I had them replace the motor on my window. Worked fine for about 3 weeks then began to come back down about 2 inches when you roll it up. I took it back and explained. They kept it for two hours and their diagnosis was that this is a safety feature. Like its normal to roll your window up and then have it drop back down so you have to roll it up again. I know that electric windows are designed to roll back down when met with resistance - that is the safety feature they are referring to, but when the resistance is the top of the window opening and it comes back down, theres the problem!I couldnt believe that they tried to get me to believe that this is how a window is supposed to operate! I asked, so all new cars have windows that roll back down a couple of inches when you roll them up? They had no answer for that.Just be honest - if you dont know whats wrong with it or how to fix it properly, just say so and Ill take it somewhere else. But to try to sell it off as this is normal is incredibly insulting to anyones intelligence. This was obviously their way of not sinking any more time (which means money) into fixing something that they were already paid to fix correctly the first time.This is about as dishonest as it gets.Ill be spreading the word around at work and with my friends and family.This is why so many people dont trust mechanics in general.

Okay y’all need to go here for real. They have wonderful customer service and they treat you as a person. By they I mean Mike Lennon!!! The man deserves to own the business. When I walked in he asked me my name after telling me his name of course. I don’t know why that was such a bug deal to me but I guess cause I never been asked that before. He kept me entertained and it was fun to be there. I was there for at least an hour and it felt like 20 minutes. Thank you so much Mike for taking care of me. I will be back.

Great Experience! I brought in my Mercury for some tests and inspections - they called me in the middle of the tests they were running to keep me updated and after to let me know what they found. They worked so fast it was very convenient. They explained everything to me with respect and were extremely accommodating. 10/10 would recommend!!

This is a top notch shop and Denny has quickly become my go to mechanic. He will take the time to make the vehicle right, not just done. My entire family is thrilled to have stumbled upon them and will driving the extra miles to bring in our cars. Its well worth the drive to get a job done right the first time!

We were a half hour into our road trip to Pittsburgh when our tire light came on. We stopped at this location and they tried to figure out why the light wouldnt go out even after buying a new tire. It turns out we just needed to drive a bit longer for the light to go out. The two ladies that worked there were very nice and helpful. They brought a guy out to help us..He was very helpful also. It was my first time here to change oil and I dealt with Chris (I hope I got his name right😅). He was professional, it was great except for the mechanic lady who was about to attack me when I entered the workshop after 30 min. I was told it will be ready in half an hour so I headed to the nearest place to drink coffee and wait. So when I got back I entered the workplace because nobody was in the waiting area! I anticipated from the way she treated me that I don’t suppose to be there when I asked her she said yes. Okay! I didnt know that they dont allow customers to get in, in my country it is oky to go inside with the mechanic! When I asked friends they told me they do this for safety reasons. That’s good, I didn’t like her attitude though. She could’ve chosen to be polite because I’m paying her money otherwise there are plenty of mechanics in the town. Just wanted to point that out.

I went to the Monro in Mason, OH on 3/19/19 to get new tires on my car. They did match the price of another tire place which was good and they put the tires on in an hour. However, while putting my tires on they managed to scratch/gouge all 4 rims (a couple pictures provided for reference). Its crazy they did not stop after damaging the first rim. Luckily, I checked my rims before leaving. I was told they would reimburse me for the repairs. They should pay the place repairing the rims directly rather than making a customer pay and get reimbursed. I took my car to get repaired on 3/28 getting it back on 3/29. The manager said he would submit for my reimbursement when I gave him the receipt on 3/29; I have not yet received a reimbursement. I called Josh (manager) at the store on 4/23 and was told he was not there but would call me back, as of 4/25 I have still not heard back from him so I called the corporate office to be told they needed a copy of the receipt (I ended up emailing to the rep I spoke with). I guess no one was going to call me to tell me this. Point of this one star review, if you go here for tires (I recommend you DO NOT) check your rims for damage before leaving.update 5/9: still waiting reimbursementUpdate 5/10: finally received reimbursement

My husband purchased brakes and didnt have time to install them before leaving on a trip. I called multiple places and most would not install our parts. Not only did they install our parts they got our car in the next morning. They did a great job for a great price. I would use them again!

Our car that we got from Sandusky Ohio from a dealership it’s called stienle dealership in Sandusky Ohio. They told us that our breaks are good to go but they were not. They completely lied about the breaks on our car. But likely we toke our car to this car place and they did the sweetest thing that I could never ever happen in our lives. This guy name Mike gave my husband a $150 dollar check. That guy should be on TV for that because if you pass it on forword you will get a positive act of kindness. Second place I took my BMW to to get a warranty windshield washer fluid issues looked at, they actually listened looked and fixed it unlike the other place! Really impressed with this store and their people!

This is probably the best experience I have had at any non-dealer auto location. The guys I worked with were/are extremely nice, communicative, and the work was done professionally at a great price. They were able to get me in quickly and very accommodating when I had a TPMS sensor issue post-install. Highly recommend!

I stopped by on a cold day. My tires needed air. The manager was there and he happily offered to put air in my tires. I always tip good because I know they do not make any money on this. I am happy to tip as I do not want to get on the cold ground and do this job. He did it with a smile. I will definitely return when I need brakes or any other services they offer.

I went to Monro(#848) on Bardes Rd today Jan.19, 2021. I went initially to have a headlight bulb replaced but ended up having them do an oil change as well. After talking with the manager(Mike) i/we decided on the higher grade oil which would be the 5000 mile oil replacement. When I 1st communicated with Mike the manager I informed him that we had not been to that location in a while due to the type of service wed been receiving. He reassured us that things would be better and to give him a shot. Once my vehicle was finished I headed home BUT noticed that the sticker wasnt for the 5000 mile oil change.(no biggie). I called to inform Mike as a measure for him to retrain this individual NOT TO ARGUE back& forth about it. Mikes response was that he was new& used to putting 3000 miles stickers on🤔 He then tells me I can come back& get a new sticker. I told him that I wasnt coming back for a sticker& that I could add 2000 miles to what it said. My reason for calling was to inform him of what happened so that it doesnt happen to someone else. My other concern was did I pay for a 5000 mile oil change and get a 3000? If I were Mike, having known that there were Previously issues I would have double checked this new guy as he called him. Monro WILL NOT GET ANY MORE OF OUR MONEY. Mike..DID I EVEN GET WHAT I PAID FOR? Since Im on here...they also put date of service as 1-21? Was he used to only putting that date on stickers as well!?? Mike as a manager did you do your due diligence????

Came in for an oil change and a few minor inquiries regarding a rattling noise from the exhaust pipe, a internal rear panel that had fallen off and a couple others. Had great customer service and service in general, and dealt with Mike Moran the new Manager at this location who handled my issue (and a few others they found) very kindly, quickly and at a price much lower than I was expecting. Overall really impressed, will be coming here again without question and recommending this place to others for sure.

I was hesitant to go back here for warranty brake pads after my previous experience getting an oil change and inspection. HOWEVER, after speaking with the new Manager, Mike Moran, over the phone he promised to make things right after hearing about my last visit there in early 2020. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment he was there, got my car right in, brought me back to see the repairs that were needed (and ones that werent that I was previously told were needed), and got the warranty work completed quickly.Mikes exceptional customer service has saved a long-term customer for Monro. I love an honest manager at car repair shops- those are rare to find! Theres a new mananger at this location who is genuinely nice and goes above and beyond. I didnt know what was wrong with my car, thought it was time for new brakes, but he educated me on what other things could happen when a car shakes and how to fix that, but wanted to confirm his thoughts by seeing my car first. This is what I expect from someone treating my car. I once went to a car repair shop that told me I needed a transmission flush because the fluid was horrible, but didnt check that they were the ones to perform it a week prior. I have many more nightmare stories about car repair shops, but Ill spare you since you can relate to shiesty mechanics. This is definitely my forever car doctor from here on out.

I always take our cars to Monro auto service, on Bardes Rd.They do a great job and do not try to add costs and servicesthat I do not need. They are quick and include tire rotation,unlike most others, with oil change. They have earned mytrust and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Took my brand new car there for a simple oil change and the guy working was so rough with my car. I had a nail in my tire where they had ran over one, refused to take it out because they are not responsible. I would never take my car ever again. I dont fully remember the guys name but i think it was Ronald or Robert or something.

I was struggling trying to find tires for my truck until I stopped in at monroe. Robert helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Got my tires put on my new rims today. This is a very honest shop where I came in under the impression (might I add from the dealership) that I would need to buy new brakes but the mechanic shop was very honest telling me that I will not need any brakes since they looked brand new. I recommend this shop even without them doing any work for their complete honesty!

Lately it seems like I’ve been here all the time for random car things. They have always been super helpful and polite! There was a time when they were willing to drive to my work to look at my car. A+ for customer service!They only fix what is what is broken and their prices are always reasonable (they didn’t charge me today for a minor fix). I will definitely continue to bring my car here.

Moved to Ohio from Kentucky recently and I always took my car to a dealership. First time customer here. Travis was really nice. He did my oil change and tire rotation and break check service in 30 minutes with no problem. Its cheaper and faster than a dealership. I will be going here for now on for my services!

Been taking my car to Monro for a while now for routine oil changes. Recently, the heat in my Jeep stopped working. Monro know what to do and did it at a very fair price! Heat is blasting as well as when I bought it in 2013!

I needed some brake work done on my car ASAP and thanks to Travis I was able to get in same day! Very professional and knowledgeable! The price was also very affordable which my bank account appreciated. I would definitely recommend Monro.

On my way home from work today, I managed to find a pothole that destroyed a tire. Monro was able to get me in, change four tires and do an alignment so I can get back home. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable

I walked into this location with a heavy heart. The staff (Danny) was superb with their service. But more important for me right now they have renewed my faith in the Beauty of the Human Spirit!

I had my oil change scheduled for 9:00 am and I was in and out in just over a half hour. The courtesy inspection showed the car in good shape, just some minor items that could be done later and absolutely no pressure to get them done immediately. Nice clean waiting area. To top off my experience I asked if there was any coffee and the manager, Josh Sloan, said there was not. He then went out of his way to a coffee shop nearby and brought me back a hot cup of joe!Great service, great price. Ill definitely be back!!!

Got my oil changed and totally forgot to mention my tire needing a patch when I made the oil change appointment. I asked if they had time to patch it when I showed up and they didnt get irritated at all. Was getting ready to drive 800 miles for vacation and woke up to a flat tire. Got the car to Monro and Josh replaced the valve stem right away and at no charge! Great guy. Definitely recommend him.

Awesome service, Im from out of town and these guys gave a great deal for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation... Only thing weird, was they marked my air filter as yellow on inspection i have a K&N air intake filter. I just installed it, i even have the warning sticker place on the intake. I can guarantee no one checked my air intake. Besides that $64 for full synthetic oil change and tire rotation.... They could tell me they work for the queen of england, and Id still come back. 👍

Terrible customer service we broke down from out of town they didnt have the tires we needed for trailer so we had some brought in the mechanics all sit out back on cell phones talking not getting anything done while we are trying to get back on the road I am just blowed away that it takes 2 hrs to do a 10 min job there not even putting them on the trailer just mounting on rim we are doing the hard work I dont recommend this place to anyone

I went in to get my spare tire repaired and was greeted by Josh who was very helpful. I dont know a lot about tires and he simply told me what was wrong and very quickly did the repair.

Dangerous serviceI had my second oil change done on my brand new car at this location. The next day - while driving down the highway - there was a loud smacking/thumping sound. I had to pull off on the side of a busy interstate system to investigate. After looking under the car I found my skid plate was dangling by a single bolt.If they can improperly install a simple skid plate Im curious what else they couldve messed up.Oh and their solution was to offer me replacements for the 5 missing bolts

Absolutely shady operation. Came in this morning for a oil change. Was told they could set me up with an appointment for 1:00. Set up appointment and was told it would be 14.99 for the oil change. Came back at 1 for appointment. Waited til 1:45 and was told it would be 37.99 total. No thank you. Wasted my time and also tell me it will cost me 20 something more dollars.

I have been taking my car to this company for quite some time now. I will even go out of my way to visit one of their stores, and hadnt had a bad experience yet. Theyre helpful, courteous, and fast, no matter which location I go to. I hope to continue my experiences with them for years and cars to come.

Earlier today, my husband went to this Monro location in order to receive a few repairs on his vehicle. The new store manager, Danny, was the one who assisted us along the way. We advised Danny that we would be paying $300 in cash and charging the rest of the payment to a certain type of credit card. We asked Danny if the shop accepts this unique type of card before agreeing to have any repairs done on the vehicle. Danny, whom is the manager, told us yes the credit card is accepted. Danny, even called higher up to double check and ensure that the shop would be able to accept this credit card. Danny assured us it would be fine to apply the rest of our bill to this credit card... At that point we agreed to the service being under the impression that we would be able to make split payment, cash and credit card.Of course, once the car repairs were completed, Dan, whom is the manager, decides to inform my husband that the shop actually does NOT accept that form of payment, forcing us to pay over $700 out of our pocket that we did not have. Dan showed absolutely NO remorse on behalf of HIS mistake. When we asked Dan is there anyway he can help us out being that this is an error on the company, Dan told us he has a family to worry about. My husband is the bread winner in our home. I am 9 months pregnant, therefore I am unemployed and clearing out our savings was the last thing we could afford to do. Dan made it clear that his family is more important than ours. Had we have known that the shop did not accept that particular form of payment we would have taken our business elsewhere. This is absolutely absurd and ridiculous beyond my belief. Very, very misleading and untrustworthy.

Took my 2010 GMC Acadia in for what I thought was a starter issue. It turns out it wasnt a starter or ignition issue. The mgr and his team spent 4 days trying to resolve the issue, only after did they resort to sending me to the dealer to resolve (anti theft lock). Theres a lot of shops out there that would have gouged me on labor and parts the car didnt even need. I appreciate the staffs integrity, hard work and dedication. They have definitely earned my continued business.

I believe the mechanic misdiagnosed the problem. Ended up replacing all four rotors to correct a vibration problem which was likely caused by a single warped rotor.

They put oil stains on my Caddilacs Carpet during an oil change from mechanics footprint.And following weekend dropped my Cavelier off for oil change they had it for 8 hours was supposed to adjust headlights and replace fog light bulb.When I picked up car asked if they did it They said they didnt have time.Notified corporate if both incidents .Never heard back from corporate .

If i could give zero stars i would. Put vaulty valve stems on my brand new tires and now, one by one, they are just popping off. And this joke of a business refuses to replace them. Horrible business. Awful work ethic. Even worse management. What a joke.

Customer service is terrible. Store manager will not help out with an issue no matter how smart if o to is going to cause there store to lose money. Never do business here for any reason unless you are prepared to come out of pocket for any warranty work. Warranty expires as soon as you leave the store. I will never do business here again.

Had new brakes installed. Had shuddering in front end. Monroe immediately and with zero hassle changed out the brakes again. All is good.
