Zero stars if I could...Payed in full for our wedding cake two months ago. They just cancelled our wedding cake three days before our wedding, leaving us with nothing. I have no words, except this is the most unprofessional and poorly run “business”. Thanks for nothing :-)

The staff was SO helpful, and patient! They had this cake ready for us & customized with their names for my nieces birthday in less than a few hours. Plus it is SO ADORABLE, everyone loved it, especially the little ones!

Been here several times recently. Their cheesecake is awesome. Super nice staff. Noticed one review about masks but each time I’ve been there everyone was wearing one. Looks like the reviewer is probably a stoner so that pretty much sums it up. I’ll definitely be going back.

You should really update your business hours online and answer the phone! Wasted my time and gas going to your location because it said it was open online and nobody answered the phone. Only to be told your closed and only accepting special orders but arent taking orders because of a busy weekend.

Rebecca & Sweet Stuff were amazing! The process from initial meeting to sample cakes to finalizing the cake plan was so smooth and stress-free. Rebecca worked with us on a few unique requests and even suggested a flower farm for wedding flowers which we followed through with and had amazing flowers thanks to her suggestion! The wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. Our gluten free guests loved the GF cake and everyone was happy & full at the end of the night :)

Has refused to adhere to COVID regulations due to the owners personal beliefs against masks. Regularly harrasses and verbally attacks customers and residents who have legitimate complaints and concerns. Owner posts disturbing and ignorant content on social media. She is clearly not able to take any responsibility for her actions or constructive feedback at all. Do not support unethical business owners.

The new owner of sweet stuff is publicly transphobic and has harassed many people regarding this. She has made it clear that she will attack anyone for any reason. I would be leery of becoming a customer. Who knows how she’ll treat you. I’ve witnessed her actually telling customers she doesn’t have to refund them or fulfill their orders also. Problematic all around.

Owner is openly transphobic. Environment and atmosphere are not welcoming, treats are subpar. There are far better bakeries in the area.

Ordered a cake for baby shower, last minute and staff was very helpful. Picked up cake prior to shower the next day, staff appeared to be inconvenienced by my scheduled arrival. Cake was not bad, just flavorless, very greasy butter cream. Disappointed that I spent $75.00 on a hohum dessert. Would not recommend.

We hired Sweet Stuff for our daughters wedding. They did a fruit filled cake and mini cheesecake tarts for the event. Everyone raved about the quality of these desserts. Add on the fact that their price was so competitive and reasonable for what the provided. They showed up on time and was professional through-out the setting up process. Thanks for making our day easier in this regard.

Purchased a cake from this baker, not only did it crack, it collapsed! We picked up the pieces and tasted the disaster. Not only did it fall apart the taste was Terrible. Awful couldn’t even finish it. I contacted the baker and she tried blaming me for moving the cake and letting sit out in the heat for hours. DO NOT use this baker. She is unprofessional and blames the customer. You know it’s bad when kids won’t eat it.

Ive been 4 times to the new shop! Everytime has been great!Quite a variety of savory and sweet stuff. You can tell love goes into every dish. They have a lunch special you just cant beat! Ive had it a few times and its amazing.A few years ago they made us a cake that was one of the best Ive had to date.Definitely worth a try if you havent already.

I stopped by looking for a specialty baking ingredient and Rebecca was nice enough to give me some of their personal stock! She gave me some great baking advice and was incredibly helpful and kind. Ill be stopping by to try out their treats soon.

Sweet stuff is the best bakery in town! The staff is always helpful and friendly, and they have so many lovely options for sweets. One of the only bakeries that won charge you extra for vegan/ gluten free options. Would highly recommend!

What a great little surprise. Driven by many times and just saw this little bakery. Great prices for such amazing work. I got two cakes for a friends party, and couldnt help getting cupcakes for home! Wow. They were so good!

This review is for the end of last year for my wedding. I ordered macarons, turnovers, and our cake. When they came to “set up” the desserts, nothing was even set up using the props I had provided. So there were literally empty trays on the dessert table for the majority of the evening. Not nice for a wedding. I asked for greenery on the cake, all I got was a plain white cake so we had to put last minute flowers on. I believe the desserts were just put away somewhere and my bridal party had to hunt them down and put them on the dessert table. During dinner i was looking at the empty dessert table like, where the heck is our cake? The macarons were dry and stale, the shop told me “that’s the way they’re supposed to be” I’ve had real macarons... they’re supposed to be chewy and soft. Ordered dark green with gold color, they were bright lime green and not pretty. Before the wedding, we had driven here from Salem with the promise of being able to sample cakes. We waited for about half an hour, then come to find out there were no sample cakes made. They made this up to us by shipping them, but it was so inconvenient. Extremely hard to get ahold of. I really don’t recommend this shop for weddings, I wish I would’ve gone elsewhere.

Where do I begin?! Weddings are stressful and 2 weeks before mine I had a cake crisis! I called sweet stuff and they pulled off 150 cupcakes and a beautiful cake! The ladies had amazing flavor recommendations and made the most delicious treats!! A huge thank you to them for making our special day nice and sweet!

I was out of state and wanted a cake delivered for my disabled brothers birthday. They did an excellent job, followed up with me and went out of their way to make it happen. He and everyone he shared it with loved it! Great Job! Thank you!

There is nothing like this is town. They cover all the bases with breakfast, lunch, and a great selection of baked goodies. That frosting though....mmmmhmmm

Sweet Stuff was recommended by my sister, and boy were we blown away! Rebecca was amazing to work with, and the cake was no less than amazing. Delicious, moist red velvet cake with a triple berry filling. Not to mention her decorating skills...our Avengers cake was stunning. Have never had a better cake or a happier 4 yr old. They made a beautiful, custom cake for my wedding including beautiful details like the fondant bike chain. It was exactly what I hoped for!

I got 10 of their macaroons and they were hard and it didn’t taste good and they tasted stale. I was very disappointed

I needed a cake and fortunately Sweet Stuff had a last minute cancellation on a cake that was already made. Fudge cake with white chocolate ganache filling. The cake was beautiful but when the day came to cut it, we discovered the ganache was as hard as chocolate bark. Everyone ended up with a pile of mush cake with separated pieces of ganache on their plate. I brought up my displeasure with the store by phone and was initially met with attitude, well, what I can do to help is recommend you call a week in advance to plan the cake you want, so you wouldnt have ended up with a cake meant for someone else, our conversation ended with us agreeing to meet at the store to show the cake. I brought the cake and was made to wait around 15 minutes to speak to the owner. I showed Rebecca how thick and how it was difficult to cut and how the ganache separated between layers of cake making the cake unstable. Rebecca began to insult me right away. She was immensely condescending and patronizing while describing what ganache is the soft center of a truffle and why her ganache was the way it was, which seemed to contradict at parts. The designer tried to cover and say she wouldnt use ganache to fill/layer a cake,but it was a custom order, I wouldnt layer ganache that way either if I didnt know how to make proper creamy ganache. The beginning of the end was when she asked in a very patronizing way well, did ya cut it with a hot knife... I informed her that nobody at the shop told me to do so (I wouldve heeded that red flag btw and NOT bought their cake had they told me) to which she made excuses of being too busy and staying up til 2am working the night before, excuses excuses.The last straw! Rebecca the owner says well if you know anything about ganache its a no brainer to use a hot knife insulting your customers intelligence instead of taking responsibility for your horrible quality cake is pretty poor. Not even an apology or a thank you for grabbing a custom order cake cancelled last minute. Ive supported their business for the past 3 years+ Ive bought their goodies and let me tell you quality has gone down!Theyve lost my business for good.

I set aside a day to come here to sample various items in the case for my upcoming wedding. I was hoping to love everything and book with them for the wedding. However everything was old tasting and looked like it had been sitting for a few days. The macaroons were chewy, the brownie was more like a hunk of fudge, and the cannolis I didnt even try because the filling was dried and cracking and looked pretty gross. For what I paid I was very disappointed and decided not to book and consultation. I really wished it would have worked out seeing as I drove all the way up there just for the goodies..but I cant endorse anything I tried from our little venture. All in all we got 8 hand selected items from the case and I do not believe any of them were freshly made. Id like to say I hit them on an off day but honestly the whole case was full of these items so I feel like its not unusual or out of the ordinary.

I couldnt wait to try their stuff because it looked so good but everything we bought was EXTREMELY dry and inedible. Tasted like it was made a week ago.

Very disappointed ....my daughter had surgery and I ordered 4 orders of biscuits and gravey and 2 orders of creaps....Not a cheap order...the food was foul I called in and spoke with an employee who had a Oh-Well attitude.....she was snippy and didnt even make an attempt to make it right ....we would of gladly returned the food for a refund....no one would touch it....Im so disappointed

We love Rebecca for all of our sweet treat needs. She always fits us in, even when she is swamped. She has designed beautiful birthday cakes-- one that could have been a wedding cake-- and delectable single serve sweets for our childrens birthdays. You cannot beat her quality, customer service, and prices. She is very attentive to our low sugar lifestyle and always accomodates our requests. As long as she is still baking, we will go to her and her only for our sweet stuff.

I ordered a gluten free birthday cake for my wife. Rebecca was friendly and helpful on the phone. I ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and caramel buttercream filler. It was to say Happy Birthday (wifes name) on top. When Rebecca delivered the cake I was startled to see flowers designed out of huge globs of icing all over the cake. I said, Its supposed to say Happy Birthday ( ). She replied, It does. Its on the platter. The cake was on a circular cardboard piece which was covered in aluminum foil. Along the exposed lip of the cardboard was written in mundane lettering Happy Birthday ( ). I couldnt believe it. I only bought the cake ($40) because we were about to celebrate the event. I was very disappointed that I didnt get what I ordered. When I complained a little, Rebecca responded, Its all good. Well, it wasnt. To be fair, the cake itself was pretty good for gluten free. We just scraped off the globby stuff.
