Our 16 yr old AC and 24 yr old furnace needed replacement - never a fun thing to spend money on.. We obtained a total of 5 quotes from other reputable local contractors, and, deemed Zinn the best price and value. Zinn provided great service throughout the entire process -from pricing to installation. The crew ran into some unexpecting equipment issues, but handled and resolved them well. Can confidently give them 5 stars!

A few years ago we had issues with our HVAC system holding a temperature. Called around and most places tried selling us new units despite our current unit being relatively modern. Zinn was honest and said they’d take a look and may be able to fix it. After a quick inspection, they diagnosed it and quoted us a great, very honest price, and proceeded to repair our system successfully. Years later our system is still in tip-top shape. I recently ran into the owner and we chatted for a little bit. She is extremely kind and it’s easy to tell they truly care about what they do. I would very strongly recommend Zinn and we will definitely call them again if another problem arises.

We called Zinn to replace our old furnace and install some additional duct work/vents. Once we accepted the proposal they were quick to schedule the install - it was a 1 ½ day project. The technicians arrived promptly and were completely professional and thorough, and cleaned up after the job was complete. We are extremely happy with the service provided by Zinn from estimate through install and will absolutely be using them in the future.

Right after the storm in late 2020 that knocked everyones power out for days, our furnace died. Zinn was able to diagnose and replace our furnace in record time. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. We turned on our AC for the first time this season and it didnt work. So we called Zinn again. They arrived quickly, diagnosed and fixed the problem. Then refused payment because they believe they messed up some wiring when installing the furnace months ago. Truly, I cant say enough good things about these people. Call them!

This was my first time using Zinn Mechanical. I was very pleased with Brandons expertise in performing a furnace tune-up. Technicians Ive had in the past didnt check all the things Brandon did. He was very courteous and professional. Also, had Randy (the owner) come out to give me an estimate on how much it would cost me to replace my existing Aprilaire humidifier with a newer model. He gave me a very reasonable quote and, subsequently, I had Bob come out to install the new equipment. He, too, was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional and all of them wore masks and covered their shoes. I will be using them in the future and will definitely refer Zinn Mechanical to others.

Ive used Zinn Mechanical for multiple maintenance services and for two issues. Every time they were on-time, very knowledgeable, and professional. I did have a replacement blower motor that failed within the first three months of having it, but no worries! Zinn took care of the issue keeping this customer happy.

Our neighborhood pool needed to replace the boiler that heated tne pool. I had no idea who to call to replace a boiler. Called Randy and the service he provided was outstanding. From calculating the size of the boiler we needed, to delivery and insallation, Randy and his crew were great. We initially had an in person talk with Randy Zinn (owner) about what we needed. He spent all the time necessary to answer all our questions. Once we agreed on what needed to be done he quickly came back with a detailed quote. He got us on the work schedule then sent a crew over to begin the work. They showed up on time and ready to work. Randy even came on the first day to introduce us to the crew and explain in detail to them what needed to be done. We thought that was a great idea to do an on-site review of the work to be done. After the on-site review Randy left the crew to do the work. The crew (Mike, Bob and Brandon) were all profession, courteous and efficient. We laughed because we told them they did not have to wear the booties on their shoes because we were replacing the carpets anyway. They said thanks but it is company policy to wear the booties. They wore the booties. Mike kept us up to speed on what was going on during the day then gave us a wrap up at the end of the day. When the job was complete Mike gave us a tutorial on how to use our new system. Brandon, although very young, was by no means inexperienced. This business must have a very good training program because the entire crew was very competent. When the crew left for the last time you wouldn’t even know they were here. Everything was cleaned up. We called Zinn to service our air conditioner that had not been touched in at least 13 years (except by chipmunks).On top of that, they leveled the unit that was sinking into the ground at an odd angle. The service provided by Blake was top-notch. He gave us a thorough explanation of everything he was doing as well as reviewing his work with us when he was done. We called Zinn because of commercials I heard on the Fish. Brandon came out and gave us a diagnosis that we needed a new furnace, which really was not what we wanted to hear in December, but it was what it was. Randy was out the next day to give us an estimate and a date for the install. Installer showed up a few minutes before the quoted time, finished in a day, cleaned up everything and we could not be happier. They were professional, friendly, did an amazing job and we have heat!

So my AC crapped out on one of the hottest most humid days of the year. Colleen was able to squeeze us in for a same day appointment. Blake came out early in the afternoon and got us up and going before the evening. I highly recommend Zinn Mechanical. I called for a problem with the air filtration system and I decided to have them do the yearly maintenance on the furnace and air conditioning as well. They worked me in quickly. Brandon was on time and was very courteous and knowledgable. What a God-send! My wife and I spent years getting local HVAC guys to work on our boiler. They would get it working better, but it never lasted. Zinn Mechanical came out and quickly discovered issues that nobody else even noticed; and they were all simple fixes! We were so pleased with their work and professionalism that we hired them to install a new air conditioning unit and air-handler. When we decided to remodel our bathrooms the guys were happy to come back out and move the radiators for us. I would highly recommend Randy and his crew for any heating and cooling needs. My air conditioning unit blew out when the temps were in the high 80s, and being a senior I was having a hard time handling the heat. Colleen answered the phone and was very sympathetic to my plight. Randy and his team squeezed me in and came the next day to do the repairs. Not only were their prices more than fair, they were kind, considerate, and very respectful of me, my home, yard, and carpeting. For heating and air conditioning I will never used anyone else.

We had a problem with our electric heat pump keeping up with the desired temperature in our home on a Sunday. We called Zinn Mechanical and they returned our call shortly after and scheduled an appointment for us that following morning. Paul was our technician. He was amazing! He took the time to check everything and explained everything about how the electric heat pump works. He then suggested for us to use our furnace in the winter rather then the heat pump which using the furnace is the most efficient way to heat our home. We just moved in to our home 6 months ago so the heat pump is something new to us. Thanks to Paul being so knowledgeable and caring to take the time to teach us we now understand the function of our heating source. We would definitely recommend Zinn Mechanical for all your heating and cooling needs.

I attempted to set up inspections for a planned maintenance plan of 9 business locations, communication was good at first but it fell through after the initial contact. Colleen had set up some inspections dates which were first rescheduled due to weather and was communicated effectively. But upon the reschedule of those same locations I wasn’t made aware of rescheduling until I reached to confirm less than 24 hours from the scheduled appointments. I found this highly disappointing as communication is key to a successful and effective vendor relationship, should we need service in the future we need to feel confident in the team behind the service. I have found the experience disappointing & the staff seems to be relatively new and longevity of employment/turn over in my experience is high. I have found a better company to represent our companies needs and wouldn’t recommend Zinn Mechanical for your service needs.

Great customer service! I called for a technician when my furnace wasnt working properly. Within the hour a technician was here. Blake quickly figured out what the issue was, and then went a step further to do an overall maintenance check to ensure everything else was in good working order. He explained everything in detail and gave me tips for things to look out for if we run into any other issues with our furnace.

Very nice experience from the sale to the installation. Randy came to the house in the evening, gave us his proposal for complete system with no pushy sales tactics. Price was lower than another local company and included Aprilaire filter and humidifier and moving some pipes and the condenser to a different location.Job scheduled 3 days later and Taylor had his crew here 8am sharp, had furnace working before leaving for the day and came back the next day to finish A/C in the pouring rain. Very courteous and took time to answer any questions politely. Didn’t leave any mess behind and made sure everything was correct with us before he left. Great job to ALL!

We could not be more thrilled with the service that Zinn provided. We had 2, 3 ton ACs installed where they replaced the older units. The gentleman installing the units could not be more kind. Very polite. Very professional. Very knowledgeable on what needed to happen and when. They were great with my young kids around as they came and went. They were very understanding of my dog as well. I asked Zinn Mechanical to provide me a quote on having a new bypass humidifier installed. Randy, the owner, came to my home, pointed out that my current unit was in good shape, cycled my solenoid valve several times, and found a water valve that needed to be opened. Zinn Mechanical installed my April Aire on my furnace. This was my first experience with using them. I found them to be excellent in selecting the right April Aire system for my needs. When we learned that we needed a new furnace/ac system, we proceeded to get 3 quotes from area companies. We realize when reviewing quotes, it is not always comparing apples to apples. Zinns price upon first glance appeared slightly higher; however, upon further study, their quote actually offered the best value and was designed with our particular concerns of safety and comfort in mind. As we met with Paul Zinn, we were offered options that would give us peace of mind regarding our particular concerns. No other company made those options available. Also, there was absolutely no high pressure to sign a contract. The day of installation went as described by Paul and the team of 3 were respectful, careful, knowledgeable and helpful. Clean-up was also thorough. (Mr. Randy Zinn, you can be proud of your team!) Once the job was completed, Paul gave us detailed instruction on using the system for which we are appreciative. There are several reputable companies in our area who we believe would have done a good job in providing us with a reliable system. However, what we discovered sets Zinn Mechanical a notch above is their integrity and ethical way of doing business. We look forward to being their customers for years to come!

I have a postcript to my rather negative review written below. Yesterday I received a call from Colleen Zinn, one of the owners, regarding my posting on Google. She was extremely pleasant and wanted me to go over the entire visit by her technician. I have to give Ms. Zinn full credit as she offered to refund the $79 charge. I accepted and she assured me that she would put a check in the mail. As someone who is also in the service industry I appreciated the followup and the gracious (and correct) offer to return the money.We had Zinn Mechanical to our house to do a furnace check. We chose them because of their radio advertising on AM 1420. They sent a very nice man who told us we needed to buy a new blow motor (over $500) and a new flame regulator (over $150). We decided to get a second opinion from another company that we had used before. The second company told us that the flame regulator just needed a cleaning and the blow motor was perfectly fine. I can only surmise that based on the size of our property it was an opportunity to make a sale that was clearly unneccessary.

Beyond Impressed!! Zinn Mechanical exceeded our expectations in every way. Friendly customer service, great price along with talented professional technicians doing the installation. We needed our entire HVAC system replaced fast and thats exactly what happened. Zinn delivered in every way, we highly recommend them, they will be our first call the next time we need anything.

Our air conditioner was not working and after trying all the easy fixes (cleaning condenser fins, checking filter, etc.) I decided to call Zinn. I have heard their advertisement on AM 1420, read their reviews and had friends who recommended them. Colleen worked with me to get us an in hours appointment quickly (next day) as they were currently booked solid (which I know understand why based on the excellent service we recieved) saving me the after hours charge. Blake arrived at the house and immediately started through a thorough inspection checklist. Ended up being our capacitor which he replaced and immediately the cool air started flowing. Blake was professional and courteous. Highly recommend Zinn for any of your HVAC needs.

Zinn designed and installed an AC system for my 92-year-old house. They worked with me to find a system that would work but not break the bank. When the inevitable glitches came up, they worked patiently and methodically to find the issues and fix them at no extra charge. It is now working perfectly and I couldnt be happier with their service. I would not hesitate to contact Zinn at any time in the future or to recommend them to inquiring customers.This is now six years later. There has been no problem with the A/C Zinn installed. The companys technician just left after my annual check up. While nothing was wrong, he checked thoroughly, and washed the one filter that needed cleaning. I remain a die-hard Zinn fan.
