Great friendly attentive staff. This a true gem of the keys. Great gym bathrooms are plenty and clean. They also have awesome apartment rentals if you dont have yacht or boat. They also have many activities, heated salt water pool. The sunsets are truly awe inspiring. A must vist.

This place has gone from gouging their clients with overpriced bottom jobs, that entail a light sanding and one coat of antifowl (was quoted at 2000 for this “service”) To no longer allowing any DIY work. I highly suggest if you are looking to do any work, look else where. 3D is an excellent alternative located a short 50 mile sail in stock island. They let you do EVERYTHING. And for South Florida their prices are reasonable.

I’ve been to allot of boat yards from NC to the Keys and this is one of the best. Brian and his crew are top notch and went the extra mile versus the hook and jerk allot of Travel Lift crews use. They’ve won my business anytime we’re in town and appreciate the customer first approach from Tony and team! Reminds me of how the keys were in the 80s!

Placed a reservation for a round trip lift from my trailer and into the beautiful Fla Keys waters, and then haul out and set back on my trailer for a trip back home to Ga. Rodney was extremely polite and professional. and offered a reasonable quote. Theyre storing my quad axle trailer for my 45 Sea Hunter while I am there as well! One stop reliable shopping!!

Under new ownership and management, so disregard any reviews prior to 2018. Mike and Sharon are the nicest, most helpful Ive met in 40 years of boating. Highly recommend. Blew a Zeus pod transmission seal, (which severely limits steerage), hauled me out on short notice, with all the help they could muster to assist me safely into the lift. Prices are within reason. Very helpful in locating parts and services. Most accommodating yard, Ive ever seen. Not your usual rude take it or leave it attitudes. Big shout out to Pete, Rodney and Brian as well. Located directly next to the Marathon West Marine store and short walk to food. Short Uber to everything else you need.

New management really stepped up to the plate. Highly recommend. 👍

The lady who answers the phone (possibly owner or manager is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!). Lacks professionalism, empathy and worst of all hangs up on you. Definitely do not call them for your needs. Look for a customer centric driven business. Shame on her and sad to see that she turns away potential clients. HORRIBLE will definitely report them to BBB as well.

The best news I have heard coming out of Marathon Boat Yard was that Mike and Sharon from Keys boat works are now managing it. I am thrilled as they are awesome. They have earned all my loyalty as a customer and now consider them friends. May God bless them in this new venture.

I posted a bad review about the service department. Since then, Marathon Boat Yard has changed ownership. The new owners had owned a boatyard on the Gulfside where I had a bottom job done. They were nice and treated us well. They did a good job. At this time I have a neutral opinion of the yard as I have not been by there but from past experience, I expect good things from them.

These folks are stand up. They do what they say, get jobs done on time and are fair with pricing.

Commercial boatyard. They know their business. They charge typical South Florida boatyard rates and do quality work. Heck of a bargain when taken together and in the Keys no less.

Good place. They wont let you do your own bottom. They wont let you stay on your boat on the hard. Overall friendly and attentive.

Bought a new 2801 parker. Great boat. Very knowledgeable staff. Easy closing.1st trip raised 2 sailfish and caught a handful of tuna. Could not be happier.

Parts dept is ok. Rhome the service manager is the worst. Charged over $100 and told me I needed A carb rebuild for another $150. Had bought the motor from them less than a year.. Just had a clogged jet which I did myself. Gave them a running motor and got back a motor with disconnected choke and loose frayed throttle cable. Very bad service dept looking to do unnecessary work.

Very dishonest business! They bill you for work not authorized. I am filing a law suit against them. I wouldn’t take my moped to these people !

My neighbor purchased a $50,000 new Cobia 22 from them. It needed minor warranty replacement of a wash down pump and he got a run around for a week. Nothing but excuses, delays and blames on the manufacturer. When he complained to the owner they finally replaced the pump. It took a week for a 30 min job. Terrible service. When he finally got the boat to the launch, both batteries were dead because the idiots in the service dept left the key switch on. Dont go near this place unless you want to get screwed!
