Great music store, excellent customer service. I purchased an electric Gephard guitar for my self and am very happy with the over all process. Nice and helpful sales people, and. very fun atmosphere. After going to other guitar stores and the sales people try to sell me $1,000+ guitar I am very happy worth this experience. I will recommend you to all my friends. I will also be back for guitar music lessons.

The quality for the price is outstanding. My son is just starting violin and this is good quality while not breaking the bank. We tried to buy locally but after 2 people on offer up ghosting us, my husband said let’s buy new. But new here at a store front meant upwards of $600 for a 1/8th.I will buying again and again from Prince Music Company. Delivery was timely. And the customer service, well let’s just say that these are real people behind these instruments with real experience. They even helped me decide on what size to get without even needing to meet in person.Good quality instruments and people.

We came to Prince to purchase a violin for my daughter. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They fitted my daughter for her correct size and showed us a variety of violins that would work well for her. We feel we learned a lot from the visit and understand her instrument a lot better now. We will definitely be back.

My girls were taking lessons and they had about five lessons so far when we decided to quit. Three out of the five lessons, the store was closed when it was our lesson time. We had to call the number on the door to try and get someone to come and open. The last time we had lesson there, the music instructor was there waiting outside the store with us because he didnt have a key to enter. He even suggested for us to have the lesson at his house because he felt bad for us having to wait. We paid for the lessons ahead and they were constantly having their door closed. These people do not respect others time. I dont know how theyre able to keep in business when they love to keep their door closed. Ive since found someone who is way more reliable, professional and take their business seriously. Im a parent that have involved my kids into many activities and lessons from all over the twin cities. I dont usually give reviews but this time, I thought Ill do the public some justice by sharing my experience. I have not had this type of bad experience with other people besides this one. Good luck to anyone who will be taking lessons from this place.

Weve had our kids taking piano at Prince for a few months now and it has been a great experience. Theyve grown a lot musically. It is always amazing to see them learning and growing. People at Prince Music Company are very supportive, flexible with their class schedules if possible, classes are affordable. Its been a really good experience. Today I had my first flute class to retake the instrument after decades. I am excited to see where Ill go with their help.I see there are a couple of very bad reviews here. I am really skeptic to believe those experiences were truly as they paint it. Every coin has two sides and I am willing to bet that there is more to the stories there.If you are looking for music classes for your kids or for yourself, do not hesitate on giving them a try.

Purchased a used instrument from them off of Craigslist. Got a good price but took the instrument back to my instructor and she said the notes were not playing properly, plus the foot slid right off the body! Tried to call but they never answer their phone so I brought it in to get a refund and they said I couldn’t do that and insisted on fixing the instrument. Well they said they’re just giving me a different instrument all together and I came to pick it up a day after they said it would be ready and it was not even at the store yet. It’s a 30 minute drive and they know that so you’d think they would’ve told me it wasn’t ready. I finally get the new flute after two weeks of inconsistent communication. Overall it was a nightmare going back and forth to this place with very little communication. Update: my teacher played the second flute and it is unusable. Doesn’t play a wide range of notes. This is ridiculous, worst service I’ve had.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! I got a great deal trading in a used trumpet to put towards a beautiful, new saxophone and case. They have affordable instrument insurance plans, all of the accessories you could need for everything, cases, instruction books and also provide lessons.The best part is their extremely low prices! You wont find lower prices in town. My deal was so good that at the last minute I decided to add on a ukulele, case and instruction book and still ended up spending less than I thought I would for the saxophone alone!Park on Macys lower level at the Rosedale mall, walk through store to the mall and they are located immediately on your left. Check store hours ahead of time as they dont always coincide with regular mall hours on the weekends.

I walked into Prince music hoping to find a piano book. They did not have the one I was looking for so I asked the guy at the front counter about it. He said they could order it and offered me music lessons. I was like, music lessons? Im just trying to buy a book.He assured me that taking music lessons as an adult was very beneficial and since they have the lowest price guarantee on lessons, I decided to give it a try.Ive taken five lessons so far and I am very impressed with the atmosphere and my teacher. I wont mention his name for privacy but he is very skilled. They will honor competitors prices so I am keeping an eye out to see if I can find someone who is cheaper lol. So far they are the cheapest.

The people here are very knowledgeable and have a lot of patience for those who are new to their instruments. The new location is very nice and roomy. The prices are also very reasonable.

My GF wanted to learn to play the Violin as she already had one. So we looked around for a place that provided lessons, we stumbled on Prince Music Comp. at the time located in Rosedale Mall. (They have since re-located to 1789 Lexington N. 55113) We found the owner (Pika) Extremely helpful and their instructors (Michele & Carlos) very knowledgeable, the cost per lesson seemed in-line or even somewhat less than some other places we looked into. So we decided to sign up here at Prince. Come to find out Prince Music Lessons carries their Own line of Instruments, now how cool is that, and these Instruments seem to cost somewhat less other places! While its true they are smaller business (which we feel provides a more personable service) with currently only 2 locations, we found them to be every bit Experienced and Knowledgeable as the larger chains. Prince Music Company was my life saver! My daughter was falling behind in music class and had a huge final she needed to take. I purchased two music lessons from Pika, best decision I did. Pika was kind, patient, and explained the music so my daughter could understand. My daughter came home after a lesson and was so upset because she forgot the rhythm of the music she just worked on with Pika. We called Prince Music company 5 minutes before they closed, Pika answered and actually sat with my daughter on the phone for another 15 minutes to go over the music with her one last time. Pika is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for music lessons. By the way, my daughter went to Pika not knowing this piece of music and received a 75/80 on her final piece!!!!!!

They never seem to be open at the times they have listed on your website. The hours are also not posted on your door. I have yet to have made it in or interacted with anyone, but I am feeling less inclined to do so.
