Rude salesman kept having to try and track him down when I had questions. Tried to low-ball me on my trade in stating they would just junk it. In the current used car market I highly doubt it. If he had only been more professional and given me a decent amount for my trade in he wouldve sold a vehicle and gotten some commission today because I was very ready to buy. Will not be returning and highly recommend that you do not go here.

After dealing with Fox Motor in Negaunee I went to Riverside Auto Mall and they were able to get me approved. They made the process easy. Well I know for sure that I will never give any business to this place. There is an employee who works here that often comes to the grocery store that I work. One day he decided to, either jokingly or not call me bubba. Ive been overweight since I was a kid and that really hurt my feelings. I tried getting over it but now every time he comes in he completely ignores me and asks someone else, sometimes people from completely different departments to help instead. Real professional to treat someone who is risking their life at this point like that.
Purchased a pre owned Honda HR-V from Jordan Musser. Jordan and Kurt were wonderful from start to finish. They were friendly and professional. I was slightly dissatisfied with the detailing department but after speaking with Jordan and the GM the issue was resolved! Overall a good experience!

Disappointed would be the key words that describe my experience with Riverside. I have purchased 2 cars through Riverside. My first car was fine, but my second car has been a disappointment. They are not open on Saturdays so it makes it difficult to get in. And I would not purchase the rust protection since they do not stand by it unless you can make it in so disappointment.

Erick was very helpful in the whole sale from putting me into a car that fit my budget too the color and options I was looking for in my auto. When my auto was ready for pickup the auto was in the showroom in showroom condition, it was nice not sitting outside in the winter while Erick explained in detail all the functions, options of my new car a second time just to make sure I new all the options and how to use them. My husband and I have purchased many vehicles over the years and I can truly say this was the best and easiest new car purchase experience Ive had. Had $11k in damages to the front of a Lexus due to a deer accident. Had car towed 50 miles to Riverside in Marquette. Chose them as there are no Lexus dealers in the UP.Workmanship completed was very good. I have had the car back over a month and no problems have arisen.One caveat: The work took an inordinate amount of time, even for being finished in the UP. Some of this was due to problems attributable to my insurance company; some due to the company who shipped first, wrong and then second, defective parts to Riverside; and lastly due to Riverside itself.Final resolution was achieved only after involving the general mgr, Mr Tim Dawson, who was thorough, professional and prompt.

The employees in service don’t know what is going on. I scheduled a recall repair for my Corolla. Had to reschedule it because they didn’t actually have time to do it for the original date/time. I then drove 2hrs to make the appointment at 8:30am. Once I got there they said “the ONLY technician they have to work on Toyota vehicles is out today and someone was supposed to call you and reschedule the appointment.”This is terrible on so many levels. First the terrible customer service; they knew I lived 2hrs away but didn’t bother to call me ahead of time to reschedule. I had even called the day before, just before they closed, to confirm the appointment. And second they only have ONE Toyota authorized technician?! They are a Toyota dealership! I am blown away at the this terrible experience.I certainly won’t bother trying to have them do anything for me again.
Did not listen to what we wanted. Ended up test driving a 2018 pilot but we were interested in the 2019. My husband got a call from the salesman to check in. My husband told he would call him back a different day. Instead of waiting the salesman call back the very next day. Awful Trade in amount for my suv. We are getting a Subaru!

Sean is a shady salesman. Full of lies and typical salesman tricks. That made the car buying unpleasant. Thats a whole different story. My main issue at the moment is, I payed for new plates fulfilled my end and now here I am several weeks later with a expired dealership temp plate and no permanent plate. I call riverside and they pushed the blame to secretary of state and told us to keep driving. Im disgusted if I get a ticket riverside will pay for it and I will sue. Im so sick of the shady business practices of the UP. I refuse to ever buy a car or major purchase here again. Riverside is a sham operation trying to milk the public without providing good service. Just as bad if not worse than fox. Atleast fox will fill your gas tank after they lie and rob you. Overall Im pretty disgusted. With these kinds of purchases they should treat us alot better.
Very poor assistance. Took car in over oil light and trouble light on. The owners manual said if the red trouble light came on seek immediate service. I paid them $60 and they couldnt find what was wrong and advised me to go ahead and drive it. They did turn off the oil light but the red trouble light stayed on.A couple days later the oil light came on again. My son checked the oil and it was extremely low, barely on the tip of the dip stick. He added oil and viola, the red trouble light went off.I realize allowing the oil to get so low was my fault. What I dont understand is why the Riverside mechanics would look at a car with both those lights and not bother to check the oil. The OIL LIGHT WAS ON!To make matters worse when I asked if he was sure it would be OK to drive the car the mechanic got clearly impatient. Later when my six-two body builder son went in to pay and pick up the keys he was treated with patience and respect. I suppose a sixty something women is not worth their bother.But the bottom line is if I had trusted them I probably would have blown my engine.
Had to find a new car after my Oldsmobile bit the dust. Cesar helped ease the loss of my old car. It took a few days of test driving, but we found the right car at the right price for me. Ive had my Toyota Corolla for a few days now and Im loving it so far!

I bought my GMC from Sean in June. It was a quick purchase. I saw it online on Sunday, was up there Monday and bought it right after a test drive. Sean was right there to assist from the first email up until today.. when HE called ME to remind me to get my winter coat thing taken care of before snow flies! I forgot all about it! He didnt just make the sale and forget.. he is still taking great care of me. Sean S. is the man!
The dealer are not honest, when we drove 2.5 hours to buy the car, they gave us the different price, and when we wanted to buy the car, they didnt give us any options, just say no warranty about this price. It was terrible. We didnt feel safe.Even we love that car very much, but we are afraid to buy it, because of the dealer.

He insisted everything was taken care of...well it wasnt!! Had to drive down there two more times to get things fix. Im stuck having to deal with them for warranty work. These mechanics are scammers had my van for year n half found out all kinds of prob with cause i took it to real mechanic they never even did a oil chang only thing they did at my 3 month warranty checkups is rotate my tires cause 3 of my wheesl almost fell off, they do thier check list but dont work on your car i kno im not the only one so please people be safe n have someone check there work they dont care about your saftey. They even said they put 13 drums on my 2016 toyota sienna that dont have drums hmmm whos vehicle did they put them on? They also said they changed the oil n they never changed the oil or filter,they also said they did a bunch of stuff on the invoce but they never touched it si while i waited for 2 hours they never checked a thing n sent me on the road. I hope karma get them mechanic monkeys im sure there doing this everyday to thousands of people shame on you riverside auto mechanics you should be investigated n charges brought up on u as#holes . i will never go back even for my checkups even tho its still under warranty i mean what warranty if they do nothing to your car n say they do. So please people be safe out there n please have someone check your car if these dishonest people said they fixed anything on you car cause chances are they did not!
Took 2 cars there for oil changes, they took almost 2 hours. They didnt reset the computer on eather one nor did they check anything else. I wont be going back.
