Was hopeful that this place would be a good local resource for building materials, but my experience was very disappointing. Some employees would work on pricing via email, while others said it was against company policy? Went to store and asked for pricing for two brands of windows in several series, and was called several days later to say that I couldnt request that much because it would take 3-4 days to get that information?? Very confusing. If you know exactly what you want, Im sure they can order it like any other store. If you want professional feedback while exploring pricing and options, I think youre better off looking somewhere else. Their claim that public is welcome seems like a stretch.I went hoping for a professional, local, and personal experience. I left feeling like I had time traveled to a 1995 hardware store that just connected to the internet two weeks ago. At least everyone seemed polite.

They have a sign that says the public is welcome, we went to see what they have because we are doing extensive renovation, but the displays are unimpressive and sparse. There are no prices on most things. The problem we had was that the person working there, stalked us through out the store but was not knowledgeable, friendly or helpful. He insulted us by telling us we obviously dont know what we were doing and to get a contractor. We were repeatedly told that they in fact dont deal with the public either. We did not feel welcome or important enough to be treated better. We took our money and went to Menards.

They had 16 ft. ranch pine trim, menards discontinued.
