When I got my glasses they said I could bring them back and get adjusted if I ever need to. Brought them in and took them up on the offer 1.5 years later and they were very friendly.Not the most efficient front desk, but after I waited a short while for my turn the people at the front desk were willing to answer all of my questions and even checked my insurance before I made my next appointment.
Went here to get new lenses for my glasses. I spoke to Tom told him what I wanted and asked how much it would cost me. He asked for my insurance info which I gave him. I then paid for replacement lenses which I was told he would be putting in the order for them that very day. A week later I received a phone call mentioning that I would need to pay $50 more because he misquoted me. Since then it has been almost a month and I have called multiple times checking on my order to see if they came in and have been told each time they are on their way. Today I called to find out the order was not put in and they will not put in an order for them unless I come in and pay $50 more dollars than I was quoted/paid.
I have been going to this Vision Associates for years. Dr Gambini is Absolutely Awesome. Shes easy going and you can ask her anything. Shes knowledgeable, professional and has great compassion.Today I had an associate named Laya help me with my glasses. I have never had someone that is so in tune to my needs. She went Above and beyond anyone else I have ever had when trying to find a frame. She was professional, personable and courteous through the whole thing. I Really hope she works there for a Long time!
Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Front desk is EXTREMELY rude and the people who work inside, rude. I will never come here again.
Been going here for many years! All family members too and have recommended to numerous friends and others. How many places will fix your glasses on the spot, even if you didnt buy them there? Lenses scratched? Frames didnt last? Take them back, warranty is unbelievable!!!! Wouldnt even consider going anywhere else. They work with insurances and make sure you get the best for your needs, money, and satisfaction. Nice when you see the same Drs for years in a place like this! A credit to them, the management, and customers. Like the song, I can see clearly now! Dr. Gambino referred me to Dr. Finn-Thompson who fixed both eyes! No more cataracts!

I had an appointment and arrived on time. I brought my emotional support animal [toy poodle] with me who is 4.5 pounds and in an animal carrier. The woman who greeted me at the door was disrespectful and rude about my bringing my emotional support animal into the appointment. I am appalled and will not return to this establishment.
I have been going here to 20 plus years. Very unhappy with last service. New lenses cost me $474.00 and just handed me glasses...No customer service. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Love this place normally but especially now. They have C19 process down. Had an eye exam today and I was very reassured by the adapted environment—there was only 1 other patient there at the same time as me and the staff were able to function as usual but with our safety—and theirs—very much addressed. Highly recommend always but especially now!
The eye doctor is amazing. Attentive and thoughtful. When the glasses arrived, the optition was fantastic. I have restricted mobility. Its 8 oclock and dark. The lady comes out (Laurie) if memory serves. Fits me while I sit in the car. Fits me perfectly; perfectly.Six Stars would have been better, but what a high class services after great medical advice. The staff at Vision Sssociates are some of the most compassionate, generous, and kind people I have met. I did not buy my glasses from them, but they were still willing to adjust my glasses frames. And they did an amazing job! This place is top notch!
Very unorganized. I was told to call from my car when I showed up for my appointment, that someone would be out to get my son for his exam when they were ready. I called. Answering machine. Left message. Waited for a call back. No call back. Finally I approach 2 women sitting outside who inform me they dont listen to answering machine messages until the end of the day. Why instruct patients to call if you arent going to answer the phone?A few weeks prior I left a message in regards to ordering contacts. I had to call again a few days later and leave ANOTHER message and finally someone called back. Needless to say I will be requesting all of our records after todays visit.
Dr. Sleight and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable! They have frames ranging from Tiffany to Oakley, Ted Bakers to Ray Bans. Its located right on Main Street where it convenient to stop by in the middle of your day of errands. Youll be happy you stopped by for a visit! :)

This is the best overall optometry care I have experienced. From the eye appointment to assess vision to the purchase and fitting of my eyeglasses, Vision Associates was thorough, professional, and accurate. I completely agree with the other reviewers who said that this practice puts their customers first!
My first time going to Vision associates was last year. I was very pleased with the three pairs of glasses I got. Mr Bruce was especially accommodating and went above and beyond what I had been used to.I am thrilled to know they do such a great job and are out to pleaseI will be going back again to replace lost sunglasses.

I and my family have been patients / customers for many many years and wouldnt consider going elsewhere. Dr. Sleight is terrific, shes never failed to spend the extra time it takes to deal with my difficult presciption and other needs. Their policy is simple: if youre our customer, we take care of you. No gimmicks, no coupons, no chain store games, just solid professional service.
My wife and I have been going to Vision Associates for a few years after having gone to several different eye care providers over the past 20+ years, and VA is by far the best weve been to. The team of people here (and they are a *team*) are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and they put you, the customer, first. We went in today shortly before they were closing (on a holiday weekend no less) and they could not have been more polite and accommodating while I picked up a contact lens prescription, and my wife picked out a pair of sunglasses (Maui Jim) and had them properly fitted. We will be customers here for many years I am sure, and I highly recommend Vision Associates to anyone in the Central Mass area needing high quality eye care provided by a high quality staff.

WAS going to be a new patient but I didnt even get that far...I walk in and they tell me Dr. is out until September and that they had tried to call me. I received no calls, or voicemail, so they look and see my appointment was never made?? Kindly asked me if I would like to re-schedule, denied their offer without hesitation and walked out. What a waste of time, I will not be back.
My first visit to Vision Associates was excellent! I met Dr Oldham and he was very personable and my eye appointment went much faster than I anticipated. All the receptionist were all very nice and I would recommend Vision Associates to others in the Marlboro area.
Great optometrists and opticians. I have been goin got them for nearly 9 years after being disgusted by the level of service at the many I went to in worcester. They will work with you to get the right glasses for you without the up-selling of the chain stores.
We were recommended by a friend as my teenage son wanted to move to contacts for hockey. The doctors and staff were so great our whole family now goes there.

This place does great eye exams, very professional in that regard.I made the mistake of purchasing eye glasses through them and am not happy.Purchased prescription Oakley sunglasses, I paid $245.00 for these and this was after a $200.00 insurance discount, so the full value of these glasses is $445.00. With glasses this expensive, I asked do they come with a hard shell case, this was very important to me, and I was told “absolutely”. Anyway I just picked them up and they come in a flimsy little cloth sack, I said where is the hard shell case, “they don’t come with a hard shell case, that’s about $30.00 extra. I would have ordered the case if I had known this, an extra $30.00 is nothing if it protects $445.00 glasses.Now I’m stuck with this bag that the glasses bairly fit into and offer no protection. How am I supposed Cary these in a bag without having them get crushed ?? And if I drop the bag, there not protected. I don’t know how I’m going to carry these around in a flimsy bag without them getting crushed or destroyed. I feel really let down. Very frustrating.This story gets even better.... when I asked them about getting an Oakley case, they said that they didn’t have them in stock and that I would need to order them for $30.00. I got back to work and decided to call them and let them know that I was promised the case and I expected them to order and pay for the case.They put me on hold, and then came back on the line and told me that I was right, I was supposed to get the Oakley case with my glasses. Then the woman told me that she had the case and she would leave it at the counter for me to pick up. I found this amazing, because when I was there they were insistent that they did not have these cases in stock and I would need to order it and pay $30 . I picked up the case, and the glasses don’t fit properly in the case. I find this chain of events amazing, it appears they have no management at this place. Always helpful, punctual, caring and courteous. Been going here since the 80s with Dr. Grossman and upon his retirement switched to Dr. Barsamian. Rick is a great Optician who is helpful and knows his stuff! Our options are explained well and we feel they are always looking out for what is in our best interest.
In over 25 years Vision Associates has never let me down, I highly recommend them.

Everything is bad except customer service ! Here are the facts only:Eye exam was not done correctly and the prescription was changed after two week while I picked up the glasses.Glasses are still not good, I am using my old one most of the time.I paid full amount $199.00 at the day of exam, but Vision associates billed me for the balance of $89. According to them I only paid $100 in advance. While I showed my credit card statement, they agreed, but their book state total bill was for $189.00.Upon indicating why they charged me $199.00 instead of $199.00 they are now refunding me $10.00Does this show that their acts are not together from the optometrist to the billing.

Well for those who gave a bad review, you must of gone to the wrong place. Because Ive lived in town for 33 years, since I was 4. Been going to Vision Associates, admittingly not all the time but for the last 10 years straight. Always great friendly service, even with my picky Ness of finding glasses. Been going there for years. Tried to make an appointment for very blurry vision and the women (Simone) first drilled me about my insurance, then couldnt see me for weeks. Worse customer relations in the world! I wouldnt go back there if my life depended on it
