This is food 4 less in melrose park they are not clean I was shopping for Vegetables when I noticed flys all over the Vegetables and the Employee who worked over there was Notified and kept on stacking the mangers who work there should be replaced and the #USDA need to Inspect their food.

I dont why I thought this location would be different from the Cicero location, the place is a mess nothing is ever restocked. Cashiers well at least the one I had this morning act like she didnt want to be there. I would of done better going to Wal-Mart down the street

Clean well-lit store, wide aisles, good selection of meats, vegetables, fish & some of everything you could possibly need or want!!!👍👍👍💪

Long lines... all the way to where the eggs and milk are kept... where is the delegation at? Why isnt the manager on a register too?? Come on... get it moving... everyone needs to be trained on registers for this reason. Why isnt self check out open?? Get it together

Last few times Ive been there the check out lines are horrible very long.

Don’t understand why I still shop here. Always low staff. Cashiers always have a bad ATTITUDE. MANAGEMENT does not now how to organize there employees. Minimum 30 people per check out and only three open. And to agree with another post. Where is manager ? His lazy but should be at check out also

I like most of the prices in this store. Just one complaint the floors need to be clean better. The one male employee and check out was very friendly. I appreciate the fact that they offer paper towel and cleaning solution to wipe off your grocery carts.

1st cashier: while I am standing at the register, the cashier puts a sign out to use the next register and walks away2nd and 3rd register: the lane open light is on but no cashier4th register; not friendly and left my groceries halfway down the tread where I can hardly reach them. Poor service

They have only two cashiers open and each had more than 20 people in line to check out. No express lane and no self check out. The worst experience in a grocery store. They should try copying Walmart or Sams .

I just had to wait 5 minutes to pay for some lemons. I was the only one standing in line; two lanes were open, but the cashiers where to busy gossiping. One of them was pretending to be on the stores phone. More people started to arrive at checkout and they were forced to attend us.

Lines are horrible, long wait times last time I was ther I timed it it took me 15 mins to check out only 2 registers open and they closed the self check out claiming low use❗ Really ⁉️ this is a joke I think its more of one less person to pay❗❗

No frills, warehouse style. Good prices. Kroger products. Good meat department. Resonable pricing. Most stores frozen veggie section getting smaller this store has a large selection but it goes quickly.

I love their deals, the people are usually kept to themselves unless you ask them then they will help you.

Unorganized and staff very rude. Plus with this epidemic nothing sanitized but they supply it when you grab a cart . So everyone touches the bottle and you have to bring your own gloves and mask when entering this establishment!

Everything from fruits to the meat is always fresh and the customer service is great however some items are overpriced so shop carefully!!!!

Worst experience ever. Got to the cashier and had a gift card that says FOOD FOR LESS and CARLA who is rude beyond belief gave us the worst service ever. Wouldn’t help with the gift card and inclusively even said “ I don’t know what u want me to tell you.” TINA the MANAGER should not be a manager due that she can’t issue a gift card non the less scan one or take care of customer adequately. It wasn’t about not being able to use our gift card but the CUSTOMER SERVICE they both lack and intelligence, integrity or anything good for that matter. Worst ever and I’ll be sure your bosses are aware.

I don’t like the service at the deli. The employees attitudes are terrible. Who in the right mind tells there customers to wait. Drop what your doing and take care of the customers.The store is always short handed. The managersAre very unprofessional, they don’t listen to the customers they cut them off when there speaking.If the employees are not people person then they should not work there. That is why people are getting replaced my machines. This location needs a whole new staff.So frustratingWow the deli closed 1 hour early and the the manager in charge had no clue what was going on. In order for a store to run smoothly it needs a good leader, and it’s obvious that the person in charge is not a leader.

Worst place, you have to look at the expiration date on every item you buy. Always something on the shelves expired. You always see alot of employees there, maybe someone should teach them how to remove expired stuff. I always have to take something back because it has mold on it. I would give it no stars but it doesnt let me.

I really enjoy going to this Food 4 Less I have been to this Food 4 Less several times and Ive always had a good experience. Also you can buy a lot of things for less than what Target or Jewel Osco offers and its for name brand items unlike Aldis.Also they accept manufacturer coupons and they have a store Rewards program if you spend a certain amount of $.You can redeem your points and get money off of your gasoline how can you beat that?!

Its convenient to run for groceries or a quick shopping trip. Their only flaw is that they always have about 3 registers open besides the self check out. I was there last night and the lines were long and it was close to 10pm. They should hire more people, this Food4less is always busy.

I made the mistake of buying some spoiled chicken legs by Purdue. I called the store to inform the manager and he was more concerned with me wanting a refund than the bad product they were selling. You can keep the $8 dollars. I got off cheap Ill never shop here again.

Food4less is a decent store Ill admit but in terms of working there thats where things are bad, They have Bad management More specifically the Hiring manager. She doesnt care for her workers and will find the stupidest excuse to fire you which in mymy case is bouncing a ball... And the people working there is cool but like a couple of them will talk about you and try to get you fired which is ridiculous, But theres a warning I must give you, make sure you have allot of endurance because your gonna need it when you push carts by yourself cause they dont care about your safety 💯 But aside from that the place is decent so you can shop there but be careful if youre thinking of working there

We all know the new sale starts on Wednesdays. I was there yesterday about to purchase some chicken legs for .77 per lb they all expired today and wasnt tagged to be reduced. And then had the miracle whip on sale for $1.99 and it expired today to. People check your dates before you purchase

Very unprofessional discriminate towards immigrants. I was shopping with my husband who happens to be an immigrant he doesn’t have a state I.D. wish we are working on getting. I’m a United States citizen. I’m a college graduate. I pay my taxes and for this store to treat me and my family like we don’t have the right to buy what we want and what we work for this is so unprofessional. It was probably just that employee or the store in general I don’t know who to blame anymore because you should hire people that treat your customer’s right. So this is the what happened, I was in line to pay our merchandise I had some liquor so I know we have to show I.D in order to buy liquor so I did, but then she looks at my husband and says you both have to show me and ID. I was like why if I’m the one who is purchasing the items. She said if you guys are here together I have to ask for both of your IDs. I was like ok so my husband show her his ID but it’s from another country so the only thing she has to see is the age limit and if the ID is up to date, but no she said we don’t accept that type of ID so you can’t by any liquor I was like we are both old enough my husband is 30 and I’m 28yrs old, our children were with us. So I felt so hopeless and I will never go back to that store again. She said it was the new STATE LAW… which I haven’t heard of. I will take this to the news and the newspaper if this isn’t taking care of.

Custimer service is very bad here and sales associates can ever give an accurate price when asked about an item. They go on and invent a price because they are too lazy to look in to it. Example 6pk of 16oz bottles of coca-cola was under an end cap that said $199 and a foot away there was another price that said 2 for $5, once in the register they rung up 3 for $10 so the cashier sent a guy to go verify the price, he come back and says the price is $499 what the hell!!! So I looked at the cashier and all she said was do u still want em? And I said to her what is the price though? She stood there staring at me and I simply said forget it and she tossed the cokes to the side.

It was great I found what I was looking for. And the best part is I didnt have to bring my own bags because I went to the food4less on 25th in Melrose park where bags are free the way it suppose to be.

There might be 4 employees who look happy working there the mgr is nice but other than that the employees look like they were found at cook county prison. There is an old lady that works the cashier area who is absolutely terrible she mouths off to customers after they leave her grocery bagging area and it should hold a higher standard for its employeesThe obese black women who works as an outdoor cashier for the gas station tried scamming me out of my money theretoo here is what she did i prepaid 18$ she only put 15$ on the prepaid because she thought i wasnt listening because i was talking on the phone while placing the payment however when i came back after the pump stopped at 15$ and asked her where my 3$ was she gave me e$ without having to open the register.Another interesting fact is that the employee there blocks the front entrance illegally with 6 shopping carts everynight so that any customers coming in after9pm have to walk in through the exit doors because the entrance doors are locked and have carts in front of them yet i belive there open until 12
