Sale new and used games for most gaming consoles. Attachments such as headsets, Mikes and cameras for consoles are also available . Nice place to go to for your gaming needs.

We like coming in here from time to time shopping mostly for used games etc. We are pro members too so why not. Wish some of the brand new game prices were more competitive with Walmart prices etc. for the same game. GameStop prices tend to be full retail price for new games. We do love the pre order options so its kind of like layaway easier to make payments.

I have to say I truly love this GameStop located in Martinsville over by Walmart. They have a ton of Inventory and are always willing to help u find whatever u need instead of just letting u walk around lost. Also their product pricing is very affordable and reasonable.

I think this store is well stocked for a small market like Martinsville. They carry a good assortment of games new and old as well as collectibles and novelty items of many genres. Staff seems helpful and friendly.

They do okay its next to a Walmart so why not enjoy the trip to GameStop and browse after grocery shopping

Gamestop seems to have been on the decline for years now. Every time I visit I find less and less, and the prices seem to get worse. This visit I could not find anything I wanted in their meager selection. I found a couple games I would have settled for until I found that the $30 used price could be beaten by Amazon for $17 less and in new condition. Their business model of underpaying people for their items and then overcharging customers for the same item may not be working too well for them as there is hardly anyone in the store every time i visit. Not sure how long they will manage to keep their head above water before they suffer the same demise as Blockbuster and Toys R Us.

I enjoyed GameStop alot. They have some really cool games for all kinds of game consoles. I have a XBOX 360 and Im hooked on racing games. Im sixty three years old but I do enjoy the games. Theyre prices are reasonable and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Good selection of anime figures. Staff should be more respectful. Especially the younger girl. Flirting with boys is not appropriate. But i like this place.

Its nice to know that you can still walk in to a brick-and-mortar game store that has very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Pretty much all bases are covered here, titles, consoles, hardware and novelties. Prices are very fair and older titles and consoles are well-supported.

Why are you even open if youre out of literally everything? Why do you have product boxes displayed for products you dont actually have? Why are you so painfully awful? Why cant you just close with what little dignity you have left?

Just went to return a Nintendo Wee because it just stopped working, the system just stopped like it had no power. Only had less than a month (it was used) but my daughter paid 275.00 for it. They would do nothing to make this right and was soo very rude to her. She has around 700.00 or more in this system and games. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I went in to buy one game and it took 35 minutes. I went the day before to purchase the game, but there where 18 people in line and only one person behind the register. So I decided to come back the next day when they werent as busy. So I go back the next day, and again there is only one person working with 15 people in line. Now you figure since the line was long the only employee working would try and hurry it up a little bit, but no that wasnt the case. And instead of dealing with the people in front of him, hes answering the phones answering there questions and looking up what the customer on the phone wants, instead of dealing with the customer in front of you at the register first. So after waiting 30 minutes I finally get to the register to purchase my game. I was looking for the game I wanted used, but if they didnt have it used I was gone just purchase the new one. Well they had no used and only one new in stock. So I bought the new one. Well the so called NEW game had no case? How is it new if its not in the original case. So they put it in a generic game stop case. And put a bind on the case and tell me that its new. If I purchase a new game at full retail price I expect it to be unopened and in its original packaging, Not in a disc sleeve. Cause if a customer takes a game out of the case its used. But game stop can open the case and still call it new. I almost hate that I renewed my pro membership. Because from now on when Im purchasing a new game I will be going to Wal-Mart instead of game stop. That way when I buy a new game it will actually be new and in its original case. Not a open, used game, they decided to mark as new. Even though it wont in its original packaging. So if you want sub par service and want to buy new games without the case it comes in. I suggest you go to this game stop

This location seems to be very busy. Understaffed to some extent, once staff was free to help customers in the store they where courteous and well knowledged. Unfortunately this location was short on stock. Walmart which is within eyesight of this establishment was fully stocked and at a much lower price.

Only one person In the entire store even knows anything about pre orders and video games not welcoming no one says hey welcome to gamestop or even can I help you find anything when you walk in like they used to just ignore you and employees tell you that preorders dont exist so they can buy them for themselves seen this first hand very sad store Mary was the only person who knew how to pull up preorders and she had great customer service but others including management need to put applications in elsewhere because they clearly dont know anything about the job they have

I have been calling my local store for 4 hours today and no one will answer. I know the store is not that busy for that long!

I have never had a bad experience here, and I have never had an issue with them answering the phone. Theyve always been very helpful, and have always been friendly. Theres absolutely no better place in Martinsville to buy video games. In fact, I have been to a lot of GameStop locations, and the staff at this is some of the most friendly I have encountered.Their business at this location is fantastic. Do not let the review score fool you. Martinsville is a small town with an older population. You wont find many people writing Google reviews around here. Only the ones that get annoyed, and many of their customers are parents that do not want to be there in the first place.

Called this past Sunday. Wanted to come in store to order a white ps4 from warehouse. Called about quarter after 4 told them I was coming from another city and was on my way. They were very polite over the phone and told me to come on! I arrive around 5 and they were closed early due to inclement weather and wouldnt let me in. Had I been an employee and knew there was a possibility we were closing early I would have let the customer know that on the phone, before they drove all the way there. Horrible customer service. And this isnt the only instance Ive had a bad experience.

Unable to answer the phone, First time I ever went to the store I tried trading my ps4 In, Guy said that It was defective, drove straight down 58 went to the danville gamestop they plugged It up In front of me, Nothing was defective and they gave me My In store credit . I guess the big boy In the martinsville gamestop was just ready to get back to his big mac he had on the counter, He was putting a hurting on It . But Its all good just proved to me why I drive the extra miles to go to danville first experience there and the last . Will tell everybody to steer clear from this store the employes Is so rude our money Isnt worth their salary ! Not to mention Its literally the smallest gamestop Ive ever seen . Im all for supporting gamestop rather than the big name stores, But not this one .
