Our experience with this company was very good.We initially just wanted to have them provide a second opinion for our system security and we ended up hiring them to manage our systems.We were very impressed with their knowledge and their hands on skill was frankly out of this world. For two weeks our other support company attempted to resolve a serious system issues and within an hour GetTeck had the issue resolved.They are a wealth of knowledge and very approachable and clear. My laptop recently died, and for a very modest fee they helped me to scout and find a very sharp, very reasonably priced laptop. It just took ten minutes on the phone. Quick and easy to work withAfter returning home from a 2 week vacation, I powered up my system only to have the hard drive fail. The worst experience. I read reviews, they were relatively close, seemed like a good place. I needed my PS3 fixed. It wouldnt see a game disc. Played movies(DVDs). Not games. If I messed with putting the game in over and over, it might play. It wasnt working. I took it in, told classic lense problem, couple days. Two and a half weeks later, its not fixed, get it back and it is more broken than before. Wont even spin the disc. Im not even going to go into the conversation. Being told that them unplugging cables makes it not work anymore. Nonsense.Save yourself a headache and go anywhere else.To be honest, the lady there was as nice as can be considering I was irate. She offered to give me her childs console to make it right. I declined because thats not fair. Im not trying to get something for free. It was broken. Its just more broken now.

Mike and team were very helpful, high level of customer service and very good at what they do. I brought them two laptops, one which I actually thought was dead so I had already purchased another... and my wifes laptop which wouldnt boot up. They diagnosed them on site and a week later (I wasnt in a rush) both of the laptops were running like new AND I did not lose any data. The price was right and they even gave me some great recommendations on general use of the systems at home (e.g. dont use FREE antivirus, pay for it).On another note the same day I picked up my laptops our office network went down. Our corporate office was troubleshooting the issue but there is only so much they could do remotely. I called Mike at 9am and he was at my office by 10:30 fixing the issue! Awesome company to work with and great personalities to boot!We had what turned out to be a very sophisticated issue across multiple Master Domains and the other tech companies we hired could not figure out why the backup server would not communicate with two of our child domains. Cumulatively the other companies invested over 20 hours at attempting to resolve this issue at, might I add, a significant cost to us, and they were no closer to solving the issue than when they began.Geteck came in and within an hour and a half had not only resolved the communication issues with our child domains but also addressed a dozen other concerns we had been living with just because no one knew how to resolve them.Trust me . . . you absolutely want GetTeck on your team!

After I stupidly spilled coffee on my brand new laptop, I called around and GetTeck offered a firm estimate and a quick turnaround of a few business days, which was important because the laptop is what I use for classes, and I brought it in the day after calling.Unfortunately, a few business days turned into two weeks, and upon receiving my laptop again, it would not charge, wouldnt even turn on if not plugged in, the keyboard was popping out and what had been a touch screen was no longer working.I called and was told to bring it back, theyd fix it for free (which I appreciate) and that it wasnt GetTecks policy to half fix an item.Well another week or so passed, and when I finally called I was told that they still needed a day. The touch screen is fixed, but the keyboard is still popping out; the bottom row of the keyboard seems to be warped, it still wont turn on unless its plugged in, it dies immediately if its not connected to a power source and the casing seems to be bent along the bottom.Overall the best things I can say is that the employees were friendly and pricing was good, but if you actually want something fixed right try somewhere else.

The folks at this Electronics Repair Store are Super, and I give them 10 Stars out of a possible 5. Ive had electronic repairs (mostly cellphones and personal computers repaired or serviced at Micro Center, the Geek Squad, the DaytonIT Computer Shop and some other lesser known. GetTeck is the best for knowledge, expertise, friendliness, prices, etcetera. If you have an electronics problem and you want it done right, this is the place, as Brigham Young would say.

Getteck is awesome! I work from home full time and have 3 young boys so free time for me is rare. Getteck was able to help me find the best computer for my needs, transfer my old info to my new computer and then deliver and set everything up for me so that I didnt have to use a ton of my time in doing all of this. They made everything SO EASY and customer service is A++. I just had an issue with my computer and they were able to fix it remotely for me, once again saving me tons of time. I can not say enough great things about this company. No need to go any where else!

Terrible service. I brought in 2 PS3 Controllers, it took over 3 months for them to be finished when they said a month at the most. The man who did my controllers said both of them worked once they were done. I went home, and only one of them worked. Ive asked for a follow up and he has just ignored me. Such was the case in my formerly, blissful piece of technical real estate, on an otherwise uneventful day several weeks ago. I discovered GetTeck via Google search, and elected to contact them after preliminarily gleaning GetTecks reputation by reading the many testimonials of customer satisfaction. Also, I found the companys pick-up service to be a very attractive feature. Right away, I was pleased by Mikes personable, knowledgeable and professional communication: he listened patiently as I described the issues with my system. Nothing inspires consumer confidence toward a good product or service, like a strong, positive gut-feeling at the onset. My conversation with Mike produced this positive result. The willingness of GetTeck to stand behind their work through warranty speaks volumes. GetTeck did a resoundingly excellent job at repairing my PCs capacitors and motherboard. My system was cleaned and checked for problems. GetTecks level of quality assurance, or test and re-test repairs, ensured that my returned system works without a hitch, and far better than it ran before its issue. Even more superlatively impressive: Mike made an emergency service call to my home to repair a separate self-imposed issue that occurred when I attempted to repartition my hard drive without success. Mike spent approximately 1 1/2 hours in the late evening rescuing my system. This impromptu service call was appended to the end of an extremely long work day that involved at least one trip out of town. Great Work, Great People, Fairly PricedFirst used them when my desk top was so confused that it would take over an hour to get my business running in the morning. A very competent and helpful technician came to my home office,cleand things up, installed additional memory, and things have been great since. I called them again when I was having trouble setting up my wireless router for my new,first lap top. Tech was there within 2 hours of my cry for help. Wirelsess installed, skypes installed, and he patiently spent much quality time with me simplifying the first time use of my new lap top. I highly recommend them for their quality personal service.

BE WARNED! I brought my iPhone 5S in w/ a broken screen. Heres what I got for my $110:1. new piece of glass2. BROKEN motion detector (that shuts off the screen when its near your face so you dont push buttons w/ your face while talking on the phone.)3. Volume so low I could only use the phone w/ earbuds.4. Cant answer calls if the screen needs to be swiped (because its in hibernation). I end up hanging up on the caller.5. The phones vibrate doesnt work.6. Attitude from punk ass twenty something year kids. So the second and third times i went back to get the problems fixed, I did so with significant dominant attitude of my own. I made sure other customers in the place heard me so they could save themselves while they still could.These are complicated machines that a simple glass replacement isnt so simple and with an aftermarket place like this place, theres no recourse if it doesnt work afterwards.I regret going there and cant wait for when im eligible for an upgrade (which unfortunately is 10 miserable months away). I used to like my phone now it is endlessly frustrating.It there was a 0 star option on Google, Id give it to this place

Had a laptop that would not boot intermittently and took it in to GetTeck. Their eval fee was just $45. They troubleshot the problem and determined it was the motherboard, ordered a replacement and reassembled the laptop. While not a cheap repair it was a lot cheaper than a new PC. This is a great service. Everyone needs GetTeck to prevent an issue on your computer. Just recently i received an email, a notice, a phone call from a fake Microsoft teck saying my computer was hacked. Guess what, i called Get Tech and he 1) Told me to ignore the calls 2) He looked on my computer by remote and clean out my cache. I am back in business and happy knowing that Get Teck has my back. I must say, over my lifetime since computers entered our lives (I have worked in various key positions for OEMs of computers and related hardware throughout the U.S. for over 30 years now), that I have never experienced such a class operation, with the knowledge and particularly not rushing me out the door (well I am like family now as I was there for over 5 hours) last Saturday (2/28/2015) when they close at 2:00 PM. My wife and I were visiting with our daughter who attends the University and she had been having problems with her computer locking up, etc. It is an Apple (Mac) so we first went to the Apple Store at Kenwood Mall and they (Apple) did explain to us, it was a problem with the software and they would fix it free, however our daughter would lose everything on her hard drive. They said the only way to save all would be to transfer it to another computer. We tried that night for over 2 hours, did not work. On Saturday morning I googled where I may be able to take it in and wait while we were still visiting and I found GetTeck. I liked the reviews, plus that they were members of BBB and Angies List. Now as we know with reviews, right, their friends, kids, kids friends could write a review. I called around 9:30 AM and Mike (Owner, which I did not know he was the owner on the phone) told me the store opened at 10 and to bring it in and what I described to him he was confident they could help me out. I arrived at the store around 10:15 AM and Teri was the only one there. I am right, this guy on the phone sends me to a store where this lady is only taking in computers, so I am now stuck and they got me in the door! Now I spoke to Teri (did not know her name then) on my arrival and explained and told her I had my company computer in my car if she could just transfer the files to that. Well that would not work so I went to get a coffee, walked in to see her taking the hard drive out of the Apple. My God, what was this lady thinking???? Then she explained she was going to put the hard drive in one of their computers. Hey, it worked, this lady knew what she was doing and quite well. Enough, I need to shorten this up. Mike came in so eventually I learn they are married and own GetTeck. Teri suggested I might want to get a 32 MB thumb drive as come to find out my daughter had over 10,000 pictures, lots of music and yes, files from attending college for 1 1/2 years now. End results, 5 hours later, no rush and their staying well past closing time, they had me out the door with all saved to the hard drive. They knew the importance of getting this resolved while we were visiting our daughter and wow, they are without any question in our minds HEROs to my daughter, my wife and especially me as my life became salvageable in all eyes. They could have ripped me off and I would have paid it as all would have been worth it. Instead I walked out paying less then $ 100. Unbelievable!!!! I again have never experienced something so great in the related I.T. Industry. In conversation with Mike, they would have driven to the University, met my daughter and returned the computer to her at no pick up or delivery charge. I found out they offer that same service to individuals and business throughout Cincinnati and surrounding areas, so if someone needs excellent service, not wanting to be ripped off and from a great couple, you really need to contact them. I passed along the exact info to the Specialist at Apple when I took the computer back late on Saturday and he and another employee said they will be keeping that in mind for other customers who may need service outside Apple......Teri and Mike; THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!! Hurry up and expand to Columbus, I will get you business! Always, Gary (Side Note: As to one negative comment in the reviews I saw, I was able to observe several customers visiting their shop with iPhones, computers, etc., and not one was upset nor dissatisfied and their demeanor is extreme professional in all areas)....

I asked Mike to assist with a Quicken problem that Quicken couldnt figure out and Mike jumped on it immediately and had the problem resolved within 30 minutes, fantastic service!!
