Great grocery store with a lot of Turkish goods! Their delivery service is also very convenient. I particularly would recommend trying the Turkish baklava/sarma that they sell.
The best market in New England, polite staff, great produce and and ethnic food! Thank you Cenk and Team.
Its a nice supermarket thats specialized in middle eastern and Asian products. They have good selection of high quality Turkish groceries. They also have butcher in house but its now closed due to Covid-19. However meat and by products are available. They also bake fresh pastries or Turkish pide from time to time. They also have good quality legumes and food prep products along with specialty spices. This place is getting better every time I visit
Love this store and the variety of Turkish Goods and Halal Meats available.Don’t listen to the tone deaf reviews written by the Karen’s of world complaining that this store has changed its focus from being a typical American grocery store to a Turkish American Grocery store. There are limited options for people like myself to find halal goods and specific types of vegetables here in BOS so this version of Freerange is EXACTLY what we need. Also, the service is perfectly fine. There is a bit of a language barrier for some of the staff at times but there is always someone nearby to translate if needed.Freerange, keep doing what you’re doing and ignore the ignorant Karen’s who are mad that you all don’t sell Folgers and Oscar Mayer.
I finally had the opportunity to visit Freerange Market, today. I had been looking forward to it for a long time because many of my students had recommended it to me and it looked so great on social media. This wonderful grocery store really lived up to my expectations: large, well-laid out, well presented, good lighting, very clean and very careful with COVID-19 precautions. Of course, the selection and quality of products is amazing. Thank you, Freerange Market. I have just found my new favorite grocery store.
I wish this place was more popular, they have so much interesting and fresh stuff. Its the only place I know to get an elderflower sparkling drink. Fruit and vegetables were nice and fresh. Only reason I give 4 stars is that its a little overpriced and kinda out of the way. But to stay open these days I imagine it has to be a little more expensive than a traditional supermarket. Id rather shop here still. Going to start going there more regularly, Id suggest other people do as well.
Today we tried their Turkish street food specialty Tantunu It was simply Yummy.. They have a different street food item every weekend. Thumbs Up...
Beware they dont accept US currency at all. Must have a credit card etc. Interesting mix of mostly foreign foods.
This place has really changed. They had a great thing going for them, especially at the beginning of quarantine. Super convenient for residents of next door apartment buildings. They previously stocked fresh meats and cheeses, and had a cafe with Union Square Donuts. Over the last several months, they have totally transitioned into a Turkish market. No more cafe, almost exclusively Turkish foods and brands, and Turkish music played all day. I understand if that’s their speciality, but it’s not really targeting their previous customer segmentation. I rarely find what I’m looking for now, the prices are (and frankly, have always been) very high, and the store is filled with boxes. I no longer look forward to going there, but it does the trick in a pinch. Really hoping they go back to their old ways.
Very good Turkish market. Up to date clean and normal priced. You feel like you are in a high quality supermarket in istanbul. Need to put more cooked Turkish food and meat section
This place is so cool, so many different snacks!
One star for the girl that rang me up yesterday. No customer service skills whatsoever. I asked about the café she responded “it’s closed”. I could clearly see that, but I didn’t know about the café being there and I asked when it opened, she said “tomorrow”. I’m like ok?? What are the hours? She gave me attitude and said something I couldn’t hear. The way she handled my purchase seemed like it was rushed. Besides that bad experience, their products are amazing! I wish I could rate the store products themselves an 11/10. Please train staff to be more polite. I really do think the store is awesome and has really good stuff, but I really don’t want to get the feeling like I’m shopping at some regular grocery (won’t mention any chain names) store because of the staff.
Great Turkish Serpme Breakfast on Sunday, woth outdoor seating!!
Great store !I found tons of product with great prices.I have been a lot of Turkish grocery but this one is the best.
People who work there are so nice and kind. Thank you for your service guys!)
Excellent selection of products from Turkey and all over the world. Great service.
Amazing follow up and attention to customer needs. Our first interaction with these folks has been nothing short of excellent!
Great organic and unique grocery. I love their range of products. They always have new and exciting products not commonly seen in your regular grocery. Love their vegan range also. Staff is always very friendly. Highly recommend checking them out.
Super expensive
This is a great addition to Rivers Edge Drive. Very organized, clean, and lots of interesting products! The staff is also very welcoming and helpful. My first time in there I was greeted by a man with dreadlocks, I believe his name was Kyle he definitely made my shopping experience wonderful and was very helpful, educated on products, and witty. The cafe has really tasty cappuccino’s. I stop by the cafe to get a coffee almost everyday now.
I love it there. I can find anything I want especially Turkish food. Very clean and organize. Owner also very nice to customers. Very good service.
Great store, friendly customer service, high quality food
Great place for international grocery products with good quality and variety. 2020 international gold award winner olive oil Nova Vera Memecik is sold in this store as well.
I enjoy the store but was hoping the staff and customers wear mask. So I headed over to Trader Joes i love the way they operate
Best clean😘😘😘😘 staff all friendly
Ordered groceries for delivery and the staff was super helpful with finding substitutions that we would enjoy. Highly recommend!
Plenty of new and unique products that are locally sourced. I was able to find some hard to find treats I LOVE!!! Even better, they have a cafe! Plenty of parking (covered parking garage FREE) and street side. Lovely staff, super knowledgeable and attentive. Found my new fav spot!
Great local spot that you can shop and get work done. They have a cafe with free WiFi.... Its quiet 😁#winning
Super friendly team, great range of drinks and eats. Was a lovely sunny day out but even considered sitting in. Adding it to my list of Sunday brunch spots.
The perfect place to grab breakfast pastries for the office. The market itself is great too. It has a nice modern look, many options, and is very spacious. So happy to see this addition to River’s Edge!
Great store full of high quality and unique groceries. Cafe is a comfortable and peaceful place to grab a drink and hang out for a while. Well designed space!
Great mini-grocery store. Its clean, well organized, and has tons of interesting products and kitchen staples. The cafe portion is also excellent: delicious donuts and pastries and capuccino.
Excellent mid to small-sized grocery store near a restaurant bar & a cafe all on a riverfront park setting with bike / pedestrian paths connecting to all the local paths of the immediate area. A food supply refuge on a critical juncture in this otherwise dense highway & rail crossed urbanization.
I liked the things for sale, but I didnt enjoy the experience. The store was empty of customers and when my partner and I went in we were pretty much ignored by all of the employees. We walked around and checked everything out, and brought our selections up to pay, but the cashier was dismissive. After we paid, we went to check out their cafe area. My partner asked if there was a gluten free bread option, and the cafe cashier didnt have an answer (its worrying when a food service employee doesnt know what foods they serve or what allergens they contain). We left and ate our snacks and decided it wasnt worth going back. If the customer service was much better I would make an effort to go and support the business. But it doesnt seem worth it. I can buy all the products they offered at different stores with better customer service.
Very good selection of Turkish and Mediterranean food
Great Staff Experience. Very Helpful
Great location, great staff and wonderful products (all natural and healthy speciality products) with very reasonable prices. Highly recommended..
Excellent grocery, clean, with good selections. They are also open to suggestions. It is exactly what the neighborhood needed. Prices not significantly different from Whole Foods.
One word - AMAZING!
Clean and friendly environment, I found plenty of healthy food, some new brands that I didnt know and absolutely worth a try, and some original made n Italy products (I am sure about that as I am Italian).
Very nice clean place loved it
Nice place for breakfast and a good grocery with amazing products.
May be good to hang in there for coffee and snacks. But definetively not for groceries. Sadly, limited brands to choose and pricey.
Nothing is cheap here I rather to go Watertown all stores better than this place
A lovely market with kind staff and locally sourced products. The coffee is great as well!
Great small local grocery in an exquisite apartment complex
Excellent market, high quality & fresh produce, good selections, very clean, modern, spacious and easy to navigate. WELCOME to the neighborhood!
Great selection and good donuts at the cafe!
Wish every grocery store was this place! Highly recommended!
Great place with ethnic groceries and low prices
4.28 for a cup of coffee. Are you kidding me?? No drip coffee in the world is worth spending almost 5 bucks. What a joke. Cant imagine what the food cost.
