I have been a very happy consumer that has been doing business at Mallett Automotive for many years. Im pretty sure since they first opened. Staff have years of experience. Knowledgeable staff that love to please their customers and the price is right. Having been ripped off by dealerships and national conglomerates like Sears, I sought out other options, putting aside my becoming a mechanic. I wouldn’t bring any of my cars or my family’s cars anywhere else. Never had any issues. Their always polite, work done on time, not pushy about other repairs and most of all the prices are very competitive. Plus they pump your gas rain, sleet, hail or snow. Yup I highly recommend them for repairs and gas.

I dont think one can ask more from an Automotive/Gas Station. Ed Mallett and staff are considerate and kind. Additionally they are very accommodating when at all possible and they really do aim to please. Their prices are very fair and my husband and I and our son have used them continually over the past 6,7,8 ?? Years and would not think of going anywhere else. They get five gold Stars in our book!

This was my first visit. I took an 18 year old Subaru Forrester to be fixed up for my son to drive to college. The AC and fan were not working and another garage had already charged me $100 and could not fix it. OB at Mallett did it without difficulties and it was just a couple of relays. No big deal. They did lots of other stuff too and although they kept the car for a long time (they took some $$ off for that) they worked very hard the last day to get it to us before my son had to leave. Will definitely go back there.

Friendly gas service from the original owner. High rates and slow appointment booking. Do not recommend if you purchase your own parts.

My daughter is a student at Tufts and her Subaru needed a ball joint and brakes. A friend recommended Mallet - telling me they are good and honest. Not only were they very communicative and quick, but about a week after I paid, I got a check in the mail. They had realized I overpaid and sent me a check for that amount. I had taken care of the entire interaction from 200 miles away via phone and would not have known that I overpaid - they found the error and fixed it on their own.

Great service and reasonable prices. I live in New York City but visit family in the area. I trust Ed Mallett enough that I plan trips around service needs and will be dropping off the car again next week. Highly recommended.

Came here for a multipoint inspection. Great experience! They treat you like family.

Had stuff broken multiple times after sending our car here to be fixed. Overcharged me and lied about pricing and what was wrong. Stay away, this behavior is inexcusable. Ironically, they have a sign saying they are honest. I took to multiple mechanics who all confirmed the same issues which did not match what Billy said. Dont trust him or his staff.
