My van was towed to CarX on October 2,2021 (my birthday) with a flat tire. Bryson was great. He was very professional yet friendly. He was patient with my young grandchildren, especially my autistic granddaughter. He explained everything to me and kept me up to date on the progression of the mechanics. I had to buy a new tire ( hole on outer wall) but they made sure the tire couldn’t be repaired. The mechanics worked fast, the price was compatible, and I was able to salvage what was left of my birthday. Thanks to the entire store for making a bad day seem better. You guys rock!!

I was traveling from out of town when my car started making a loud knocking noise. Robert immediately took my car in 45 minutes before closing on a Friday night. He was able to provide an immediate diagnosis and repair even showing me a video of what he found and why it was malfunctioning. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable from start to finish. Have been using Car-X for all of our oil changes and pre-purchase car inspections for quite a while. They are quick and efficient when performing work, but also are completely honest to you when giving an inspection on a vehicle.Today they saved my wife and I possibly thousands of dollars in repairs for a van we were prepared to buy from a nearby dealership. The van had some hidden problems that were unnoticeable during our test drive, however, the team at Car-X quickly identified some major issues of it for us. I appreciate the team here, and we will continue to use them for all of our future car maintenance!

I have to say these were the best people out there. We were heading to Nashville when we got a nail in our tire. This was not a big leak but we had to get it fixed before moving on our way. So we asked Google for a place near us and they were the closest so we went there with no appointment and they got us right in granted it took a little over 1.5 hours to get us back on the road but they were so nice they did not even charge us anything and wished us well and we are on our way. These were the nicest people and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!! Well Done CarX Well Done

Had a flat 2 miles from my hotel this past weekend. Took it down the road to these guys the next morning and they had me fixed up and back on my way in a timely fashion and I was VERY happy with the price as well. Very nice shop and lobby. Nice guys. Much better than “Wally World”
Had to replace set of tires two weeks earlier because of a blowout. Thankfully got the road insurance, and road debris damaged another tire, it was taken care of without issue. Glad to have this team looking after me. Comfy chairs.

Had my A/C evaporator replaced at Car-X Mason OH, following up on quote from Repair Pal. They did a great job at a much lower price than the dealer quote. Quality was excellent - the fit up looked like it was never touched (the repair required removal of the dash and much more). Matt Fry provided excellent customer service working hard to ensure I was satisfied with the work paying attention to all the details. I have used them before but this was a big job they really delivered on.
Terrible service - dont change oil here! Today my car was leaking oil on the garage floor!! 7 days ago changed oil at car-x and today the low oil pressures came on so I went back to them they were closed at 6.30 pm, Even though google maps shows them open till 7 pm; Next to car x, there is oil express drive thru location so I decided to go there and had them check the car, they found out that the filter is loose! And 4 quarts leaked already they did top up the oil and tighten the filter thanks god they were there!Update aug 15: I received a call from the manager Bryson following up and taking responsibility, he offered an immediate check up and a free oil change on the next visit.

Wish I could leave less than one star. They damaged my vehicle, which they fixed, but that was just the beginning of the comedy of errors. I was ghosted by the manager which I was told several times would call me back. They missed every deadline and promise. Lost rental bill, wrote reimbursement check to the wrong person. Did not replace nor tighten all lug nuts. Had zero dedication to customer service. They made the mistake, not me, I shouldnt be the one calling to get an update on my vehicle. They should have been more proactive and given more accurate information which the district manager agreed with but did not do anything about my inconvenience but apologize and offer to make it up to me if I brought my vehicle back to them for any other repairs. Basically just a waste of time and money. Worst experience with a car shop. I will never go back.

Great service good price. I think a little over zealous I. Wanting ronplease customers and take on jobs a little too much for them. I spent $1100 on some suspension and brake work. Needed a bushing in rear end and took almost 4 days. Overall very happy with them.
My daughters car had a tire blow out. The experience started out great with one of the technicians, but quickly turned to a bad experience with the very rude gentleman who worked up front. That was not the worst part. Long story short, we ended up getting 4 new tires and an alignment. This week her car started shaking and she could barely drive it. I took it to a trusted mechanic who looked it over and discovered the lug nuts were not tightened on one of the tires. He tightened them and then it drove just fine. I was completely infuriated!!!! Luckily, my daughter was safe. As far as the customer service experience - they told me the car would be done by late afternoon. By 5:00. I had not heard from them so I called. They had the wrong cell phone number attached to the ticket - mistakes happen I understand. They told me they had been really busy but it would be done by closing. Ten minutes before closing, I still had not heard from them so I called again and they said it wouldnt be done until the next day. Now I had to take more time off work. The next day, again I didnt hear from them. When I called the gentleman up front he said hed been trying to call me all morning but couldnt get through. I verified he had the correct cell phone and he did. I received phone calls all morning so I dont know what the problem was. In all the communication he was extremely rude and very condescending. I will not recommend them to anyone.

Disappointing at best. We were traveling out of town when our car broke a brake line. I was referred to this shop by a friend based on location. I dropped off the car around 12 pm on a Saturday. Explained my situation with the shop manager that i needed this car repaired today so I can drive home in the evening (1.5 hr away). He said they had the brake line machine in-house and can custom make lines so it shouldnt be any problem. He never indicated that he wouldnt be able to get to my car back the same day. No calls from them so I checked back in at 2:30pm, he said they were pulling it in now. I heard nothing for another 1.5 hour, so I called again at 4pm and he said that they were writing up the estimate just now. I asked, dont you close in 30 minutes? How am I supposed to get home? If I knew he was going to do that I would have gone someplace else!

My family left Columbus this morning for a vacation. I (the Dad) didnt get to go and so I was nervous about sending them out on the road alone. Mom called me an hour out of town and said the car was making a noise. She pulled off and found Car-X and was greeted with exceptional service. Noticing she had small kids in the car, they promptly took the van in to get checked out. They gave her a quick diagnosis and a quick fix and had her on her way. They actually did not even charge her for the quick fix! What kind of company does that! Knowing my family was taken care of and put back out on the road safely is something I cant thank them enough for. Well done, Car-X and thank you very much!

I would like to thank Matt at Car RX in Mason, Ohio, with his help our Christmas was saved! I was traveling with my parents and children, on Christmas Eve, from NJ to Louisville, Kentucky to celebrate the holiday with my sister. On the way, our car had severe tire trouble and we wound up at Car RX off the interstate. Matt was able to see the damage on the tire was severe, the lug nuts broke off and unfortunately, the tire could not be fixed that day. Matt directed me to AVIS directly across the parking lot. While I ran to see if I could rent a car, Matt was helpful and friendly to my parents. If he hadnt recommended AVIS, I would have been stuck far from home with my two young children, my parents on Christmas Eve! We were able to rent a car and I loaded my parents, my kids and the presents and were on our way. While we were away, Matt was able to repair the damage to ensure that we would have a safe trip home. My sincerest thanks to Matt, it is good to know that there are caring employees at Car RX who help out of state travelers get back on the road safely.
I cannot think this establishment enough for their help! The bolts on my break calibers were loose from a previous brake job. They tightened them down replacing one free of charge! They were very quick, efficient and honest. Very pleased!
Found myself in a difficult position one afternoon, out of town on business - the brake line burst on my truck. I had absolutely no brakes, in a cold rain. Car-X squeezed me into their schedule and had me back out the door later that same day.
Confusion is the nicest way to describe my experience with this business. When I called to get a quote on having all four rotors and brakes replaced, I was told that I could use a coupon for 10% off all parts (worth $59 in this case). When I dropped the car off, I was told by the manager that the coupon could not be used as they had applied a discount on the quote they gave me. This was not conveyed in the conversation I had with the floating manager who provided the quote and who said the coupon would be deducted. I also discussed with the manager that my husband wanted to know if they used Toyota parts, as the ones on the car had lasted 90,000 miles, and he said they only use OEM parts. He had to explain that meant original equipment manufacturers. When I picked up the car, I was told that Wagner parts had been put on the car instead of the Toyota parts I thought were being installed. I’m sure a guy would have known what to expect here, but I feel stupid from the apparent miscommunication. The quote from Toyota was only $90 more than what I paid for non-Toyota parts. I really appreciated, not, the discussion that followed with my husband over this situation. Lesson learned!

Brought my rental vehicle into the Car-X in Kings Mill, Ohio with low air pressure and a screw in the tire. Bryson Rice, the manager, Immediately got it to the back and within 20 minutes the screw was removed and tire repaired. Bryson charged my Zero since it was a rental and he knew it would be hard to get that money back from the Car Rental agency.I would recommend this Car-X location to anyone needing service in the Kings Mill area. I will certainly go there again if I have auto issues will visiting this area.
John Keller, manager, is an outstanding person! Ive been to this location many times over the years and always had great service! But this one tops it all! Last month, I had a flat tire, which when air was put in, air came right back out! They didnt have the tire I needed, so I decided to try and make it home so my car would be towed from home. After I left, Mr. Keller looked up my number and called me at home to make sure I had made it home safely! He made no money from me.... just totally thoughtful! The world needs more genuinely caring people, like John Keller! I drive by at least twice a day and think of this incredibly kind act every time!

Definitely less that one star. They quoted me a price of $250 for a window regulator that was $50 online. When I declined the $750 dollar amount job the guy at the front desk was very rude. I definitely would not recommend. At least do your research.
They told me they could fix my car and they made it worse. Drove couple days started smoking white smoke again and leaking something. Told me to bring it back took pic of the leak, ask if he could fix that no they didnt have the right tool even the they did advertise the worked on Porsche. They have kids working on your car. Charged me 1900.00 the guy I talkef to before was transferred and the manager quit. Now just sitting out the undriveable. Dont take your car there. Second time they tore up my car. Only reason I took it there was they advertise they work on Porsche. The mechanic would even talk to me. Ive got it covered and brings me time tears it was my baby. Fighting symphonic care credit cant fix until settled

Our family has used this location for years. Never once have they let us down. Quick diagnoses and quotes. Always on budget. Service quality exceptional. Every employee is friendly and knowledgable. This past week, I needed brakes and tires for my Jaguar XK. Jaguar dealer could see me in a month. Car-X handled everything in a week - plus routine service - and the car is perfect, right on budget (just under, actually) and the set-up of brakes and tires is outstanding. It runs and drives like new. My wifes Mini Cooper John Cooper Works is next in for routine service......
I went for oil change at Kings mills Car-X location. Oil change process was fine but they stole my headlight bulbs. They thought nobody use high beam headlight bulb so they took it out. After 2 days i noticed it. This is such a shameful activity.
The staff is so friendly! They did great work and they even stayed over a little late to make sure everything was finished with my car. I highly recommend these guys!
Yesterday evening (Saturday) around 5:30 I was our running errands and my right front tire started loosing air rapidly so I pulled into the gas station right do the road from this location. Of course I not knowing where the the location of the spare tire is so I decided to call several repair shops and they were all either too busy to even talk to or would not come and assist me, until I got to Bill here at Carx. He explained to me that they were closed and had been for sometime but he was leaving in the next 10-15 minutes and would be more Han happy to stop and assist on his way home. And he did. He changed my spare and even let me know that my brakes were going to need to be replaced revelry soon. It is hard to find people like this these days. I tried to give him a tip and he said that was not necessary that he was just glad to be able to help! Car-X you have got an Amazing employee there and I hope you realize that!
The moment I opened the front door I was greeted by the manager, Bryson with a smile on his face asking how he could help me today. His technician promptly got my vehicle pulled around and started working on my oil change. Bryson and his crew went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was serviced in a timely manner and helped me feel safe by checking all areas to ensure my vehicle safety. Bryson spoke to me in a way I could understand regarding some repairs that need done without pressuring me into buying anything. As a woman, I generally avoid having to deal with auto repair shops as it can be very intimidating. I will definitely be returning as well as recommending this location to my friends and family. Friendly, courteous, respectful!
Really good service with fair prices. I am usually skeptical of chain car repair shops but these guys are pretty legit. Did some research before I had about 1500 dollars worth of work done on two of my cars and they had the most competitive prices off all the places I called. Service is prompt and you can usually pick the car up the same or next day.

Over the years my family and I like others have visited several different auto repair facilities trying to find “the one” we can trust. I have to say we have found ours here at Car-X on Kings Mills! From the time that I spoke to Bill on the phone I could tell that this is the place was different. The service was off the charts! We feelt like we were with family/friends the entire time and was not pressured into purchasing anything like many other places make you feel. This facility was not like others. Not only was it the cleanest auto repair facility I have ever seen but they have leather couches, a big screen tv (the only thing you could improve on here is cable would be nice to have while waiting) and yes even a cappuccino machine.Being in the retail world it is hard to find people like Bill and his staff here. I have had several members of my management staff to call Bill just to see how he interacts with people over the phone and guess what EVERY time they have come back to me and told me the same thing that I experienced and many have ended up making an appointment themselves to have service performed and now this Car-X has become their place to go as well! Great job Bill and staff you continue to WOW! me EVERY time!!I guarantee this will become your place as well if you give them a chance!

In my experience you can trust CarX over other shops. Over the course of 5 visits at two locations Ive always been treated well and charged fairly.They helped me with fairly major brake work today and it was no different.

Shady and dishonest. I brought my car in for brakes and rotors. When I left, I noticed my air conditioner making a loud/obnoxious noise. I returned to their shop before leaving their parking lot. As part of their attempted up-sell process, they had checked (broken) the blower motor. They said it was likely a leaf and normal use would eventually fix the noise. It did not. They then refused to cover the repairs on an issue they caused. They offered free labor on blower motor replacement and had the audacity to recommend they do my rear brakes as well.I will not let this establishment touch my vehicle.
I visited this location because of a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did great work with my car. I have absolutely no complaints about their service.

EX: MY PARTS WERE ORIGINAL PARTS $124 FROM DEALERSHIP AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME ALMOST $400 FOR AFTER MARKET PARTS. THEY ARE THE BIGGEST DISHONEST PEOPLE.CUSTOMER NEXT TO ME CAME FOR 4 NEW TIRES AND HE WAS QUOTED $1300 by the TIME THEY WERE DONE WITH HIS CAR, THEY MADE HIM PAY OVER $2000.These people are a total scam. They are charging people for problems that never existed. Their main goal is to rip people off.

After having a problem with my truck, at a sister location, the district manager had me take it so they could evaluate the problem. Rather than evaluate the problem, they told me it was not their issue, but if I spent $454, to replace a seal ($35 part, and 30 to 45 minutes work), they could take another look. If that had been my issue, fine, but they were double the price to have it done at several other shops in the area.Funny things is, another guy was in getting a quote for spark plug wires, they quoted him $454 too. Coincidence?Took my truck elsewhere. The actual repair did cost me a lot more, but these guys are gouging folks in trouble.
Went there today, the gentleman that helped was so kind and so nice. The man I talked to on the phone John...is great. I come to this location because they are awesome. Ive been the union cemetery location which is closer to my home, but they have horrible customer service.I hope the Kings Mill guys see this. I will always come back. Ive been treated well everytime. I am a single mother who was on a mini vacation with my 3 boys to Kings Island on June 2017, and 5 miles from our hotel I discover my tire is losing pressure and there is nothing around. With assistant from a sheriff I made it to a gas station to get enough air in the tire to make it to our hotel, this was after 11pm at night, so nowhere to get a tire repair or replacement. I called all ove rthe next morning and no luck. John told me if I could wait until 10am he had an extra tech coming in and he would see what he could do. I called John at 930am stating no-one but a towing company could help me. Car-x was half mile from my hotel, so a tech came took the tire off, they repaired it and put it back on while I went to Kings Island to enjoy the day with my boys. I am so grateful for the kindness and generosity from Car-x, John and his employees. I hope you all enjoyed the cookies i dropped off! Thanks again and God Bless!!

I’ve tried over 3 visits always issues always sloooowwwww! Today’s issue no transmission fluid for my 2016 Hyundai as it “takes special fluid” hmmm. Doubt it but even if does tell me at the start of the job not after flushing then telling me when I can’t drive away and go elsewhere but yet wait 3hours for trans flush and oil change! Ridiculous! Because they’re waiting on their local part supplier for transmission fluid?!?! I don’t care if they’re cheaper PLEASE DONT GO HERE!!

I will never be back. 3 times I’ve been turned down for service and I’m appalled!About a year ago, I came in with a Groupon for a $17.99 oil change. They told me it would be 2 weeks before they could get it in! For an oil change?!? So I took it to the oil express place next door and they honored the groupon. (Good for them!Fast forward to about 2 months ago and I get the groupon again. Remembering the issues last time, I go on and make an appointment. When I show up, the computer “lost” my appointment. I showed them the confirmation on my phone and they said, “Sorry! It’ll be 4 hours before we can get to it.” 4 HOURS FOR AN OIL CHANGE?!? So the manager was nice enough to give me a coupon for a free one. Again, I had a local guy honor my groupon and I got it done.This morning, my wife’s van needed changed so I thought I’d get up early and show up there before the day got started and get a free oil change. I drive 20 miles out of my way each way to go to the store, show up at 7:30 at open and the manager tells me that he doesn’t have time. That he would be happy to book for an appointment in the next few days but he is too busy. When I point out that 4 of the 6 bays are empty and that I drove all this way to get an oil change. He says that I should’ve made an appointment. I explained what happened last time and he says “Sorry...” and walks away!Free, groupon, whatever “deal” there may be, I will now just pay more to never go back to CarX. It’s absolutely appalling that it takes 4 hours or more to get an oil change especially when 4 of your 6 bays are open! Will never go back!

I went there a week ago and was told my axel shift was broken and leaking. The man working said it would be 600$ to fix. I got a second and third opinion and nothing was wrong with my axel shift. Big Scam! Stay away!
Do not get your car fixed here. Everytime i fixed my car here a new problem would come up. They give very high estimates. I had to get my brakes fixed and they quoted 1600$ to replace all the parts even if it wasnt really needed. Firestone fixed my brakes for 250$ and my car hasnt given me problem.
