Love, love, love this salon. They really listen to what you are looking for and make great suggestions along the way. I have been going here for years and pretty much give them Carte Blanche in making choices for me from haircut to hair color to product. They have never steered me wrong!

I went to Attitude salon for hair styling for a special event and my experience was amazing! Emily was super patient and literally re-did my hair style 3 times because I kept changing my mind. She took her time, listened to me, and made me feel super at ease. She did an awesome job. Everyone was very kind and they even gave me an umbrella because it was pouring! Which I definitely need to bring back.. thank you!

I had color, Brazilian blowout and haircut and style. Ally was friendly, listened to my needs and was very professional. This was a hard decision for me because I just moved to the area from Chicago and have been going to my old salon & colorist for about 25 years. Casey at Attitudes is amazing! I followed her from another salon and she is the absolute best. My hair is long, thick and there is a LOT of it. Casey perfectly highlights, cuts and styles it into wonderfulness. I have naturally strawberry blonde and Casey is a total experienced pro at coloring red hair. Personally I like it a brighter red and she makes it the perfect natural red color. I have seen many of her happy blonde clients as well, if thats your jam. I know she has alot of experience doing blue, purple, pink, etc. See Casey and you will be so happy.

Loved everything about the experience, even wanted to buy some products afterwards. Then I went to pay. I was sitting at $20 shy of of a whopping $300!!!Woah.I’ve been spoiled by my usual girl. I had to put the product back so that I could afford to tip.Would love to come back one day, when I can afford to just throw money around.That’s a car payment for some people. I just can’t.

I found Attitudes A Salon on Google and with their glowing reviews I took a chance and booked a consultation to discuss fixing my awful grown out box dyed firetruck red hair. From the very beginning Ally was so sweet and took the time to talk with me and decide on what was realistic to do with my hair to fix it and get it to the blonde look I wanted. Two weeks later I went back and spent a little under 5 hours in her chair going through a color correction and it turned out BEAUTIFUL! Ally was FANTASTIC and answered every question I had. She made the 5 hours fly by and constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable and okay. By far the BEST experience I have had with a salon ever!!

Mikayla did a fantastic job. She made me look like a whole new person. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she made me look like a model.I got my hair cut, style, and colored. I highly recommend this salon. If I could give it a million stars I would. I will be going back. And prices are also very reasonable. Very polite and courteous.

I went in this salon about 5 years ago and swore Id never go back as I was treated rudely. WOW have they changed! As I live very close by, I went in today for a consult for wedding day hair (to be close to home). The receptionist and the stylist (Emily) were both delightful and easy to talk to. I have booked my big day with them and have been won over.

They listen to their clientst needs and desires. Give suggestions and ideas but wait on the customers input before cutting and styling. The team is knowledgeable and trained to keep up with the newest styles, but are accommodating to those who want more traditional looks.

I have very short, thin & fine hair. There really isn’t anything that could be done with my hair except cut it shorter. Erica put extensions in & it looks amazing! She is patient, explains every aspect of it & on top if it a beautiful person inside & our! The salon has an upbeat, friendly atmosphere. I am from NY but it is worth every mile of the 10 hour trip for this outcome! ❤️

I first started going to this salon three years ago. As long as it’s around I’ll be a loyal customer. It’s one of the few salons I’ve been to that understands my hair type and gives me a fantastic cut every time. I even take my young kids here, because the stylists go the extra mile to make them feel comfortable. Best salon in the Matthews area, in my opinion.

What a breath of fresh air!!! After my stylist of 25 years moved out of state, I was nervous about trying someone new. I did my due diligence and landed here. April is my stylist and did an excellent job on my trim and natural highlights. I am very excited about returning :)

I went for a root refresh recently and Emily was my stylist. She did an AMAZING job. I had silver blonde hair, and my roots were dark blonde and around 3 inches long on each side. Emily blended my hair perfectly and I liked the results so much that I decided to keep the light blonde rather than touching up the silver. I would recommend Attitudes A Salon, and Emily, to anyone!

Great location and service! Everyone was really friendly and talented. I knew I wanted a change (color and cut) but wasnt sure exactly what. I gave a vague description of what I had in mind and they talked to me about options and what would best compliment my features and hair type. We ended up with a color melt from dark to light and I absolutely adore it! My stylist Melissa was very talented with coloring and constantly monitored the color as it lifted to make sure everything was coming along in a way we both were happy with (A natural transition from dark to light) Id def. go back-ask for Melissa or April!

Really nice atmosphere. Was an attractive salon. Easy to get appointment for cut and color but wasnt wowed by the stylist. She did a decent job but didnt leave feeling like a million bucks, like I am used to after getting a good color and cut.

I have been a client at Attitudes A Salon for a couple years, coming in sporadically for eye brow waxes, highlights, and the occasional trim. The last time I scheduled an appointment, I was trying to decide whether or not to donate my hair, so I just scheduled a regular hair cut, rather than a donation. When I arrived at the salon, I decided to go for it. Shelby did an amazing job on my hair, and I absolutely LOVED the new (and 14 inches shorter) cut! When I went up to the counter to pay, they told me that my visit was free, because I donated. I was in absolute shock. I didnt have any cash to tip Shelby for her amazing work, so I decided to put a tip on my card. Having already planned to spend about $40 for the appointment, I gave Shelby that amount as a tip, because she deserved it!Ive never had a bad experience there, and I will continue to refer my friends and family to Attitudes A Salon!

I DREAD getting my hair cut because I have yet to find anyone who can cut my hair AND give it style. I have been to pricey salons and cheap ones...one not being any better than the other. I happened upon Attitudes because I was in the area and went in without much expectation. I was greeted immediately and warmly. I made an appointment for the next day with Xan, and WOW! ...all I can say is I LOVE my cut! (and Xan had to work around another salons mistake)The price was beyond fair, although honestly, I would have paid almost anything for a great cut and style.I HIGHLY recommend this salon for anyone looking for great service at a great price.
