The lady working here was so nice. Found the perfect drink for me, maple oat milk latte, so good! Her baked goods are amazing too. Such a cute welcoming place, will definitely be back!

I came in after an interview nearby. This is just about the friendliest place to visit for great, reasonably priced, and most importantly, delicious coffee. They are genuine, compassionate, and inquisitive in a friendly and warm way. The wonderful barista asked me all about my interview, she was so nice. Its very refreshing to feel like more than just a customer. The experience is better than the coffee, and thats not an insult to the coffee. Truly blessed to have this place by my future workplace.

A+ for service, quality and cleanliness. Who needs Starbucks when you have Higher Groundz? Not to mention Higher Groundz pricing is very fair. I cant wait to visit again soon.

We happened to come across this place while passing through. The manager was so friendly and the pumpkin chocolate chip bread is AMAZING. The drip coffee was gone for the day so she made me an Americano, which I had never had before and it was so good!! My husband said the green tea was delicious as well. Stop by here if you’re passing through!! It’s worth it!

This place was such a great choice for us. Not only does it have a great atmosphere with Christian music and scripture verses around but it also has delicious flavored coffee and teas! I got there honey lavender w/ oat milk latte which was amazing! My husband got the hot chocolate freeze and oh my word if you have not tried anything like this before its like a super rich chocolatey shake!

Super cute little coffee shop from a converted annex. Unassuming but solid. Friendly and personable staff with a unique presence. Hidden gem in the basement of the Zion Lutheran Church. Don’t pass this place up because of it’s church location, you will not feel like you are in a church basement and you absolutely will not be disappointed. Wonderful staff and fantastic coffee.

Went there for the 1st time yesterday, everyone was super friendly, they all took the time to explain me the different drink options. Ended up getting a Tiramisu Latte and an Iced White Chocolate Cheesecake...both were amazing!! Friendliest staff!!

I’ll try and make this my go to. I’m very impressed with their lower calorie options and protein powder additions.I’m not sure if they have free wifi but that would be a plus.

If you love coffee, tea, pastries, Higher Groundz is a place you must stop by! The shop sits in the basement of Zion Lutheran Church on Dorsett Road. The staff and management are phenomenal! This shop may be a hidden gem for now but wont be for long!

This is a great place to stop for a latte, coffee or smoothie. They also have various random delicious baked goods that are homemade fresh. The employees and owner are so friendly & kind. It is a treat to go in and get a delicious drink and a tasty goodie.

My family and I come here almost every day. The coffee is the best coffee we have ever had. The folks who work there are absolutely beautiful people in every possible way. They are great at chatting with you when you are in the mood to chat or getting you out the door efficiently when youre in a rush. They have VERY comfy chairs and good size tables that are perfect for hanging out and studying post pandemic. I cannot say enough good things about this coffee shop. I am so very grateful this coffee shop opened. They have definitely filled a need on Dorsett and in Maryland Heights.

Its a very nice and spacious place. Easy to social distance.The staff is friendly and professional.Best part, the drinks are less expensive than their rivals and far tastier. The hand made mini loaves and artisan biscotti were raved over by other customers while we were there, going to try them next. A must try.

Dont be intimidated by the church -This adorable little spot is just down the ramp in front of the building. The barista was cheery, helpful, & made an amazing white mocha latte!Flavors & combos galore; cold, hot, double caffeinated to caffeine free. No judgement, just good coffee ;)

Let me start with Divine! The atmosphere was peaceful, friendly and private. My first day visiting I met the Pastor and his wife. Mark and Marlina, what a lovely couple. The made me feel like family, yes at a Coffee shop. When I saw they had Matcha Green Tea latte, I had to try it. OH MY GOODNESS! HEAVENLY Indeed. I have found my new favorite coffee shop! Delicious drinks, friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, and free wi-fi! I couldn’t make up my mind when I came in & I was greeted with such patience - which I appreciated so much! The staff helped me decide & I was able to hang out for awhile. Yep, if I’m needing a break from home - I’ll be right here - checking out the rest of the menu. 😊

I went here with my friends & everyone here was so sweet and gave us a really delicious sample of fresh pumpkin bread! & the drinks were even better, i recommend the iced vanilla latte :) this place has such a homie feeling and i recommend it to anyone who enjoys baked goods and sweet drinks. definitely will come again!

Vanilla latte as good as you will find at established coffee houses anywhere around the U.S. Even if you hate great coffee come for the gooey butter cake cookie. Super fast WiFi and the staff on hand were super welcoming. Very, very conscious of everyones health need

Finally decided to stop in today after driving by everyday to and from work & man, I wish I would’ve sooner! The coffee is delicious, I got the butter toffee latte for myself & the salted caramel for my husband. Of course I had to sip out of his too, both were delicious! This coffee is head and shoulders above Starbucks. They have incredibly high standards that are present and obvious in every cup. I have a hard time trying other flavors, because the first one I tried was so good!

Delicious coffee blends and frozen drinks. The clientele is so friendly and free WiFi. We played games during our visit and stayed for hours. Two thumbs up for Higher Grounds Coffee.
