We recently updated our 22-year-old kitchen using American Wood Reface. The process from initial consultation to completion was handled professionally by all parties. The two-man construction crew of Carlos and Rob worked tirelessly to transform our kitchen from builder’s grade to “custom”. They are modern-day master craftsmen who took pride in their work and were courteous and considerate. At the end of each work day several things occurred: 1) they updated us on what had transpired; 2) they answered questions on completed and pending work; and 3) they cleaned the work area in order for us to use the kitchen. Once completed, the transformation exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this company and construction crew.

After 26 years in our 70-year old house, it was time to update the kitchen. Refacing or new cabinets? After going thru the entire process, Im so glad we opted for refacing. The cabinet facings LOOK like new and the drawers ARE new. We finally have a stylish kitchen and the process took only 2 days from start to finish. Installers were prompt, industrious and neat, and they cleaned up completely before leaving both days. They even helped us hang some lights. Top notch workmanship and products. We LOVE our new kitchen!

We are very happy and satisfied with our experience with American Wood Reface. Everyone we came in contact with from beginning to end was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the products. Jim, our sales person, was very easy to work with and made suggestions on wood, color and hardware that would make our kitchen cabinets blend well with the rest of the house. He also suggested cabinet design changes that would make storage more efficient. Jim, the Installation Manager, was also very easy to work with and worked with us to make some upgrades that we wanted. He also explained the whole process and what to expect. The two carpenters were very consciences of keeping everything clean by covering up floors, appliances and closing off the work area. They were on time, asked questions if needed and explained what they were doing. We were very impressed on how hard working they were, the quality of their craftsmanship and attention to detail. From my first encounter with Tim (sales manager) to Jim (installation manager) to my install (so professionally orchestrated by a young man named Mike), this has been one of the best experiences having to do with construction in my home I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of experiences!).I told Tim what I wanted to change in my kitchen and what I wanted to keep, and he went from there; he actually talked me out of replacing my countertop that was in excellent condition (two other companies told me I needed to replace it). He listened to me, offered suggestions, and presented me with an estimate well within my budget and a beautiful design.A week later Jim and Tim came out and spent over 2 hours going over the plans with me and measuring. Because the doors, drawers, cabinets are built by the Amish, they were honest about the approximately 2-month turnaround time.Because of COVID it took an extra month for the installation. Mike and his partner spent 2, 12-plus hour days transforming my old outdated kitchen into a brand new, exactly-what-I-hoped for, kitchen that I can live with for several years.I HIGHLY recommend this company. One of the best companies I have used ever. The initial salesman Jim, came to our house and gave us ideas we had never considered. There was no sales pressure and we were left with options to consider. When we decided to go forward the project manager came over and reviewed and further refined the scope of work. We scheduled the job six weeks later and it was completed in three days as anticipated. The crew of carpenters who did the work were amazing. They showed up early, worked tirelessly with great attention to detail. They cleaned up every day and treated our home with care. The final product was beyond our expectations, and everybody who was seen the result cannot believe this isn’t a new custom kitchen.

My experience with this entire company has been superb! We met Tim at a Home Show in Greensboro, N.C. and he came to the house to measure and give an estimate. We didnt need his services for another year and he held on to the paperwork until we were ready. Then Jim met us and did the contract, final measurements, etc. It took three months for Carlos to begin the work but they completely refaced the whole kitchen in two days. They set up their equipment on the deck, covered my new floors, and cleaned everything up spotlessly before leaving. They were ultimate professionals and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I am 100% satisfied with my new kitchen.

Jim Furth was absolutely amazing. He totally helped me figure out an affordable option for my kitchen and my kitchen is huge! The guys were the most professional crew I have ever had do work for me. They cleaned EVERYDAY at the end of the day. The guys would arrive at 7:30 am and work till 5:00 pm without even taking a lunch break. I would recommend them to everyone.

Jim came to our home to get a feel for what we wanted to do and was going to put together a quote. Its been 2 weeks now and no quote and no communication from him. Reached out to him after 1 week and still nothing. He claimed that AWR was the best buy guess we will never know.
