I can hardly say enough good things regarding my first visit with Advanced Audiology. I met with Amanda in reference to replacing my five-year old instruments. She was very pleasant and took me through my many options. After fifteen minutes or so she recommended the Phonak-Cross system. One month later I cant tell you how impressed I am with this product and her ability to skillfully program it to my liking. Again, special thanks to Amanda for her patience in getting me back to some degree of normal. A happy customer, Bill K

I made an appointment at the Mashpee office after being shocked to learn that I had suddenly lost the hearing in one ear. Dr. Amanda Shapiro could not have been more professional, thorough, and compassionate in preparing me to try out my new hearing devices. I have had two very positive follow up appointments. Robin, at the front desk, is friendly and efficient. Altogether, I feel I am in excellent hands with Advanced Audiology’s Mashpee office.

During these difficult pandemic times the service was fantastic. Felt completely safe from the initial testing to final check. Three appointments in total. Easy to find and very good parking. Thanking you for making the transition so easy to my second pair of hearing aids.

I recently purchased the Oticon More, having used the Oticon Mini for the past four years. Leanne Fletcher and her staff at Advanced Audiology in Mashpee have offered expert help and care over the years and I have been most satisfied with their personal and professional service. I am confident that they would be dependable and reliable in assisting anyone with hearing needs.

In 2017 I purchased a pair of Oticon Hearing aids from AAA. Before the purchase I shopped around for a competitive price and found I could buy them much cheaper than at Hearing Life, right across the street. I decided to go ahead with the purchase because of their perceived advantage in expertise and paid $700 more than I would have at Hearing Life. The hearing aid and fitting have been fine and I have no complaint with that. In 2018 I made an appointment to have a hearing test for my USCG license for which I expected to pay about $100. On all my prior appoints I was given a reminder call, but due to a new untrained receptionist I did NOT get a reminder call and missed my appointment. I was charged $25 which I disputed because of no reminder call and this being the first time I missed an appointment. I really felt I should have been given some leeway but was refused and I paid the charge. I had to get my hearing test done for my license but they could not accommodate me in time, so I went across the street to Hearing Life. They not only got me in right away, but they refused to take any payment. I only bring this up now because I heard that Oticon has a software update, and called AAA to make an appointment. Not only did they not notify me of the update, they refused to make an appointment for me, and this is not a free service. Seems I am a persona non grata. I went across the street to Hearing life and in spite of the fact that I did not buy my hearing aids from them, they did the update for me at no charge. Guess where I will send my friends and buy my next hearing aids. I have refrained from writing this review until I found out that they have dropped me as a client for no apparent reason. Apparently, as was my first impression, customer satisfaction in not a high priority in this particular business. Unless you are willing to pay top dollar they dont want you for a customer. I might add that I have been wearing hearing aids for roughly 40 years, have bought 10 pairs over that time, and all from the same audiologist when I lived off Cape.Joe Apicella
