We had Been looking for a particular truck for a little over a year. We had been lied to and had several solid out from under us at other dealerships. When we found one at Maverick Chevrolet we didn’t wait around we jumped on it, Maverick Chevrolet Was doing some work on it and didn’t have any pictures of the truck so we were going on what Becky our sales associate told us about the truck. She told us that it was in good shape and immaculate inside but it was still at the detail shop and it would be available to view the next day so we drove the 3.5 hours to see a truck we had never seen not even one picture. When we arrived there was the truck parked in front and it was exactly as Becky described and more. We were excited as we test drove the truck and bought it as soon as the test drive was over. Thank you so very much Maverick Chevrolet. It’s been over a week now and we love the truck.

This dealerships service department just saved our entire trip!!! They were so fast friendly and professional our brakes went out on my 2018 GMC Terrain in Marshall and these guys found the problem and fixed it when I had just about given up any hopes of making our trip to Missouri! I recommend this place to anyone who puts value in a dealership that goes above and beyond if I could give more stars I would you guys were such a blessing HUGE thank you to the service team!

Had to bring my car in to replace the break vacuum, what should have been a 3 hour fix lasted almost 8 days. Took them forever to get the part, said my warranty would cover it, said it would be $100, then called back and said it would be $365, then said it would be $309, said my battery needed to be replaced because it wouldn’t start (I have never had this issue the car had always started right up), they replaced it and the car starts the EXACT SAME if not worse then before I gave it to them, had to call over and over again for little communication, couldn’t get a rental car cause “the job only takes 3 hours” but they had my car for over a week, then said that I could have a rental but said they “didn’t have one to give me” so I went a week without my car, paid triple what I was supposed to, almost lost my job, it was a nightmare. But the breaks are fixed so, two stars is my rating.

I. Do. Not. Like. Car. Dealerships. Having said that, against my will I was taken to Maverick Chevrolet in Marshall Texas. As the car was going to be for me how could I refuse. When we arrived late on a Friday afternoon to look at a 2021 Chevy Blazer we were met by Eddie Longoria in the front entrance. Let me say I was more than pleasantly surprised by the no pressure- no hustle- attitude of Eddie. I test drove the car and instantly loved it. Eddie was up front and honest with my husband and me from the start. There was no sleazy feeling about price haggling or trying to beat us on the 2020 Jeep my husband was trading in. The deal was clean, easy, and beyond professional. It has been years since I have wanted an American manufactured vehicle but I could not be more pleased with not only the ride but more so the service we got from Eddie. Great experience on purchase of 2020 Silverado. I played the game to work the best deal possible with several large dealerships in Houston. Searched all over for the truck I was looking for. I found it at Maverick. Eddie and Becky made the deal come to life. With the good price and responsive sales experience, I made the 3 hour drive from Houston to Marshall, when I got there, I was in and out in less than an hour, no hassles, no changes to the deal, no high pressure add on selling (finance department did cover the extended warranty program....but was not pushy). Untruthful and prone to doing the bare minimum. I recently took my 2012 Chevy sonic up to the service department and was told I couldn’t get in until the end of the week and scheduled an appointment. I dropped my car off at 7:30am, explained what I needed diagnosed, and proceeded with my day. After a long day they didn’t “have my car ready” until 5:30pm. They told me I had a bad wheel bearing and hub, and also that I had an intake problem. The cost was $110 for the diagnosis. I had a paper from Auto-Zone sitting in my seat that told them exactly why the check engine light was on and that wasn’t my concern with bringing in me car. I did however understand the bearing and hub situation considering they took my wheel off and looked to make sure that’s what it was. When I took it to someone else they informed me that only my bearing was bad, gave me a $150 cheaper quote using GM factory parts. They also told me that there was no way due to buildup that the dealership took it off and looked. In conclusion, I paid $110 for them to hook it up to a diagnostic machine (for the engine light I already diagnosed) and drive it to hear the buzzing noise I already told them about . Upon leaving after picking up the car I was told I need to get it fixed now or my wheel will “snap off”. Maverick Chevrolet, where they drive your car around the parking lot, and plug it into a small device and charge you $110. I’m extremely dissatisfied with the job, and hope they would take a customer into more consideration.

Went to a Chevy dealer in Shreveport Louisiana (where I’m from) found the 5.3 liter engine 1500 crew cab we wanted they drafted up a buyers order with final price. I said to myself you know I’ve always heard you can get a better deal in Texas so let’s roll the dice and see what they have I mean what do I have to loose (of course Shreveport guys told me I’m crazy I won’t find a better deal then they offered). Arrived at Maverick was not the typical shark car salesman running out bothering you as you pull in was a simple hey if you need anything let me know. We looked at several different models cause lord do they have a huge selection of models and different features (not a complaint just really didn’t expect them to have so many different choices) Finally found what we wanted, not only did Matt beat the price on the truck we wanted in Shreveport, but the truck we wanted at Maverick had several nicer features included on this truck and they still beat the price of the base truck from Shreveport . Best thing about the experience there was no again hate to say this but (car salesmen pressure) Matt actually looked at us and said hey we don’t use this lender (was my bank) but if you can get those rates do not go through my lenders don’t sign these papers we can help you go through your lender which is exactly what he did. If your looking for a new vehicle with a great deal, and none of the typical pressure sales cars salesman (and hate to say that but not a reflection on these guys) then I would recommend using Maverick. FYI I did not use maverick ford simply because I wanted Chevy but they have the same owner so I would be willing to bet you would get the same treatment at that dealership and if you didn’t I assume the owner would quickly correct that issue. He appeared to have the good ole boy attitude was a friendly no BS guy wanted his customers done I right which I saw first hand again when he generally did not want me to sign for the higher interest rate just so I would buy a truck and was not a act he was putting on it was genuine.Thanks guys when I’m ready for a new one down the road I’ll be back and already have my dad talked in to coming to see y’all when he’s ready to trade his 3500 for a new one

Cant say enough about these guys here. we were traveling across the us and our check engine light came on on our first day off!!!!!
