Word are inadequate to express how frustrated and disappointed I was with Gillenwater Customer Service. We walked in on April 19th talked to Mark Nipper and came away with excitement and high expectations. My mother was ready to go with them regardless of the cost. Mark said hed have our estimate to us on April 21st. April 22, I emailed to ask when we could expect it since it didnt come on the 21st. He responded with Friday the 23rd, fair enough. Still no estimate, Tuesday the 27th I emailed him again, no response, Wednesday the 28th I left him a voice mail, no response. Friday we went to the store, he promised he would work on it over the weekend and have it to us Monday, May 3rd. Tuesday May 4th, I sent him a firm email about my frustration and contacted another contractor in Maryville. Wednesday morning I sent an email through the Gillenwater website, Wednesday afternoon I had a worded estimate that didnt have half of what we talked about on it from Mark, looked like it was thrown together last minute. Thursday afternoon we had an appointment with Debuty Builders Inc., 2 hours later Robby Waters sent us diagrams, next day we had an estimated price, 5/7 cabinets are on order and our project is underway...Gillenwater set us back 3 weeks in getting the kitchen remodel done. Seriously disappointed!

Got the indoor /outdoor carpeting that we needed. Had to order it, and pickup at the warehouse a few days later, a at different location.

Awesome work! We bought a house with their flooring job already in place and the crew came out to replace a few boards. They were very courteous, super clean, quick and professional. Our floors are gorgeous!

Very helpful staff went here for the materials to build a tile shower took the time to help me pick out everything gave me samples to go very courteous even though my customer chose not to go with them I would still go back anytime to buy materials very gracious people

Absolutely one of the worst Business transactions of my life. Gillenwater didnt have the tile I requested 6 months prior to install. Installer was beyond disrespectful and unprofessional. Job was not done on time and owner promised a free box of cleaners that were never delivered. When tile was installed it was cut in my driveway and stains were left on concrete. Circuit breaker was tripped for refrigerator. Buyer Beware.

Communticating with sales people was very frustrating- they did not listen...felt they did not care. Had to continually call to prompt movement on projects --- Re-tiled fireplace & installed hard wood floors in living room. End product is beautiful. Re-carpeting upstairs in spring, will not be using them again. Will look for company that wants my business.

I am an interior designer in the Knoxville/East Tennessee area and have known and worked with the Gillenwater family for years. They have excellent customer service and professionalism. Their show room is beautiful and full of great products! It is always a pleasure!

I remodeled my entire house this year. Brannan, Debbie, and Valerie went above and beyond the call of duty to make our house perfect! I could call and consult with them any time, they checked and double checked all installations, and their hands on personal treatment made what could have been overwhelming a complete joy. I purchased beautiful hardwood flooring, my 32 year dream of a French Country/Farmhouse kitchen, and our spa-retreat bathroom tiles from them. They have become like family to me as we worked together to fulfill my wish list! I would never, ever go anywhere else!

We absolutely love our floors. We thought there was a mess left by the installers but it turned out not to be Gillenwater responsible for the mess. Gillenwater came out to my house and inspected the mess. The willingness to make it right is what customer service is all about.

We had a great experience with Gillenwater Flooring when we replaced our kitchen floors and backsplash. They had a large variety to choose from, very reasonable prices, and got the work done quickly and efficiently. I would not look anywhere else!!

Brannen and the entire staff were fantastic to deal with. Gillenwater has installed flooring in our last 2 homes and if we move or decide to change flooring in the future we will not go anywhere else!
