We bought our pool 3 months ago 6/6/20 . We paid in FULL 4000.00 dollars and have not received it YET. 3 months as of sept.6th. We have called numerous times and spoke to Bruce we were told it would be a 3 WEEK TURN AROUND when we bought it. WE have scheduled the installers twice and had to cancel because our pool was delayed I understand that in the world we are living today with all the BS that’s going on things happen...BUT No phone call, No follow up, No time line...it’s like it never happened and he just took our 4000.00 DOLLARS and ran. I am honestly thinking I got scammed.🤬. Bruce told us for 2 months that Doughboys said they weren’t shipping pools at that time. We called Doughboy directly and they stated they are shipping pools daily. Be careful... I personally do not find this company reliable.

.Major problems with my unit after purchasing. Refused to send out a technician, the manufacturer would not help because Backyard Superstore is a 3rd party purchaser.Do your research and buy from a reputable dealer, not a 3rd party.

Ordered a hot tub part from Bruce, over $1,500, because of the delay and other reasons we had to cancel the order. I asked for a refund to be credited back to our charge card. As to date that still hasnt happened, he wont return my call, answer my email, and when he does answer he states hes with another customer. We were a customer also. Id like that same respect. I guess well have to start looking into other avenues to resolve this.What a disappointment.________We have never had to do that for a refund, and you should have the amount of the sale. The order was taken over the phone, so I am sure that a refund can be done over the phone.. I as well will call the credit card company.----------------------Bruce, I did call the credit card company, and sent you all the information needed via your website Contact page. Thank you.----‐-------------------------------7/7/20 The issue was resolved. We went to the store and Bruce refunded the money back onto our credit card.

Went in on Saturday 2/8/20. Nobody in the store. I mean nobody, like not even an employee. Finally, some dude who looked like a drug dealer walks out from the back some 10 minutes later. I ask him how the control module on the hot tub works. He doesnt even come over to me. He just says loudly from the other side of the room, its not gonna get hot right way. That wasnt even what I was asking, but if hes not even going to walk over to me, screw this place. Amazon wins again.

Before you buy here shop around!! Bruce seems nice but OVERPRICED everything. We paid twice as much. We purchased the same parts on amazon for less than half what he charged and used YouTube to fix our leaks. We are enjoying our hot tub and learned a lesson.

11-05-2020 editSo the new lid fell apart under 18 months and unfortunately its not covered under its warranty. After multiple messages with back yard superstore the manufacturer would not honor the warranty. Bruce at backyard superstore was as helpful as someone who just didnt care. His response to us from the manufacturer was different then the response from the manufacturer. But both responses ended with the same result. Yes we did end up purchasing a new lid from a different company and you can see the quality difference in all materials used. I am changing my review from 5 stars to 3 stars due to lack of concern and the wrong information provided to us from the manufacturer through backyard superstore.Edit Update 5-5-19The new lid has arrived and was perfect. Communication was fabulous. Extremely pleased. We will continue using Back Yard Superstore for all our hot tub needs.We purchased a new lid for our hot tub. Was quoted 2 weeks for delivery at 5 weeks they not only deliverd the wrong one but they cut my old one up. Was told by Bruce a new one would be here in 5-7 days. Its now two weeks later and we are still waiting.Backyard super store get your customer service skills together. You never called us once in the past 7 weeks we had to call you for all updates.Yesterday we called Bruce and he said it would be here today. So we stayed home waiting..Guess what we finally called asking what time its arriving and Bruce says hes still waiting for it to be shipped to them and had had no idea when they would receive it.Backyard Super Store and Bruce today makes 7 weeks. I have contacted my credit card company to place a charge back to the merchant until you actually deliver the correct hot tub lid.I will update this review once the new/ correct lid is receivedJohn CollinsVero Beach

Started off Great BRUCE was a super nice guy purchased about a 10,000 hot tub from him that started leaking about 10 months later.After a few calls “backdoor”superstore sends out a tech that basically knows less then I do about hot tubs on October 18th it’s now January and this POS is still leaking and getting worse and still no response from Bruce or the service tech Buyers Beware of what you purchase from this BACKDOOR superstore cause that’s what ya gonna get is backdoored HARD !!!!
