So I just moved in a few miles from this place and while looking for the local dispensary I saw this place and went inside. The people are all very nice and welcoming. The breakfast sandwich is amazing like if you had a coffee date or a woke up with some amazing girl and need a coffee and food date this is where to go. The coffee as well as specialty drinks taste perfect and are at just the right temp so you dont burn your face off. 11/10 would recommend. Found it as its name sake suggests as a very happy accident.

Amazing little Cafe that I wish we found out about sooner! The downtown sunset smoothie, breakfast sandwiches and iced white mocha coffee were all excellent!& Very conveniently located across from a super cute consignment store

My absolute favorite place to stop for a quick snack, meet up with friends, or sit down and get some work done!The owners, Laura and Johnny, are knowledgable and friendly and care so much about their products and community. They are there first thing in the morning and last thing at night; you can see how dedicated they are every time you look at the artfully layered ingredients in your sandwich or taste any of their delicious baked goods.The staff are knowledgeable and always happy to help me and my friends figure out which options would work best for all of our allergies or special diets.The food they offer is all scratch-made and usually locally sourced.Maynard is lucky to have such a cool spot right downtown!

Excellent chicken and turkey sandwiches. Their house made wheat-flax bread is amazing! My wife and I are very impressed with how quickly our coffees and sandwiches were brought out to us and with the quality of the ingredients used. We highly recommend the house roasted turkey and chicken sandwich, iced mocha and the iced serendipity latte.

Love the cafe and the in-house bakery, Hobsons Homemade. Both are great assets/additions to the community.Definitely recommend if you care about food quality, locally sourced ingredients, or have allergies.

A staple of Maynard ma, this place has actually pretty good coffee, a nice atmosphere, good priced food and they seem to not mind people working here!! If you’re looking for a cute spot in Maynard to work or grab a sandwich, this is the place to go.

I was here for a Saturday morning bike ride break. Good coffee and baked goods. I had an oatmeal berry bar. Outdoor seating, wifi, and friendly staff. Good virus safety precautions. I did not try the heavier breakfast offerings but it looked like a nice selection.

A nice place to get coffee. Pretty reasonable coffee, too, although Im no expert. Its within walking distance of, well, all of Maynard, so thats a plus. Only complaint is that it skews towards the more modern, minimalist end of the of the modern - comfy spectrum, and I felt slightly on-display even in a back corner of the shop. Probably just an artifact of it being a quiet day, though. Altogether a nice place, though!

Great vibe, excellent egg sandwiches on delicious bread. Cozy, welcoming and the very best alternative to soul-sucking homogeneous places like Starbucks (which has its place too of course). Serendipity is a great addition to downtown Maynard and one that hopefully will be here for a long time. Worth its five stars

This place is top notch. Everything I have tried here is outstanding! Eat their English muffins, they are the best Ive ever had and the cinnamon rolls are out of this world! I drive 20 minutes out of my way to go here. Stop second guessing it, if its open, go, eat and enjoy.

I am very fond of Serendipity Cafe as a great place for Sunday brunch. The crepes are always good, the staff is generally friendly, and the music is usually a great addition to the experience.

I only had the coffee and it was bold like I had asked for. Restrooms were available and clean. Baked goods looked yummy but I didnt indulge

Everything is fresh from first rate ingredients. The staff are friendly and good humored. The place is relaxed and comfortable with WIFI. Some places are a natural community gathering place. In Maynard its Serendipity.The fact that they also sponsor a robust live music makes this place A+.

Love this place! The food is awesome and the vibe is friendly. Love that they have toys for my toddler and great coffee for me. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich.

From the original menu to the friendly staff and even to the cleanliness of the entire cafe, I have been pleased by every visit. The cafes atmosphere is what youd want out of your neighborhood chill spot ...chill. I recommend the Serendipity Latte and the Chicken Salad Sandwich. You wont ever be disappointed by what these guys have to offer. Their open mic nights on Friday evenings are also a blast!

Not only is the local coffee used amazing! But the breakfast sandwich outstanding. The staff is friendly and atomosphere of the cafe feels like a splash of Morroco and swanky Paris at the same time, you definitely dont want to leave quickly. This little jewel is also Family friendly with outside seating on a sunny day and live music the day we went in. Prices so reasonable as well! A must visit!

Very yummy and delicious food made from scratch. However u are also paying for that price. I was a little suprised that two sandwhiches (chicken and egg salad) a 24 oz coffee and a latte would be over 30$! But they deff give you enough food for the cost of the sandwich, dont get me wrong it was very good food.💖

Serendipity has the best iced chai lattes in the region! I love their sandwiches and drinks. I also love the atmosphere.My favorite experience there was on a Sunday afternoon when my nephew and I decided to go for a walk. We had a stressful day and needed to get some fresh air. We ended up at Seredipity Cafe, where he got his face painted and they made us a special request: apples added to their cheese crepe. It was delicious! And one of my favorite memories of this year.

This is the ultimate in coziness - the best metro/Euro-style cafe in the area. Be prepared to languish here for hours reading books, eating crepes and using the free wifi. The coffee is so delicious I drink it black to taste the full flavor. There are tables as well as over-sized chairs youll sink into. The overall atmosphere is very warm, feel free to chat up your neighbors or just stare the ever-changing art. People come from several towns around. Also, there is Board Game Night on Wednesdays and Open Mike Night on Fridays. And if that isnt enough, you can even BYOB for a small fee!
