This place is great! The breakfast sandwiches are very tasty and unpretentious. The bacon, egg and Gouda bagel is always solid. Don’t be afraid to ask them to swap out the bacon for ham if your bacon quota has been achieved. The staff is super friendly and the coffee is way better than that diner battery acid brew that somehow still gets served at other spots. BoBean is my go to spot for quick breakfast on the weekends.

I love this place. Pricing is a little higher than some other similar restaurants, but the quality of ingredients and the kindness of the staff (even if you have a take-out order, they’ll hand-deliver it to you with a smile if you’re waiting for it at a table!) makes it all worth it. And they have the best iced cappuccino I’ve had this side of the border.

Excellent coffee and delicious, freshly prepared cuisine with a wide range of options. The tuna sandwich was fantastic. There is room for improvement in terms of outside seating. Ill be back.

Boston Bean House is a great cafe with lots of space, great cappuccino and baked goods and a good breakfast and lunch selection.Theyve lots of window space so its nice and bright and its never been crowded when Ive visited. Theres limited parking on the street, but its a short walk from various Maynard parking locations.Wifi is free with good speeds on the times Ive been there.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had.

Went on a Sunday. The Peppermint flavor holiday drink was good and Chocolate croissant was flakey and delicious.

Good staff, good coffee, good breakfast sandwich, and good virus safety. Enjoy the coffee at three outdoor tables and some benches.

Ive been here a few times but wont be returning because the drinks are overpriced and the wait time is way too long. I ordered a large cold brew coffee, it took over 5 minutes with no one else in front of me, and it was over $7. Im pretty sure they overcharged me on purpose though and just hoped I didnt notice.

Our first visit to Boston Bean House and we were delighted with the quality of the food and coffee we were served for breakfast. Service was friendly and quick as well. Will be returning to try their breakfast sandwiches :)

The Boston Bean House in Maynard is the perfect cafe for me. Its much larger than most other cafes - the tables are well spaced. The coffee is terrific, not simply good (my favorite is the mocha in a large mug). The muffins and croissants are delicious, and the sandwiches are inventive and mouth watering as well!I use the Bean House to bring the family on Saturday morning, meet friends and also as a second office on quiet Friday afternoons. Oh, and the hours are super convenient: 7am to 4pm.

Stopped here with 3 kids and forgot my wallet. Let me get food and I’m mailing them a check. How nice is that! Never would happen at a chain ...Atmosphere and food are excellent

The service is great and the coffee is better. Eli and Eli run a tight ship and make it an enjoyable experience to shoot the breeze while waiting. The food is top notch with sandwich professionals in the back. The bakery produces delicate treats that hit the spot when you need a sweet.

Decent food but baked goods always seem a little old. The wait can get intense. I waited 15 minutes for my order, then just left and went to Acton to run a chore, and came back and my to-go order still took another 5 minutes. Im not exaggerating. A ton of other people we anxiously waiting and getting annoyed while Ill was there as well. They clearly dont want to pay to properly staff the kitchen.

I used to work for the Bean House. Haven been here in a long time. I absolutely love and will always love the bean as well as the customers. I love the atmosphere!

Best Americano in a 10+ mile radius, VERY kid friendly, made-to-order sandwiches from a fairly big menu. A nice place to hang for breakfast or lunch with the kids and friends. Big grilled cheese sandwiches.

Ordered espresso and grilled cheese and bacon after lunch rush.Service was good and prompt, decor was fine if not a bit stuffy.free wifi with password on receipt (clever) but no outlets (unfortunate).Price was highish (just under 10) but not outlandish.Espresso was very poor, weak crema, over extracted, mediocre beans.Sandwich was really quite good, cheese well melted and bacon was clearly quality.

Larger than most coffee houses, the Bean offers a large selection of coffee, teas, both hot and iced, really good pastries and excellent panninis and sides for lunch. Not quite as cozy as the Serendipity but I think the food here is much better than there. Counter service. Menu is displayed on a large and coloful chalk board. Many tables are available to sit down and enjoy your palatable treasures. Lots of natural light from their huge windows. The Bean attracts local business owners and workers, not clique-ish though. More of a quick coffee or lunch place. $ out of $$$

I want to start off and say that the staff is very nice but the food and coffee not so much . I was very disappointed, the coffee tasted burnt and bitter . The breakfast sandwich was dry and not tasty . Maybe they where having a bad day ? Hate to give them a bad review because they where so nice but hopefully seeing this will make them a better place. The restaurant was very clean and had a good atmosphere. I willing to try them again in a few weeks and will update everyone.

Very tasty food, probably the best place to eat in Maynard. The hours are eccentric though - they do lunch but not dinner, and are closed for all sorts of holidays plus on a whim, so if youre making a trip to Maynard just for this place, be sure to call ahead.

So fed up with this place. Just tried to buy a large iced coffee. At nearly $5.00 its a rip off and shame on me for agreeing to pay that amount. Especially considering the coffee isnt even that great.When I handed my debit card to the twit behind the counter, he literally squeaked in alarm, then pointed to a tiny label on the register saying $5.00 minimum purchase for credit/debit cards. So no coffee for me and no money for Boston Bean. Fine by me. Their coffee is weak anyway...I should know because I buy it (and only it) quite often WITH MY DEBIT CARD!Screw this place, theyre not worth the trouble or the high prices they charge for the mediocre food they serve.
