Very rude. Went here once with my dad, when I was in dire need of a car, the Nissan I had for over a year had just died. We pulled up in dads old cougar and just because of Dads car and his ol black jeans and a t-shirt attire, which is just his normal attire. Anyways the woman just assumed we couldnt afford one of their vehicles and refused to help us. I had a little cash on me for a down payment, and dad was only there to inspect whatever vehicles I chose and co-sign if needed. But she wouldnt even give us a chance. She was the only one there that day and incredibly rude. Needless to say someone else got my money that day. Their loss. But I would definitely NOT recommend!

This place is the best place to go. The have super nice cars that have decent mileage on them. My friend got a car here and she loves it. The payments are low and affordable for her. She is building her credit up by doing this too. Cant wait to get me a car once Im at my job 6 months :)

They seen an issue with the car I picked out, and got it fixed before letting me take off. Most major dealerships would try to hide things. You can say Ideal isnt the best place to go but they have been the best, Financing through them was easy. I was worried because I dont have the best credit nor did I have a lot of money to put down. I see all these horrible reviews, but this company is open and honest about what it is. Yes you are spending more money, but they provide reliable cars for those who can’t get financed else where. I have had my car for years and it has been amazing and taken me everywhere! I drive ALOT and it has been the most solid car I’ve ever had. When purchasing a used car you have the risk of something happening as soon as you pull off the lot. But even in times I have had minor issues they have given me the option to have it fixed and make payments on the repairs. I’ve never been harassed by any of them. Often times the people leaving negative reviews are the people who didn’t read the contract or aren’t paying their bills and expect people to bail them out. If you don’t have credit options and need a vehicle this would be the place to go. My credit score has went up 100 points because of this place.

My parents have bought 4 vehicles from this place. When something went wrong because I know alot of you cant believe it some things do break even brand new things. They was there, they helped fix it and keep my parents on the road. When my dad lost his job, because ya bad thingsdo happen. They missed payments but they worked with them and didnt leave them without a car. I see alot of people have alot of bad things to say... Im sure half of you are repo customers because you thought you was gonna get it free. You signed a agreement which they are 100% thorough in. So why dont you tell the truth about how they helped you instead of lie and makeup stuff as if they didnt. You didnt mind driving off in that car the first day but when it comes to pay for it its a issue now. I recommend ideal auto sales to everyone they are the best hands down!! Do not get a car from here. We missed a payment and they sent someone out to repossess three days later. They will constantly hit your card for even 20 dollars and call or text you every 20 minutes.. the check was delayed...but still they nickle and dime the hell out of his car. All in all the car was 20,000 and its only worth 3400...just stay away

Horrible business! They lied to us multiple times, harassed us constantly! We tried to refinance through our bank to get away from them and found out that the loan was almost 4 times the actual value of the car!! Not to mention their employee turnover was insane! It was never the same people! Do not do business here!!!

My family memeber bought a car here. It is JUNK! They took it in and worked on it SEVERAL times. Tjey even made HER drive it to Decatur from her house to be fixed. So, of course it is out of warranty. Now she has to pay $200 to get it fixed agai! This place told her that they changed plugs and wires, but refuses tp give her proof. Then She took it back later that same week and they said it needed plaugs and wires that they had NOT chaged them.

Had to leave 1 star because they won’t allow you to leave none. What a waste of time this place is. All they want is to get you in and turn you down so they can make their quota. Don’t go here!!!

The lady that I just talked to was so rude and hateful I had cold hard cash to buy one of the vechiles and she treated me like nothing gave me a little card with all kinds of things saying I needed I dont need anything to buy in cash thank you. I got a car with these guys never missed a payment was rear ended at 50 mph car was totaled spent six months in physical therapy couldnt work these guys did nothing but harass me the whole time refused to come to reasonable payment options due to the wreck they where calling me literally 30 times a day threatening me and sending me threatening letters in the mail even after i arranged for them to git a majority of it payed off from the insurance the threats never stopped nor the letters or the emails will never ever ever do business with them again or suggest any one to buy from them if there was a ranking lower than this id give it to them even called there branch manager said it was not there problem and on top of all that they put on my credit that i am out for repo for the whole time still on it lol so any one dumb enough to buy a car from these people i feel truly sad for ya never ever ever ever ever again

I got a car from them and not even a week later my CD player went out my keyless entry doesnt work and I was driving at night and my headlights went out on me I couldve gotten into a wreck or died and when I told them this at the mattoon location all they told me was to call the service dept. In Decatur so I do that they tell me that I have to pay for half of everything thats wrong and they cant get me in to see them till the end of the month I cant believe that I not only havent had the car a week but all thats wrong with it plus I would have to pay half . They should pay the whole amount . These people dont care about me or you just to sell you a car and most likely one that doesnt even work properly the worst experience of my life I was ripped off robbed this is completely utterly a scam .

Liars say you need certain things get there then they add a bunch of other things my fiance went out of his way to get a IL ID because they wouldnt take his Florida drivers license gave all info on the phone saying come in your already qualified get their to be turned down because we havent lived in our current place for 2 years or more

Honestly wish I would’ve read the reviews first. Now I have 5000+ dollars on my credit because they gave me a car that started messing up after a month and I had to give it back!!!! They sold the car after I gave it back and they’re still charging me the full amount for the car!!!!
