Its difficult to find a good and reliable mechanic and these guys are it. No upselling, just the facts about your vehicle. I even heard a guy come in asking for a second opinion about an issue another mechanic told him he had and the people here told him that they didnt find that issue after testing multiple times. That really speaks to their integrity.

The owner and employees are extremely nice and professional. I was recommended to Timberlake Automotive by a coworker and the first time I brought my vehicle in for repair the owner had bought lunch for his employees and even offered me some as I came in and dropped my car off on my lunch break. Great customer service

My younger brother was on his way home from deployment and ended up having engine trouble to the point he woudnt be able to make it home. Luckily he stopped at Timberlakes Automotive. They immediately brought his car in and diagnosed what was wrong and took care of the situation and didnt charge an arm or a leg. If anybody is in this area and needs repairs done, I would prefer this company over anybody else. Thanks to them my brother will be making it home. Thank you Timberlake Automotive.

Worst place I ever had the pleasure of dealing with sold me a car of a friends of a friends told me it had no issues And they had checked from top to bottom put struts on a car with no front end alignment big no no, and told me no oil leaks what so ever rear brakes never adjusted or cleaned but here yet had a inspection sticker put on it charged me 2,400 for a car blue booked at 2,200 drive exactly 15 miles after buying it no brake pedal cam shaft seal blowing oil driver side axle bearing got hot and started raising hell had to put in a respectful shop in Chesterfield Hancock automotive who are repairing all these things you let go neither me or Mr Hancock are happy wouldnt be surprised if your not investigated after this my father ran Berger auto service for 32 years and would never let anything like this happen to his customers needless to say cost me another 1,600 to repair what you lied about and let slide watch out for a cat named Jim now I have 3,900 in a car thats worth 2,200 people of Mechanicsville you want your car done right its worth the ride to Southside to Hancock automotive to no your not being lied to and ripped off! By the way Jim your friend lied to you no timing belt or water pump ever been replaced on this car thanks DUDE!
