Owner came to measure door and entered property without permission (should have first sign). Continued with order due to great pricing and was told 6-8 weeks. At 8 weeks then was told thats not true 16-18 weeks. Repeatedly told there was no refund, but no more contact initiated from the business until week 42 weeks later. They have threatened multiple times too. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. See the long list of poor reviews.

Its been raining in my living room during heavy rains since I bought the house in late 2016, and my husband applying flex seal on the roof near this area has always stopped it, so we assumed it was a roof issue. Had windows replaced 3/2017, one of which was a 2nd story dormer window. Inproper installation, per the roofer that had to caulk the inside of the window frame (clear caulk at bottom of both sides of window, not the outside of the window) yesterday to stop the rain from coming in through my ceiling. Per the very rude 2 women in the office who just spoke at me, it will be $75 to have someone come and look at it, caulk (inside the window frame?) is the owners responsibility, that somehow I should have known that when water was coming through the ceiling it was a window, not the roof, and reported that to them from day 1, that it cant possibly be a window because theres no water damage on the wall below it, and that a roofer cant know whether or not a window is properly installed. The windows themselves are good, but after being transferred 2x with no warning, and being berated by a 3rd employee for calling to ask if they were in any way going to help me with the cost of the ceiling repair, I cant recommend this company.

Our experience was not good. After our door was installed, it did not fit right and the molding around the door was coming off. We called 5 times and were told several different things. EX: someone would call back-no call back. Ex: told the manager would be informed-no call back. Finally, we left a message for the owner to give us a call. We then got a call the installer would be out to fix the door. He did come with a screwdriver which did not fix the problem. He said he would come by the next Monday on his way home. He even gave us his cell phone # and his helpers#. Monday came and went and we called the 2 cell numbers. That was almost 3 months age, so I guess they are not coming.This business is so lacking in customer service and finishing up problems. This is probably the worst service we have encountered.

The windows now look awesome! It has given the house a much needed new facelift! They were installed with only a minor set back no fault of the installers, just a crack in the glass of 1 window. I would definitely reccomend!! them

The customer service for new customers is horrible. I went in to see about buying some new windows for a home project. I talked to a rep in the store and was told immediately that someone would call me to schedule an appointment. That was 5 days ago, still no phone call.

I am holding off on the review until total resolution. This project has been going on way too long, installation is in its 6 month (yes the window is still in the process of being installed.) Currently I would not recommend them.

Absolutely Best window company in the area. The Ladies in the office are very nice and helpful. Installers were very nice and didnt leave a mess. And the sales person is very laid back and nice.

Window World was 1 of 3 local window companies I received estimates for installing 21 windows. My sales lady was Brenda. She was prompt, and well prepared for her sales presentation. Prior to all 3 appointments, we prepared a ‘wish list’ for all 3 companies, giving each company the same wish list we wanted in our windows after researching what would be best for us. Despite critical reviews of Window Worlds window manufacturing and installation, I have found them wrong. I was very pleased with the quote we received from Brenda of Window World. After getting two more estimates for the same “wish list”, Brenda quoted us nearly $2000 less than the other two. Again, this is after requesting the same window ‘wish list’ from all three companies. Eight weeks after signing contract, Paul came to install our windows and storm door. He was very prompt, and very experienced. He seemed very trustworthy. It took 2-4 hours to install all 21 windows during the first day. And then it took about two days to finish capping the outside, caulking and installing our storm door. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the price and the services.

Awesome Job. I bought 20 Windows and 2 Doors and it took about 6-8 weeks to be installed it may have been sooner but we had a lot rain and you cant install in the rain, which was totally fine. The installers did a GREAT job. The Office Ladies are really nice and Knowledgeable and will help you with any concerns you may have. I will be giving them a call in the summer to do Siding and gutters :)

Installation was flawless. Crew did a great job with no mess at all. Had a wall of windows installed(6) floor to ceiling, and they did a great job. Outside has a tight seal and looks wonderful and no touch up painting needed! Definitely will have them do the rest of my home!

Cant wait til August for the last of my windows. I pray next year I can get the siding done. Have to save for it. They are great people!

Had the windows installed in2010, using our own installer. Love the windows, but recently had to call for service because we had trouble with the hardware, that opens and closes the window. Mark came to our house to fix the problem. I paid 35 Dollars for him to belittle me and the window is not fixed. I called back to request a different person to do the job and was told there is no one else. Upon asking to speak to the manager I was informed that Mark is the manager and owner. This is the worst customer service ever. I have a life time warranty and if he has to outsource fixing my window so be it. They have to honor the contract.Beware of Window World!

Office was very nice, and so was the installers. My windows look great. And they didnt leave a mess. Diffently will tell me friends and family to use window world.

Very impressed with our overall experience. A window world sales man came out to our house. He did a demo of their window, answered all questions, and left us with a quote. We had several estimates from other companies and WW was by far the best priced. We decided to proceed with getting windows and placed our order. From there it was just a waiting game (8 weeks), but like the contract stated it could take 6-8 weeks for installation. Office was very nice, installers were very respectful and installation exceeded my expectations. They look great and thank you WW for making this processes so easy. We will be returning customers and recommend yall to any and all friends and family.

I would NEVER do business with these guys again. NEVER NEVER NEVER. Installation took too long, and window metal work isnt sealed off as needed. I went above an beyond to help, by even installing ALL the down stairs windows (13 of them) myself since the crew would not be available for another week to do the installation. After the windows were installed (I had to correct a few of the upstairs windows they installed). How are you a window installer, if you do not know how to verify the windows are level? One of the picture window glasses is broken, and has been for over a month (it was my own fault and I am prepared to pay for the replacement glass). They are unable to get the correct replacement ordered, and are now holding up progress of the overall project. So in summary I have exterior window trim wrapped in metal that leaks water by the bucket load when raining, and I still have a broken glass that after a month and a half still isnt replaced. The manager, Mark, barely returns my calls, and WILL NOT come by to see the job. I have asked him to meet me on-site to determine if the job is or is NOT acceptable from a quality perspective. I simply ask that he take the time to meet me on the job site to discuss what is currently in place and determine is job is done. Good thing is that I still owe them $4,200 and will NOT be settling the bill until these issues are addressed accordingly.

Very rude staff and manager. It took about 2 minutes for them to look up from their phones to greet me. Then couldnt find my window and told me they didnt have it after they had already called to tell me my order was ready. They were very short with me and obviously unorganized. They did find my window, but I dont think Ill be returning for any additional windows.

Price and quality is good but the service was kind of lacking. I only had six windows and expected at least 2 people to complete the job but 1 guy came. He got there and was there for a little while then told me he needed more supplies and should be back in about 20 minutes. He came back over an hour later and said he had an emergency appointment in the afternoon so would have to leave and come back the next day to finish the job. I had specifically scheduled this on my day off and never expected it to take more than 4-5 hours. He didn’t show up again until after 3 pm the following day to finish the job. I know emergencies happen but they should have a contingency plan in a case like this.

Bought windows and just had them installed. Everything went great! Will definitely recommend this company!

Salesman ordered the wrong windows, I got stuck with wrong windows and they failed within a year. I tried talking with Office Manager she told me well you signed the order How was I suppose to know what the order numbers meant? talked WITH home PRO THEY COULDNT EVEN GET THESE PEOPLE TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND GIVE THE RIGHT WINDOWS...

I normally dont write reviews, but I felt I had to due to the recent reviews seen here. I honestly dont know what everyone is fussing about because my experience with Window World was great! You must keep your frame of reference right, as they are a discount window supplier, but the service, the people, the windows were exactly what I expected and I couldnt be happier. I write this review to encourage the 5 star snobs (which I am guilty of) to not overlook Window World when shopping for windows - you cannot beat the price. Make sure you do what they request (cars out of the driveway, stuff pulled away from the windows) and maybe offer the poor guys working out in the hot sun some water and they will treat you with the same respect. I will mention communication is a small gap, but nothing worth the loss of a star, and scheduling can be a challenge, but I hate to break it to yall, that is so with almost any construction company. 4.5 stars in my book but I round it up to 5 to balance the scales.

They replaced soffits and fascia on my sisters home and they were very easy to work with and did a fantastic job. I have already recommended them to a friend.

They have great financing available and quality products a must try if youre in the market for new windows.

Stay Away!!!! I was told the gas would keep the heat out.. The Hell if it does.... I am going to write my congressmen and file a complaint with the attorney General. And no one is honest that is what bothers me the most...I paid a lot of money which they got in full. A job that was suppose to take 2 days turn into to 2 months. Why? contract stays 2 days? finger prints left on the walls, security system moved from its original position, windows not aliened, not done professionally, the installers had no clue what the main office had spoke to me about...

Installed 10 windows by Window World in 2009. The 6th window sash failed (All 5 before were upper sashes facing East and West; this one a lower sash facing West below a previous failure) and has to be replaced. This happens when the gas seal fails and mold grows between the double panes; the window looks “dirty” but can never be cleaned.Do not go with these cheap windows! Even though they replace for free (save the sticker from the original window sash for new one or you won’t get a new replacement if it fails again!) you have to pay to take out old and replace; I did them myself; what a hassle.DO NOT BUY THESE WINDOWS. Spend a bit more for windows that will last!

Its been almost a year, the windows still arent installed. The office staff is rude and obnoxious. They currently are holding $1,800.00, refusing a refund yet refusing to schedule the work. Intially, said an 8 week wait, turned into 12, another phone call, rudely treated...almost a year later, still no windows. Office staff states you signed a contract ... maybe so, but that was before I knew it would be an eight week lead time. So, after phone calls, and nasty letter from them, still NO WINDOWS!

UPDATE: Since I have reviewed Window World things have only taken a turn for the worse. I submitted a review (and photos) on their facebook page...which the manager Mark Burch has since removed the ability to review on the page. I have been accused of staging photos, called nasty, and a liar. Mark Burch (Window World of Augusta manager) has called my home 3 times, (seemingly inebriated), yelling, saying its fine there were cigarette butts on the counter, that I was being nit picky, calling me rude for not telling him my age, threatening to put a lien on my house.. etcAll of these phone calls have been recorded.Mark Burch also used a fake facebook profile (which is associated with his Window World of Augusta cell phone), to harass my family.This has gone from beyond an inconvenience to just plain scary.We will be reaching out to Philip Laurance, the supposed CEO of Window World of Augusta..................................................................Windows were supposed to be finished Monday..now its Saturday and they are still not finished. The windows that have been installed have been done poorly; ie screws hanging out, casing damaged etc. Showed up Tuesday to find cigarette butts all over the kitchen counter, a broken window, clogged toilet and trash all over the yard... After numerous phone calls (and one where I was told the manager Mark Burch would call me, which he never did) I thought the problem was resolved. Friday showed up to broken glass in the driveway and the windows still not finished. Window World of Augusta has been unresponsive.
