Long post: After having been turned away at a local dealership I walked into Gerber Collision during a snow storm with a window that wouldnt roll up. Not only did I receive a warm welcome but they were willing to look at my window for me! I needed to order a part for the repair which took longer than expected to come in. When I called the production manager was understanding, told me not to worry and to call once the part came in. Fast forward 3 weeks later the part came in and I was able to walk in and have the part replaced.They were pleasant, professional, accommodating, helpful beyond expectation and truly blessed my situation! I also couldnt help but notice the interactions they had with other customers that were serviced during both of my visits and the customer service was awesome . I have been to many repair/ service shops over the years but I can truly say that Gerber Collision in Matteson went above and beyond to help me, and Im confident that they provide the same standard of care to all of their customers!

It took almost two weeks for my partners car to get fixed which was much longer than the anticipated date they gave us. Otherwise service was great and the car works well now

I have a broken high break light that Gerber replaced for me.

I never ended up getting my car repaired here because there was more damage than expected so my insurance company ended up totaling my car out. While my vehicle was in there possession my Vehicle registration and sticker came up missing. I ended up having to file a police report for a stolen sticker. I spoke with a gentleman that worked for Gerber that basically said he didn’t know what happened ( even though the vehicle was locked and they had the keys) and that I could go file a police report.

They do great body work.... They were working on a car that my son brought. They called me and informed me that there was previous frame damage to the car and that it was unsafe. We were able to contact the dealer and thankfully we were able to smoothly rectify this.

I was rear ended & Gerber Collision restored Black Betty to her original glory! I am extremely satisfied & I highly recommend using them for vehicle repairs. The staff explained everything to me in great detail, and made calls for me when it came to obtaining a car rental. When I had a hiccup with the rental company they were quick to the care of it. They didnt have to do that, but were willing to go above & beyond. Service was quick & they took care of all my concerns.

Went there to have damage to my car assessed. I thought they could have done a better assessment because ultimately the damage was substantially more extensive than quoted. Not sure that I would go again.

Fabian examined my car for the estimate, and he and Jorge did a great job of showing me how they would repair the damage I had done to my bumper, and were able to give me a great estimate that was less than other shops. Jorge even took my car in the shop while I waited for an estimate on the tear to my bumper cover, and reattached my bumper for free, with no promise of me coming back. I will definitely come to them for this repair and future repairs, if needed.

TERRIFIC service. The Body professionals are definetly on top of their game. Its amazing how good those guys are. Been to Gerber in Matteson a few times. They have never let me down. If you are self-paying do not go here. They wanted 3900.00 for a job on a Sable that was repaired elsewhere for 625.00 You read that correctly, 625 dollars instead of 3900.

THey have repaired my car twice and my husbands once. The work is excellent and so is the customer service.
