My husband and I went and bought a home from this company. Absolutely loveee the home but the service was not up to the standards I felt like we deserved. There was no hand shake or picture taken or gift basket to congratulate on our new purchase. We were told that someone would be out to fix the cracks in the ceiling and the drywall on one of the walls. That did NOT happen. I was given a number to call to get it fixed, which will be coming out of our pockets. They shouldnt tell people one thing and do another its bad business!!!

I didnt feel as though the sales guy really wanted to help me. I feel like every person should be treated as a potential customer. I will not return there because they didnt make me feel like a valued customer.

Nice mobile homes at reasonable prices. No pressure from sales people. They leave the homes open so that visitors can view each of the homes.

We bought our home here is Marshall texas. The sales team was great but when we bought the home it has been leaking due to the sun deck. They came out to fix it an 3 years later we are still having problems with where it had leaked. All the boards on the sun deck had rotted due to using cheap wood. The air never worked an I called lots of times to tell them an they said it just got out side . well I had to pay 2,000 to have a new blower put in due to it having a hole in it from the day we bought it.We have not been happy with this home since we bought it. Its all been falling apart from the day we bought it. If we could do somethi g to get our money back or get a different home we would. We paid a good price for a piece of junk.. I have to say that Souther energy homes has been working with us to try an get it all fixed but its just after you spent so much on a home that you thought was nice has turned out to be like this.

Can you say,,,,,Bipolar? Before I bought a new double wide, I went at least a dozen vendors in the marshall, shreveport and bossier city area. The guy at marshall mobile homes was the strangest and most unsalesman like person I ever met. Asking him questions clearly irritated him. He had the exact opposite personality of someone that you would think would be attracted to a sales position. Very strange encounter. We ended up buying a much nicer home, for much less money in bossier city.

I think I speak for myself as well as a few others here when I say, this so called Home-Town Business DOESNT make you feel welcome at their place of business, they DONT make any attempts to make you feel valued or appreciated as a potential buyer or as a loyal customer after purchase is made & again they DONT conduct business as a loyal business should in order to keep their customers happy! I believe in giving our locally owned businesses a chance before shopping around in another city or state. Myself, being like many others reads the reviews posted by others who have experienced the same scenario with this business & then come here to leave a review on their experience. Before I purchased my home, I did visit their company website to take a look at the reviews & there werent many comments to base any kind on judgement on, therefore I had to go off my own thoughts. Even though I wasnt treated the way a potential buyer/eager to purchase customer would like to have been treated, I continued with the purchase of my new home & here I am almost 6 months after purchase coming back to read these reviews that have recently been added & all I can do is literally shake my head & say that not 1 of these negative reviews surprise me...AT ALL & those of you who had a pleasant experience: BE THANKFUL! Its always nice to have customers such as myself -- that will give locally owned businesses/employees the opportunity to make a sale before I consider to purchase out of city or state. Theres more that I could say & maybe should share about my experience, but thered NEVER be enough space to express my thoughts about this experience or to say exactly what Id like to say regarding the way MY 1st TIME HOME BUYER experience went. This experience should have consisted of a time to be thankful, a time to be grateful, a joyous time to be thankful for all my many blessings. The days & weeks spent preparing to close on our new home were stressful at times & thats to be expected. However, the over-all experience should have been filled with lots of laughter -- followed by lots of ideas & planning on how to make my 1 true wish that GOD allowed myself, my 3 wonderful kids & my husband to finally be blessed with after all the hard work & dedication that was put towards making this dream become a reality! Going through the home buying process is NOT easy or stress-free by any means but once youve made it through the rough days, the days become a little brighter, the atmosphere becomes a little less hectic & during that time is when you take that quiet moment to yourself & ask the GOOD LORD above to help you remain humble, remain positive no matter how another human being treats you...because when its all said & done & youve closed on your home --- GOD reminds you good things come to those who wait, an also to those who remain positive despite the situation at hand. YOUR HOME IS YOUR CASTLE...NEVER FORGET THAT! The home buying process should have been a happy, joyful, memorable time -- while tears of joy should be shed... because youre thankful & grateful to be a home owner despite the bad experience encountered with the company that I heart felt chose to make my home buying experience a good one ---however that wasnt the case & its now a thing of the past that I continue to have to deal with today because there is unfinished business followed by excuse after excuse for the past 90 or so days on the companys part as to why they have not full-filled my request for things to be fixed in my home. THAT RIGHT THERE FOLKS IS WHAT YOU CALL BAD BUSINESS... With that being said, this is where my review comes to an end, as Ive shared enough of my experience in this review for anyone else whos inquiring about purchasing a home, my advice: USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT...ALWAYS!!! Im sure my point was made in so many words...Thanks for taking the time to read about my experience....Best of luck!!!
