Store is nice and clean and well put together.

Went in to buy a birthday card and the selection was a little lacking. I found one and when I went to check out the line was fairly long. As I was standing there maybe a minute they had another checker come open another register. Excellent service

Shopping in the mornings is the worst, you dont get a lot of things, a lot of empty shelves

All the staff is super friendly and they carry a lot of awesome items that you can only get a nob Hill or the giant Safeway and they have stuff even giant Safeway doesnt have. I had a small incident where a woman in line was using offensive language towards the cashier I confronted the lady and the cashier was very quiet and polite and there was no further issues. Did store my neighbors and I drive from pleasant hill to get it.

My word for Nob Hill is quality. I do curbside pickup after ordering on line. They do their best to make me happy, even call me when they dont have something. I like being able to create/accumulate my list on line day-by-day and then select my time and place my order.

Always check the Best Buy dates on your items I found most of the items were about to expire. However their meats at the butcher are consistently good quality.

Always clean and fresh produce. The store is very clean and well organized. The friendly staff will make you feel welcome.

Gail in the deli makes the best sandwiches hands down. She is always happy and pleasant both me and my daughter will wait just for her to help us.

One of my favorite grocery stores.

Some lady was kind of rude about us using our own bags. Like the counties are constantly changes whats okay and not okay to do. Plus why dont they out up some signs telling you not to use your own bags?? I would have gladly put mine away and used theirs if I had read a sign saying so. Also only store I have been to that doesnt allow you to use your own bags.

Though new, John is a great manager! He has been so responsive and willing to assist me. I have had numerous special orders which he ensures get filled. The staff overall is pretty good, even with the high turnover in the past year. The carts are sanitized and everyone is courteous.

I come here for the deli because they make the best gluten free sandwiches. This particular time I wasnt treated so nice but my food was delicious. The sandwich lady acted like I had the plague. She wasnt friendly at all. That is unusual for here. The checker wasnt friendly either. It was like no one was feeling thankful for having a job. I guess it was just a bad day all around. Absolutely no complaints on the food though. Thanks Nob Hill for having gluten free bread!

I go here often for the ATM machine which is conveniently located next to the door.

Excellent community engaged supermarket serving us the products we know and love for a great long while. Its not too often I write a supermarket review but having been a customer at this location for 14 years and a member of the community I just have to share my appreciation for their staff and the solid services I have been consistently provided the entire time. In my opinion, Nob Hill has the best deli sandwiches in the area. The bread is always so fresh and the cold cuts are fantastic. The grocery store is clean and the staff is friendly. This is a grocery store that I actually enjoy going to.

I like this store. Employees seem happy. Its very clean and always have a nicely stocked and organized store. Only weird thing is where they have the ice cream.

Great place to shop for groceries. I prefer to go early in the morning when fewer people are shopping. Staff is very considerate and helpful.

Good place, but a little pricey

Had to run out to get ONE ITEM this evening and was turned away at the door 20 minutes before closing time. Pretty disappointing customer service from a place which is usually the opposite. The guy was unfriendly, uncaring and gruff. I wont be back here for a long time. Took my money to Lucky, where the workers were super friendly, they had what I wanted, and I got in and out without any delays.Id previously been very happy with Nob Hill, but this was such a negative experience, I dont need to support a business which cant stick to its own opening hours.If management would like to explain this policy, Im open to that. Otherwise, Ill be at Lucky for a few months instead.

Nob Hill (Rayleys) I havent had a bad experience ever. Theyve always been helpful when needed. Im mostly a sale shopper and Im always looking for a deal. Its a clean store and not too big not too small type of place. I like it.

My home town grocery store! They have some hard to find items.

One of the better grocery stores in the area. Conveniently located, tons of parking, and they offer self checkout. Great selection too. Way above Safeway and yet not as expensive as Safeway. Of course there are some things that cost more at both stores.

Love this place. Friendly staff, great selection, reasonable prices, and I go here every time I stay in John Muir motel across the street.

Friendly neighborhood grocery store! I do most of my shopping at Costco, but I come here for excellent produce and occasionally meats. Its good for filling in between bigger trips too. Prices are a bit high but you can catch a lot of sales and their rewards program helps.

Hurt my back so unable to go to the grocery store. I ordered my groceries on Tuesday afternoon to be delivered the next morning between 10:00-10:30. The driver arrived at 10:15 and brought the groceries in to the kitchen. He was very courteous and everything i ordered was there. The produce he picked out looks really good as if I had picked it myself. Much better than Safeway delivery service. Will use again.

I love Mom Hill shopping center had a great peopleplus I have family that works there making it even more fun to go and visit when I need to buy food or pastries, cakes or fruit bakery is amazing.

A little pricy for my liking but found everything we needed and were in and out quickly. The cashier was courteous and helpful.

It has a good selection. More variety and nicer than the Martinez Safeway. The self-checkout area makes it convenient and easy to shop, especially if youre only getting a few items.

Great location. Fresh produce is featured Opal allpes look great as you walk in the door. Produce Manager sampled for me... AWESOME apple.

Pleasant grocery store

Checkout clerks focused on their internal conversations which took away time from getting the customers in line out the door quickly. Need to get the customers out faster or increase the self checkout registers. Dont ignore those of standing in line for your private conversations.

Nob does the Job! Good produce, bomb deli sandwiches, good sushi.

Nice and clean store. I personally like using the Wells Fargo ATM inside. Great for last minute food necessities, great deli section also, baked goods.

I used to shop at the store a lot of years ago. And I must have had a lot more money because the prices this time when I went where a bit higher not just a little bit but quite a bit. Plus when I was trying to find something I would look for in a logical place and it wasnt there really scattered had to go back and forth quite a bit. Other than that as to clean store. And lots of different stuff fresh seafood in the meat department. Are you can get steaks cut to your size. Other than that it was a lot more than I was spending at a store Im going to know. But I love the shopping center theres a lot of good stuff there. Okay thats about it have a great day

Always get great service while shopping in the store and at check out. The store is quick to respond to lines at check out to call another checker out. Prices are a little bit more than others but the service is worth it.

Exactly what youd expect

The bakery is marvelous along with the sushi chef I cant seem to visit with out leaving with some sushi rolls for lunch with a piece of cake for later! They have specialty chips and snacks that I cant find anywhere else that are fantastic.. Pricy but good.. Better sushi then any other grocery store Ive ever eaten

Great Selection

I love this store, been shopping here close to 20yrs now. Theyve been great at having more options for typically unreasonably priced organic food. (Not pruduce/still pricey) stores always clean, usually well stocked. Clerks are friendly & helpful.

Beef is top shelf, went to pick up sale corn on the cob, but sold out. Hit or miss on shopping each time. Its close by to my home. That says it all.

No nobs to be found

Very good place to shop, always good produce and meat! It is more pricy than Safeway or Luckys but very much worth it if you have the money. You pay for what you get! 99% of the people are very helpful and friendly, lots of organic items too. My take on this chain is it is in between a Safeway and whole foods.

Superb daily service! Place is awesome! Especially the Deli crew! Everyone smiles in the Deli, and takes excitement about helping patrons. Sandwiches are made really good too! Good deals too! Only drawback about this is place is the tall, willowy Cashier who works the self service registers, and Floral: very rude, never smiles, and Unempathetic. I will continue to enjoy this place!!!
