They damaged my car lamination and were claiming that it was in the same state when dropped. The staff lied on the photos taken. I don’t recommend them for expensive/any car repairs. Very bad experience from the entire team. Their reason was “the scratches are a result of the sun” on laminated hood. Please look up any image on the internet of a car peeling from the sun and tell me if the picture of my car hood looks anything like that. Unbelievable. Even in the minuscule chance that this would have happened, this isn’t something that just happens in little over two weeks. I would have most definitely noticed that.Please note the damages done to the lamination is not fixed. I will ensure that I will take this feedback to Mercedes Benz directly on twitter and facebook.They didn’t even wash the car.I read the reviews of other customers . Looks like you team has not learnt any lessons from the past mistakes. The scratches in my car looks like intentionally done to express employee employer frustration. Wake up and fix the issues before you go out of business..!!!

Worst body shop experience I’ve ever had to endure. Dan Baker and Dan Holmes were most unprofessional and just down right rude. We were told 3-4 days to complete work on our vehicle. They ordered the wrong parts and took 2 weeks to complete the car. These guys do not know how to perform a proper estimate. Our price tripled from the original estimate as though they had an open tab.They tried to blame Audi. And don’t try to argue with these guys either, they have an excuse for everything. Want some advice, take your car somewhere else and do not allow this business or these guys to perform work on your vehicle. Ive read these reviews and it seems they try to respond making it seem as though they are attempting to care and resolve the issue. I can assure you they were given that opportunity. They simply don’t care. If I could rate lower than 1 star, you can believe I would. Thieves and Liars!!

The good - the staff friendliness, quick checking in and out and overall the job was done. A few things that could use improvement would be inspection prior to giving back the vehicle after body work - the front left bumper that was fixed had a horizontal white line about 7 inches or so that I had to buff out myself. It came off so no big deal, but you’d think that would be taken care of prior to pick up, particularly the area being fixed. Secondly, I planned to have an oil change while my car was at Toyota for 7 days - I had spoke with service prior to and the body shop, but somehow it was “overlooked” and now have to take more time to go and sit for an hour + to have that done. Finally, when getting back into my decently new car (almost 12k miles), a wave of a nasty smell hit me and is now lingering, taking over the new car smell I had before. Like sweaty body odor or urine, so that’s fun. But otherwise, the job is done and that’s the important part.

Mike and Dan Holmes were a pleasure to deal with, it took a little longer than expected but the quality of work was more than worth it. When I got my car back everything was lined up perfectly and my Audi looked better than when I picked it up. I can not give this shop a better review and will bring my vehicles here for any future repairs

Very poor communication and updates. As proposed, it would only about 3-4 days and end up 6 days past. And no calls or communication until the day it was finished. I am looking below some reviews and this has been an ongoing issues with this company about punctually and time frame. If the work is past to what is expected- it could have been easy and understandable if they will reach out or update the customers with time frame of work.(This has been my second time to have work done and the first one was the same experience. I could have learned my lesson on the first time and the work done during the first time was very bad painting and repair.)There are also concerns and works I’d like to be done within the time frame and period the car was being taken care of- which i was hoping was taken care of already since no one reached out about some other concerns I asked. No updates and work details made until the day I’m taking the car. Platinumwerks have not addressed some issues during the time period of 10 days but I was given option on that same day if I’m still interested to have it done at the time I’m taking back my car.

Unfortunately I had a car crash past December and I was advised by Porsche Melbourne to send out my car to Platinumwerks since they are Porsche authorized. I had a brand new cayenne and my car had 5 weeks old/1700 miles. Even though being super upset with the car accident (no fault), I had the best experience with the shop. Dominik Bryan took care of my car. His customer care was above and beyond. His patience and honesty were outstanding. He handled the process with the insurance company so properly and kept me informed of all steps. I am extremely happy with the outcome but to be honest, what gave me a piece of mind was the perfectionism and the impeccable care/work team attitude that Dominik had. I would recommend the shop to any high end cars.The best experience ever!Thank you for making the bad experience being a good one... you guys are unique.

Dominic and the PlatinumWerks staff were amazing from start to finish. I had previous quotes from other collision centers and what sold me on Platinumwerks was Dominic. His knowledge of not only the process but the details of my car were outstanding. We were kept consistently in the loop on part lead times and what exactly was taking place with our repair. I would highly recommend them for any body work and especially on higher end vehicles.

Someone had attempted to cover-up damage to my vehicle by using, possibly nail polish, on a spot on my drivers door panel of my new Toyota Highlander recently purchased from Toyota of Melbourne. PlatinumWerks came to my rescue and Dan Holmes and Jordan Nunez sprung into action and had the matter rectified within 20 minutes. Jordan was able to quickly wetsand the spot and it looked like new when he finished...the alternative if the spot was deeper was a $522 repair job. Their honesty and integrity in handling the matter without charging me speaks volumes about their workmanship! Any future issues will be handled by Platinumwerks.

Great experience! Dropped my truck off and they had a driver take me to enterprise for my rental with no wait. Very quick with my repairs and were able to accommodate me and coordinate my pickup time with my work schedule. This was extremely important due to the fact I live in Port St. John. Very professional and my truck looks as good as new! Thanks for the great experience! Highly recommend!

Needed a ding repaired on my 2019 GT3RS. I had two places beg off the repair because of the location on the car but I was suggested to try the folks at Platinum Werks. The whole team from Dan Holmes to the PDR tech were great. they were positive in what they could do and took care of it to my high standard. All for a fair price.

No one wants to have to get their car repaired after an accident, dealing with the insurance company. Dan Baker and his team were fantastic to work with. They are true professionals that provide much needed guidance and advice throughout the process. This is a shout out to Nichole the best customer service rep I have experienced in a very long time. She was attentive and professional to all my needs. Sometimes people dont understand that there are many facets to repairing a vehicle. There are parts that must be ordered and even though we has customers are eager to get back into our cars there is a waiting process and it could be the mfgr is the hold up and not platinum Werks. I understand these types of issues, but not every does. I see the caring and hard work that these individuals do to ensure we (the customer) can get back into our vehicles has fast as possible. I also recognize the respect they have especially Nichole. She ensured that I was pleased. Nichole, I think you are great!!!Platinum Werks thank you my vehicle looks fantastic!!!!!

Had a wonderful experience here a month ago with estimator, Dan Holmes. I was upset that I had grazed a short, (not visible from driver’s seat) yellow painted cement pole next to a parking space I backed out of. Yellow paint was all over my front side bumper. Dan worked his magic w/ a couple of solutions & rubbed the paint off so I could drive home without my husband seeing the damage that had been there previously.Again today he provided excellent advice regarding a minor repair to another vehicle. Dan is an asset toToyota’s Platinumwerks collision center.

Danny Baker and his team showed me exemplary customer service. After fixing a problem with my car 3 1/2 years ago, there were a couple issues that came up. I met with Danny and he made an appointment with me in a week. He assured me that he and his team would take care my car and not to worry. They allowed me to watch and explained everything to me as they worked. I felt like a real VIP. Not only did they fix everything, as a professional courtesy, they didn’t charge me. Do not bring your car here for an insurance quote. First thing they will do is have you sign a bunch of paper work releasing all your rights to your vehicle. Power of Attorney, Power to negotiate directly with your insurance company, Waiver of written quote... etc.I brough my vehicle here for a quote and was not able to take my car back. I was told I would have to pay over $800 for the disassembly of my vehicle, and if I paid the $800 they would not provide a quote to my insurance company.My only course of action was to let them have my car, and work with my insurance company without me being involved in the process. Proceed with peril if you are looking for an insurance quote on your vehicle. Take note of what they are asking you to sign upfront, before any work is done on the vehicle.

We had a very good experience at Platinumwerks Collision Center after bringing in our Toyota Corolla for an estimate after it was involved in a minor accident. Having Platinumwerks perform the assessment of the damage was critical to us because they could coordinate with Toyota to order parts and address any underlying structural damage. Latoya Hodges and Dan Pendleton took very good care of us and coordinated the insurance company estimates of two different insurers. They were both very attentive to us during the entire repair process from estimate to completion. They also worked with their parts suppliers to get us OEM parts at our request negotiating prices, when possible, to save us money on the OEM parts that we requested. Kudos to both Latoya and Dan for their efforts. Thanks!

With the early reviews I must assume that people are either super frustrated because they got in accident to begin with or just can’t ever be satisfied at all? I hesitated to drop my Mercedes off at Platinumwerks based on some of the earlier reviews I read but I can confidently tell you DON’T HESITATE to let this facility fix or restore your vehicle, especially a luxury car or high end sports car! In fact this should be the only shop you bring your car to! I asked for a tour of shop before I chose to leave my car and the shop was filled with newer Mercedes, Porsches’, Audis’, Tesla, and even a pearl white 2018 Ferrari. My car was repaired and painted flawlessly and the results are unreal! If you care about repairing or restoring your car to high factory standards then no other place should be considered. Thank you to the team at Platinum werks!

Took my car to them, was told the repair would be three days maybe four. Heard nothing from them so called to find out that the simple fix to the bumper cover had been sitting four days without any work on it in the paint shop. Manager told me he had a very strong discussion with painter and the painter was no longer there. That was on Friday, He also said I would get my car Monday or out-side chance on tues. I again at 4pm mon, having heard nothing, decided to call to check on the car. Guess what. Now they are saying Wednesday. Do not do business with these people they are completely unreliable. Too bad they are associated with Mercedes!I have had to postpone a planned extended trip that was supposed to begin on Friday pm. They offered to put me in a rental for the weekend, however my trip was to be three weeks long and it was clear that they would not rent me a car for three weeks. So now they have ruined my plans, caused me problems, and apparently are not concerned in any way, shape, or form about the needs of their customers.If I could rate them with a negative number you can bet that I would.

If you own a Porsche I HIGHLY recommend Platinum Werks! I have one of the rarest and most difficult colors to match, flagship Peridot green. Danny Baker and his professional team did an outstanding job matching the color with seamless precision and took the time with more than 3 sprays to get it right. More importantly, they went to bat with my insurance company in order to complete the repairs correctly. Porsche enthusiasts not only love their cars but value them as works of art. We demand the best and Platinum Werks hit it out of the park! I shopped several other businesses for the job and Danny Baker /Platinum Werks was the ONLY business that recommended the correct paint process for my unusual color and made sure it happened.

I will never do business with Platinumwerks Collision again! We took my wife’s sienna in after needing some work. It got dropped of March 26th. They had it 4 full weeks before they called us to tell us it was “done”. When we arrived we noticed the front bumper had not been “refinished” as it stated it would have been on our paper work. After they checked the paper work they agreed they needed to correct the problem. Then they had to 2 more weeks to paint the bumper. The day after we picked it up (we picked it up while they were closing) we were loading stuff into the back and noticed greasy hand prints all over the back hatch and the 3rd row leather seats, no big deal we’ll have them detail it right? Wrong! They don’t have a “detailer” but agreed they will give us a $75 voucher to get it detailed, which we’d still have to pay out of pocket to have it done right. This issue is still ongoing. Now a couple weeks later we notice a weird sour smell, didn’t think too much of it, and thought we needed to replace the cabin filter. Well wrong again, we go to buy a crib for out soon to be first born, and I go to fold the 3rd row down and notice he rear carpet is SOAKED. At least an inch of standing water in the rear hatch. (So when it was in the shop the first time they had to remove the rear hatch to complete the work needed) and it never leaked before this incident. So the carpet in the back is ruined, water logged, and has already developed mold on the underside. We call and immediately bring it in this is a Friday. We talk to Dan, he agrees this is a huge problem and will fix it ASAP and replace the carpet because of the mold. But can’t work on it until Monday. Bring it back Monday the 4th of June. And today we call and no one can give us a status update. And call back at 5 and tell us it’s done. So we drove back up to find out the carpet is still not replaced. There is still mold on the underside of the carpet. And on top of that when I pulled the carpet up to look at the underside, there loose bolts just laying underneath the carpet. So of course no one that’s in charge and can make a decision is there because it’s after 5 at this point. And now we have to leave it again, for them to “figure out what to do” so now we are still without our van. I brought our van to Toyota expecting to receive the highest quality factory OEM like standards, and I can honestly say that’s not what we have received. I will never take another vehicle of mine here again at this point and will definitely not recommend to anyone.
