Sales is excellent. Service is terrible. I have bragged for years about the incredible service at this dealership, and as of a couple of years ago, that service is gone. The Service Department doesnt do the one thing that customers need most...contact. Service does not return phone calls, and they dont listen to what youre saying when you do reach them. If they did, thered be no need for this review. I have purchased 6 cars at this dealership since 2011 and referred friends who bought 2 more. Im due for a new Mercedes, but am struggling to decide whether I want to buy here and deal with the new low standard of service. Based on his last experience a few months ago with the Service Dept., my husband says he will never buy here again. I called and talked with management, who promised to call him - and would you believe that after our whole issue being not getting called back - he never called back? Its disappointing, because my salesperson (Randall) is outstanding, and I dont want to buy out of town. Is there any plan to put the right people behind the Service counter, and clear out the flaky and uninterested? Please bring back the Mercedes-quality service that weve come to appreciate and count on. The sale lasts a few minutes - the service is for life.
Amazing experience, I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to salesman Scott D. who worked with me on the deal. I purchased a GLS remotely in new condition with options I wanted for very attractive price. Scott worked with me from first minute I inquired about the vehicle until I drove back home. He met me at the airport and made sure whole process wouldn’t take long. Thank you Scott and the financial department for quick turnaround I would definitely be back for my next Benz.
Sprinter RV broke down 30 miles out of Medford early evening on first leg of trip from Central Oregon to LA. Got towed in late that night and without an appt the next day Shannon and Zane in the service department were amazing coordinating with us, getting a fuel line replaced, checking other potential issues and getting us out the same day at a price that was beyond reasonable. My experience with Mercedes Benz of Medford was exceptional. They gave me a fair and honest deal for my trade in. Randall was the salesman that helped me get the deal on my new Mercedes and he was transparent with their prices, catered to my needs, and got me the best deal that I could have gotten for the car I bought. Everyone that I worked with, including the finance department, gave off the vibe that they were working for me and not trying to work me over. I have nothing bad to say about my experience and will be returning back when it’s time for me to get my next car.
The Service team at Mercedes Benz of Medford was a life saver for us. Our Sprinter van had a problem while we were on vacation far from home. We called the dealership and they were super accommodating. They worked us in to their busy schedule, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, and had us back on the road the same day. This is everything we expected from Mercedes service, and we were not disappointed. A true 5-star dealership!
Took my gl450 here about two weeks ago now. I was told the problem would be fixed in a week. I call at a week I was lied to and told by a man in services that my part had to be ordered from Germany and would take 3/4 days to get here . Fast forward 3 days I receive a text from Shannon in services who has been respectful and nice at least is now saying that my part hasn’t even been order yet! This totally contradicts what the man who I spoke with a half a week ago about a part being sent from Germany said ! As a Mercedes owner I honestly feel disrespected by being told one thing when they really had no clue on the timing and we’re clearly just saying random things to get my business .
They do everything they can to get your vehicle done in a timely manner.

Id been looking for several months for a gently used vehicle. Most often I got a little less sparkle, a little less respect, a little less customer service when other dealers found I wasnt looking for a new vehicle. That was not the case at Mercedes in Medford. Scott Davis is a very professional salesman and extremely knowledgeable. He patiently answered all my questions and was happy to give me time to think about my decision without pressure. Julie Reyes in the finance department was fun to talk to and Judy Dickinson at the front desk was friendly and helpful. There was an overall sense of comfortable kindness.Before I left with my new-to-me vehicle it was re-detailed, gas filled up, and a free one-year warranty provided. Scott said a loaner car would be available when I came in for the new battery.The day after purchase, Scott called to ask how I liked my car and asked me to call if I had any concerns. I purchased a new car last year and cannot believe the difference in the two experiences. I highly recommend the staff and the dealership at Mercedes of Medford.

I purchased two Mercedes-Benz from Mercedes-Benz of Medford! I was so impressed with the service I received from Scott Davis on the E350 that he went out of his way to find for me, that I went back with my wife to get her a Mercedes-Benz. Everyone was patient and helpful, as we were undecided on the second car which my wife was looking for a mid size suv. My wife decided on the 2018 GLC 300 4matic . They gave us a great deal on both cars and Scott and their finance managers were very knowledgeable and helpful. They gave us a great deal on the warranty and service plans, and the cars have been a dream to drive. Will never drive anything but a Mercedes-Benz.They answer any questions we have had since our purchases, and it was a great shopping experience.Just wanted to say Thank you to all the staff that helped us!Jeff and Monica.

It’s completely fine, I purchased (online) a nice used Mercedes from another Oregon dealership today (without a trade in). I like to buy local but I have to trust who I’m dealing with.
So I purchased a 2013 Mercedes Benz from a dealership in Eugene. So upon arrival from Klamath falls the sales man informed me there was a issue with the vehicle I just drove 3 hours to buy. He told me they me I was able to take the car any where of my choosing and they would pay for the repair. So I called Mercedes Benz of Medford and spoke to Racheal. She informed me the part needed to be ordered and we schedule a time to drop it off for the day. So a few hours after I dropped it off I got a call from her stating it needed an additional sensor. She said they had to order it as well it would be there after the weekend. So she sent me home in my brand new rental car. Free of charge. 3 days later I got a text from her saying my car was ready. So I drove over to Medford and to my surprise they had washed my car and even vacuumed it. Such an honest and respectful dealership. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here for any service or needs.

Wow. What an inventory! I was afraid to get to close to the cars they looked so great. Its probably way better if you dont stop by after hours like I did, seeing myself pick 4 different cars as if the wants would suddenly become reality, the visit helped me decide on something I really didnt understand until seeing this impressive car lot. I recommend it strongly.
I tried to get my SL500 into the service department to diagnose a misfire code. First contact was Racheal. I was very honest that the vehicle had been serviced at another quality import shop In Medford. Also, that I had done some basic maintenance myself. Well, that seemed to make this car not a candidate to allow into the shop. Racheal was very condescending, questioned my integrity when sharing knowledge about the error codes that had been read, and, unfortunately used the fateful term, “We are really SLAMMED” when referring to the fact that they might not be able to deliver attention to this car. I can’t believe a service department would allow their customer facing people to act that way to a new customer. I left a voice message for Roger, the service manager asking him to call me back to discuss any future I have with this service department. That conversation will be vital to my decision to return or not to this business. At any rate, never will I fave Racheal again. I think she shouldn’t speak for the mechanics and just do her job of checking in vehicles. And she should have from customer service training on how to appropriately deal with the public.Waiting to hear from Roger.

We purchased a C-Class sedan a few weeks back from Mercedes-Benz of Medford. Our experience was great. Scott, our salesman, was fabulous. He answered any and all questions with the knowledge that gave us peace of mind. Julie in finance was also extremely pleasant. In reviewing other reviews of this dealership, it is very apparent that ownership cares about the facility as they personally respond to every review. It’s one of the reasons we choose to make the 2.5 hour drive to Medford. The facility was extremely clean. Our 3 and 7 year old boys lasted several hours at the dealership as we test drove and finally settled on a vehicle. Every staff member was extremely pleasant to them and made an effort to make my family feel welcome. We purchased a new Silverado at a Lithia dealership a year prior and I’ll say that the biggest difference in dealing with Scott was that we didn’t feel any pressure either way. I initially contacted them through e-mail about a car. They proceeded to misspell my name on every form. They told me that they would not run my credit more than once Because youre a young guy and we dont want to wreck your credit score so I ended up signing a loan that was at a higher rate than I would have liked. The car I bought was serviced by Mercedes technicians and was supposedly tuned to the level of Mercedes standards. I realized on the drive home that the steering wheel was busted. The car began to start drifting on its own while driving on straight line roads. On long road trips the car would stall. I took it into my local dealer and the oil filter wasnt attached properly. I attached the picture of that. At the same time they said the shifter was malfunctioning. They did end up paying for the steering wheel.
Minus 10 rating for the service dept. Last 2 experiences was horrible. Service dept doesnt feel that customer service is necessary. They do not communicate at all. The customer has to call for status everytime. They lose your warranty records and the nightmare begins. Even the service mgr Roger doesnt return phone calls when a customer leaves message with phone number. Pathetic

Of all the times that we were in the dealership trying to decide what we wanted to do, he was always very helpful and encouraging of us to go out and drive the different vehicles and think about it until we were comfortable with our decision. Sales guy didnt seem to be much of car person. He showed me a very high end suv with an AMG badge & didnt know for sure what AMG stood for. Its important to me that a sales person know everything about their products. I like developing relationships with people I do business with & got to talking about other luxury brands - Bentley, Rolls-Royce, etc. He abruptly said do you have anymore questions about Mercedes before we close. It was a good half hour before that time. I got there about an hour before closing albeit on a Friday night. It shouldnt matter if I arrived 5 minutes before closing. If Im going to spend that kind of money you accommodate the customer. His question gave me the definite impression that he was more concerned with getting out of there on time. He didnt have a brochure. Really? No brochure for a very expensive car? He referred me to their website. I asked him if Mercedes made a million dollar car. He didnt know & said it wouldnt be smart for me to spend my money (which I said initially I wanted to be smart with) that way. This felt very judgmental and I dont need to be told how to spend my money. As I was putting my coat on to leave we were talking near the front door. Some guy Id seen outside who was not an employee but told me he was delivering cars interrupted our conversation with something that could have & should have waited. When he saw that the sales guy was busy he should have just had a seat & waited. The sales guy could have & should have told him that he was with a customer (obviously) and hed be with him when he done. So, in the middle of our conversation he walks away with this guy. This did not cause me to feel valued and was disrespectful. I have no incentive to go back. There are plenty of other places to get a Mercedes or other luxury brand. Ill be contacting management/owner. But here - the court of public opinion - is more important. I hate snooty sales people. You wont be getting my business Randall.
On a road trip from Seattle to San Francisco in our 2011 C300, in Oregon found a possible problem and stopped at Medford MB at 7am (they open at 8am). I came in with hopes and left with a smart car. My car I came with was a salvage, but Randall said he could see what he could do. After two test drive, an hour or two, and a couple of offers of coffee I left with my 2013 Pure. Everyone was friendly and I very much enjoyed my time with Randall as we waited for the financing.

I have purchased two vehicles through this dealership. I dropped off my SUV for a carwash. They asked if they could keep the vehicle overnight so they could perform recall repairs. We than received a call letting me know it would be a couple days to get the parts. While the vehicle was in their care it was one if multiple vehicles broken into. They called me and let me know of the break in and asked for the list of personal property that was in the vehicle. When we presented them with the list they said nothing would be covered or done for our experience. As someone who leases the vehicles I do so for the ease of ownership and the service provided by the dealership. Needless to say I cant in good conscience recommend this dealership. In my other experiences with similar situations the service center took responsibility for the cars in their care.
Not impressed, nice enough people, but offered to sell me a Mercedes E300 for $4,000.00 more than they have it priced on the internet. I think that is a little bit questionable...Its a mistake Okay, but its not my mistake. Hopefully they dont do this often, but be aware, check the internet price before you buy from them.
I recently bought my first Mercedes and I absolutely loved the buying experience. The sales staff was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the latest models.I had the pleasure of doing business with Todd - I was even treated to pizza for lunch while the finances were squared away!Ive purchased from a couple local dealers in the past, Crater Lake Mazda, Lithia Toyota, and a couple gravel lots - Mercedes has been the absolute best!I absolutely love my new car and I think Ive just become a life-long Mercedes driver!
We were interested in a low-mileage, slightly pre-owned car, no more than two years old. We were almost positive we would have to go to Portland to find a good deal and a good selection. We did all our homework and approached Mercedes of Medford, our local dealer, before heading north. Much to our surprise, we found what we wanted at a competitive price. I have a 2015 Mercedes Sprinter 144 WB high roof essentially new under warranty. The tire pressure sensor came on the dash display. We have been running the factory suggested (sticker on driver door) PSI of 47 front, 70 rear for 18k miles with no issues. Here is where the confusion begins. Mercedes Medford stated that the door info was incorrect although stating they had no info confirming that from Mercedes Corporate. They also stated that the tire sensor was set to 67 PSI, but had no answer or info as to why the discrepancy between door and sensor existed. I continued to point out that this didnt make sense. The employees in service seemed to become upset/frustrated at me. Finally after several phone calls and a couple visits (same day), the main tech agreed that this was in fact strange, and agreed to investigate. Unfortunately the above example mirrors other communications with Mercedes Medford, OR. The individuals who receive the initial communications with customers are not very knowledgeable especially when specific questions are presented. However, they attempt to appease with vague answers that often are void of logic and a simple understanding of the concern of the customer. For the record, this is my first online review. I have never been compelled to pen one. However, I purchased a Mercedes over other models for the quality of vehicle and the presumption that the service would match that quality.

Its easier to provide good customer service when everything is working fine; cars, loans, test drive, etc. However, a true testament of the companys customer service is when things are complicated and when things dont go according to plan. I was in this situation; Sarah Calhoun and Matt Meade of Mercedes-Benz went above and beyond to help me. Other dealerships would have easily walked away with my situation but they made sure everything was in order even after the completion of the transaction. Although, I live 6 hours away from them I will most likely come back to Mercedes-Benz of Medford for my next car purchase.
I am very pleased with my new car. I had a great experience buying my car thanks to Russell Manzone. The rest of the staff at the dealership was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely buy another car from this establishment, and I would also send new customers there with a clear conscience.
Very expensive, SAID I NEEDED AN OIL PAN, BUT DID NOT. wanted 500.00 for a pan, i got one for 104.00 but found out i didnt need it.

In Reply to Matt Burkholder: Thank you first off for your response.. let me rephrase this.. after not being contacted back by the service department manager Roger Sult which I very clearly left a voicemail on his phone.. perhaps he didnt want to find sympathy in the fact that my mom is 66 years old and cant afford what she was quoted so he did not return the call to me?I decided to do every diagnostic possible on the current issue on my mothers vehicle.. I also was quoted for the work of OVER $500 by the parts department, which the same work that I researched on Mercedes Benz forums people got done for $180 AT other Dealerships.People on the forum claim that they paid between $180 and $220 to get a reprogrammed key which is why I am a bit disappointed to get quoted almost 60% compared to those other supposed MB dealerships.The vehicle in and of itself should not be this dysfunctional as to require a visit to the dealer when its over 15 years old already, and no my mother who gets just $189 in social security every month cant afford to buy a new one and sorry Im not a good enough son apparently to afford to buy one for her either just yet, maybe thats because I dont own a mercedes benz dealership.In particular shes pretty screwed here all in all because her car is not starting, and changing the fuses and battery tomorrow before being absolutely forced into going with your service department due to the apparent monopoly on the technology repair that Mercedes has going for them.A separate customer service experience I had.. I was quoted by the parts manager a price of I $278 to get the transmission fluid flushed by Rick Barry who got that price from Jeff.. I then walked 15 feet down the hall to sit down with Miss Meade who then quoted me $446 for the same job!That was the best thing I ever saw in my 33 years of customer service quotes on this earth. Of course after talking to Rick Barry he then agreed that $446 was the price we were looking at instead and she was right. Of course he would side with her, and the parts manager as well said they were disposal fees, $168 in disposal fees!??! Just hilarious.SPECIFICALLY heres whats going on:99 CLK 430The key is responding to unlocking and locking and panic button, however when Key is in position 0 - dash comes on displays mileage..(Key will not TURN to the right) it is locked in that position. The manual said the battery could possibly do that, which I thought it was at first because her battery was at 5% when we left it at a friends house. After charging the battery we still have the key in position 0 not moving. I bought 5, 7.5, 10, 15, and 20 amp ATC fuses to replace as many as I can and will hopefully find a resolution before having to bring it in. Even so, this has been a very frustrating experience and I dont like to see my mom being taken advantage of in any way, shape or form.
Incredibly bad service! ! No one answers the phone, no one returns your calls, no one responds to an email. With that said, Rachael and Randall were very helpful.
I recently bought a car from Mercedes Benz of Medford Oregon.Every thing from buying to delivering car to me went very quick and easy way.My bought my last car 10 years ago, and I was bit worried about it but, Russel Manzone helped me in very positive experience.I live about 5 hours north from dealer and I was going to take airway down to pick my car on a weekend. Things got busy and I couldnt make down to pick car up, Russell brought it up to my office.Everything and anything it has been a true good experience.
Russ Manzone and crew are terrific. They worked with me on financing as a person with a whole life and made everything easy. I was actually so shocked I didnt believe it and Russ was very patient with me while I adjusted my mindset to being able to get the Smart Car so quickly. Russ also makes himself very available to the customer.As for the Smart Car. I love it. Its just right for me as a single mom who sticks close to home for the most part. It looks tiny on the outside, but is spacious on the inside. With the passenger seat folded down, I even fit my sons bicycle.It could be Mercedes gateway car!Thanks so much for the help.Delaine

My wife and I were recently in the market for a new suv, and visited several lots, including Mercedes Benz of Medford. I had never been on a Mercedes Benz lot before, and didnt know what to expect. We dealt with Randall Grealish, who we found to be a total breath of fresh air. What we liked most about Randall was that he wasnt pushy in the least, and really made an effort to find the right fit for us. I also want to add that we appreciate how patient he was with us. We ended up buying a vehicle, and very much enjoyed the whole experience. Randall did an excellent job of explaining and demonstrating the various features of the cars, as well as making the buying process flow smoothly and quickly. Todd Hoffman and the rest of the staff were also great to work with, very friendly and helpful. We love our car and would recommend this dealership to anyone who asks.

I dropped my smart car - that I purchased at this same dealership - off for a mere oil change & simple diagnostics check for a light on the dashboard that had come on. When I inquired about the bill, it came back at approx. $545! The lady who told me about this (Shannon) was exceedingly kind & helpful.Still, this was a bit unexpected for me (due my own misunderstanding). Today (11/27-17) I went to the service mgr., Roger Sulz (sp?) to inquire further about the surprisingly high cost for the oil change & diagnostics test.Mr. Sulz was very congenial & patient in breaking down the costs, which made much more sense when he got finished explaining since this car only needs servicing annually. Further, he worked hard to help knock down a substantial amount of the cost to help his customer. True customer service & a gentleman.They have earned our business & we will likely be purchasing another vehicle from them soon due to their excellent service. As always, you get what you pay for. You wont go wrong w. this dealership!

Interestingly I recd a quote to repair my ragtop for $2500.00, when I told them I didnt believe the items concerning the top needed to be repaired they got snooty. So I took the car to Superior Auto, they repaired the top for $250.00. The people at MBM need a little shot of honesty and humility in their service department.
Buyer Beware! Know the details of the vehicle your buying before you sign ANYTHING! They waited till paperwork was signed before mentioning the SUV was actually NOT an AMG, it just had the badge on it.
Always very friendly, professional, and courteous. They even washed and dried my car when they were finished with it :-)
I buy alot of parts here for my sprinter . and I must say they are the friendliest group of people ever. Not sure if its because they have to be due to the product they sell and what the customer expects out of Mercedes . but its nice to be treated like my dollar matters .

I needed back struts replaced on my ML350. Their service department said they were in stock and made a thursday appointment for me. I was 80 miles away and took the car in Wednesday evening only to find out that they didnt have the parts. I ended up driving 160 miles out of my way!!!... total incompetence!! I will never return or recommend their service dept.
