy maple syrup on top was a nice twist.

Walking in Boardwalk Waffles & Ice Cream I immediately smell what I recognize to be heaven on Earth. The smell is immediately comforting - the space small as sin - gunshot style with no tables just small wall mounted benches.You will notice upon entry the space is awkward - you place your order at the opposite end but pay by the entry door. On my visit, everything was clean and tidy. All that aside, it is ambitious to pound out tasty treats in such a tight spot but believe you me its happening and its happening in the most amazing fashion.All of the monthly rotating ice cream flavors are made by a local favorite, Serendipity Ice Cream. I love that there are several portion options so wether you come in solo or with a gang of people, everyone has the chance to try and share. The most perplexing choice was trying to find the appropriate ice cream. Both of the gentleman working the counter said the Gooey Butter was their favorite. I did try it but I wanted something that gave me the idea of syrup and crunch like I had toppings on a waffle; the Butter Pecan more than delivered.I am a powdered sugar freak, so I had to get extra extra extra and then asked for more! The waffle was fluffy and light with a mild butteriness & just delicious. I wouldve never thought twice about pairing these two things together. Impressed, satisfied and elated are just a few words to sum up how I was feeling when the deed was done.Hells yeah I recommend you come here - and expeditiously at that! The weather is at that perfect stage to enjoy ice cream treats, Cardinals games and breezy nights. Service was great and friendly and very willing to answer all my questions. They even gave me the run down on a new breakfast line-up thats about to start. We tried Boardwalk Waffles for a to-go order on Ice Cream for Breakfast Day (Feb 6) and it was super scrumptious. It was a good value (for what Serendipity Ice Cream cost). I had the Gooey Butter ice cream with their special espresso flavored waffles. (In case those worried the espresso would have a flecks of coffee bean [Italian style], worry not as its a syrup.)

Amazing! I had a quarter waffle with black walnut ice cream (2 quarters made into an ice cream sandwich). The waffle is still warm, so its heavenly. Very friendly and helpful. They also have regular waffle cones if you prefer that. I will be taking the grandchildren here soon. Lots of seating inside and outside.
