This was my first office visits with the folks at Manna Audiology and it proved to be a very good and beneficial appointment. I was greeted in a very professional manner by Doctor Kaitlin Blake. After filling out the required first patient forms I was taken back for my Audiology Exam. It was a very thorough exam. Doctor Blake worked very patiently with me. After the exam was complete she took time to explain all of the findings with me in terms that I was able to understand. I would highly recommend this audiology office toeveryone. My hearing loss is in an advanced stage due to age. I met with Dr. Blake who did an excellent job of assessing my problem and offering the right solution. I am very happy with the professional way she did the exhaustive testing before coming wup with the remedy. The place is very very clean quiet and calm inside - although the exterior appearance is deceiving.

I am having an issue with a blocked feeling in my right ear so I went here to see if there was an issue with wax. Dr. Blake confirmed there wasnt but went above and beyond to check some other things, including a hearing test. Even though just a consult and not a patient she made me feel like she really cared. If I ever have any future hearing issues or needs Ill definitely head to see them again!

My experience with Manna Audiology has been nothing but excellent. My audiologist Dana Jurado has done a wonderful job assessing my hearing needs and prescribing the exact hearing aids that I needed for my lifestyle. She also recommended a TV transmitter that Bluetoothed to my hearing aids which I find invaluable. Her follow up visits along with her tinkering have only improved my hearing. My family over the years have constantly expressed their concerns about my ability to hear. A flyer for a free hearing screening came in the mail and I decided to act on it and find out for my self. The test was an eye opener and I was able to sample the products and I was completely amazed. Ms. Dana Jurado, was so professional and caring and explained all of the various options. I can’t wait to come back in the spring and hear what I’ve been missing.

The staff were is fantastic to say the least. Left aid stopped working yesterday and today it is back to work. It is very distracting to have only one working. Fit me right in and 10 minutes later I wa back in business.

I came today not knowing that my hearing was impaired to the extent that it was. I was impressed that the staff had a sanitary environment, spraying things down as I left the waiting room to my exam. Even with the high details to sanitation, they still were personal and kind. Dana Jurado was warm and careing. She clearly explained every question I had and showed me what I needed to improve my hearing. I could hear so many things I had no idea were going on around me. Cars outside! Movement from our bodies! This was a bit overwhelming as I had no idea that so many sounds were happening. I could hear breathing through ther mask! This is a new day for me. I am so grateful. I will highly recommend this place.

I can’t say enough great things about this place! I was suffering from sudden hearing loss and severe Tinnitus that was making my life crazy. It was horrible trying to deal with the Tinnitus. Dr. Blake was very kind and sensitive about our situation and when she put on the hearing aid, it was a magical moment. I immediately felt the difference. The pressure in my ear was gone and the Tinnitus went from an 8 to a 4. (10 loudest - 1 lowest). For months I couldn’t sleep and would get anxiety from the nonstop ringing in my ear. After Dr Blake adjusted the hearing aid settings the Tinnitus went down to a 2. It changed our lives. My wife and I were in tears of joy with the results. I can’t thank them enough.

I had my first hearing exam since I was very young, its been about 35 years or more. Clearly the understanding of hearing loss and the resulting technology has come a long way. That said, its usually the personal experience that makes the difference when we review anything online. I had a really good experience at Manna (except the part where they confirmed what I already knew :)). They have a comfortable space and the staff is very welcoming. My visit occurred during hurricane COVID-19 and they were thoughtful with their check-in, exam, cleaning, and social distance protocols. If youre in the area and considering having a hearing exam I can confidently recommend Manna.

Dana is absolutely wonderful She is very welcoming and helpful and very efficient. When I first came in to see her, I felt that my left hearing aid was faulty. She tested it and found that the microphone was not working and ordered a replacement. I just picked it up today. She tested the replacement to make sure it was communicating with my other aid, adjusted it and confirmed that all was working. She is really good at her job. Its a pleasure dealing with her.

I am so incredibly tempted to post pictures of the giant waxy clumps that were removed from my ears yesterday. But b/c of the respect I have for humanity, Ill refrain from doing that. It was unbelievable. I never imagined I had that kind of build-up in my two tiny ear canals. My experience with Manna Audiology was nothing short of excellent. These guys have a wonderful establishment...and I can see why theyve been thriving for almost 20 years now. The staff was very kind. The sign-in process was easy and smooth. Kurt Wrights knowledge and expertise was amazing. His passion for his work was made very clear while going through the process. I was very well taken care of and will definitely be going back and referring friends and family.

From start to finish, especially during these COVID times, the interaction at Manna Audiology Hearing Center was professional and a seamless experience. I have had a wonderful and educational experience at Manna Audiology. I have worn hearing aids for close to 40 years and have never had as good a pair of hearings aids as I do now. Dr. Wright understands hearing is a process between the aid and the brain being able to make sense of the sounds. I didnt just get a new set of hearing aids and walk away. He and I are going through a process to help me hear better. We are tweeking the aids every few months. As a result, I hear better now than I did a month ago with the same aids thanks to his research from the data collected in the aid itself and from him making modifications. Thank you Dr. Wright!

I go every six months for cleaning and once a year for an updated hearing test to see if adjustments are needed. It slowly happened over several years in situations where I would be in a contractors meeting, or in the shop at work straining to hear what others were saying. In combination with reading lips and asking the person to repeat themselves, I could just get by. Sometimes I would quickly ask my coworker to answer a question so that I would not have to ask the speaker to repeat themselves two or three times. After denying the issue for quite a while, I finally decided to get a hearing test and see just how bad my hearing was. Dr. Wright and is staff were very professional and he made it easy to do the test and go over the results. Having done live audio mixing over 16 years, I knew all about frequency and decibels, so Dr. Wright and I were able to talk shop and really dig into the details of my hearing loss. That was 6 months ago, now it seams as though I hear too much. That is to say, I can hear things I didnt know where there, like birds chirping and puppy toenails tapping on the sidewalk. What a difference it is now. I enjoy talking to people now, and during group meetings, I never miss a word.Dont hesitate to give Dr. Wright at Manna Audiology Hearing Center a call and setup an appointment today.-Heath

I went in to have my hearing checked. This was a free service. The young lady front desk was very friendly and even made me a cup of coffee and brought it to me. The doctor was also friendly and he explained everything involved in my hearing test before he did anything. I felt very comfortable there and the doctor showed me how my hearing is presently within a normal range for my age. I will definitely return should my hearing deteriorate to where I need further services.

My mother got her first hearing aid at the age of 95. At that age, we find it harder to change our rituals and learn new things. Dr. Wright is so patient with my mother. He is patient when, honestly, I find it hard to be patient myself. He treats her with the utmost respect and he tailors his treatment to her ability to adapt, and makes her feel comfortable at all times. He does a great job of explaining why he does what he does, and makes sure we both understand. The hearing aids themselves have transformed her life. She had checked out of daily conversation because she couldnt hear. At the dinner table, if there were a lot of people talking, you could tell that she wasnt there. Now, she is part of the dinner conversation and talking with her is so nice and easy. I actually had to learn not to yell! The office is run with efficiency, the staff are all extremely nice, and the results simply speak for themselves. Thank you, Dr. Wright, for making my mothers life richer at 95!

Manna Audiology has been wonderful. Ive had hearing aids for years, moved a bit so, Ive had 3-4 audiologists The customer service here is simply the best. Manna has been so easy to work with, In fact, I was a patient for nearly a year before meeting Dr. Wright. The front office staff & Dana took care of me many times without an appointment. Dana is very knowledgeable so, consultation, service, repairs & troubleshooting, programming, questions about using aids with cell phones and other electronics ... you name it and she can help. Once you meet with Dr. Wright, you find that his 20+ years experience in the field, the fact that he too suffers hearing loss make him extremely knowledgeable, understanding, quick to diagnose to move patients to hearing at their optimal level. You will find that he and his staff compassionately fulfill their mission statement on a daily basis.

I have been a patient/customer of Manna Audiology for two years. From them I received a detailed diagnosis of my hearing deficiency and hearing aids specifically programmed to assist me. I’m giving four stars because my appointment was at 2:30 and I wasn’t seen for about 50 to 60 minutes after that time. Other than that, my experience was excellent! And I usually don’t give 5 stars to anyone because in my opinion, if you have the “best” rating then how can you improve on it? I think there’s always room for improvement.

Excellent, honest, caring service

I suffer from a severe hearing loss and have worn aids for many years. Of course, I have visited several different audiologists. A few months ago one of my aids began giving me problems, and I looked for Audiologists in the Matthews area who could repair the aid. It was also time for a hearing test and an upgrade to my older model digital aids.My first stop was to another hearing center in the area where I was told, after a very brief evaluation (they barely looked at my old aid) that it could not be repaired. They immediately began trying to convince me to purchase new. I then called Manna and was given a time to stop by for the repair. Dana was able to repair my aid and did not pressure me to purchase new ones. I did make an appointment for a hearing test and moved forward with replacement aids and am so glad I did!! What a difference! The improvement is amazing and I cannot say enough positive things about the wonderful staff at Manna. I truly feel they all care deeply about their patients and want to provide the very best care possible. The level of professionalism offered by Dr. Wright, Dana and Ashlee is excellent, and I am obviously more than pleased with the results. I went to a well known hearing facility in Charlotte based on two friends recommending I get a hearing test. My uncle, whos been wearing hearing aids for over a decade, recommended I get a second opinion and take the time to find an audiologist I feel very comfortable with. I decided to check out Manna Audiology and Im so glad I did! The whole team made me feel welcome and was wonderful to work with. They took their time to answer my many questions and never made me feel rushed. It was a night and day difference from the first hearing doctor I visited.
