I’ve been with this storage facility for quite sometime and I have to say Danielle the property manager is by far the best. The property looks very well managed. It was very clean and well kept when I was there. I also like the modern look of the place. I spoke with Ivan about a unit. I wasnt ready to purchase yet but I got all my questions answered. He was very friendly and happy to help. I will definitely be back soon.

This place is top notch! The client associate, Vinny, who assisted me is exceptional. Incredibly helpful, informative, kind, and went out of his way to help me. I rent a unit in VA and that facility cannot compare to this one. The Melville facility is exceptionally clean and overall very well kept up- you definitely feel like your items are in good hands here. Really appreciate how professional and hard working Vinny is! Great help. Vincent was very nice and even showed us two different units. We currently are trying to move to Florida since we sold our house.we have a place it’s just not move in ready but we Lived in Melville for almost 30 years. Would recommend this place anytime.

This is my first time storing my personal belongings, with that being said I was a mess. Danielle the manager was so kind, caring, assertive, a life saver. She found me a box that fit all my needs, she gave a very detailed tour of Public Storage, which is not what I expected. It was very very clean and very bright. You can definitely tell they keep up on maintenance. All in all if I could rate this experience a 10 star I would. I help my buddy with some side jobs and the unit we need to access supplies is right near a door. Danielle and Ivan are great and always provide us with carts for heavy equipment.

I went in to find a specific box size and unfortunately they didnt have it, but the guy that helped me, Ivan, was very helpful in giving me information on the box sizes they have and tried to accommodate my needs to find the closest size they had to what I needed. I loved the service I received.

This location is up the road from my house. The facility is always clean. Both Danielle and Ivan are always a pleasure and eager to answer any of my questions. They are knowledgeable about packing items and how to move/store them.

The building was not what I thought it was going to be - it is climate controlled ( in certain areas) it’s very bright, clean, and overall well maintained. Overall I give Danielle 5 Star service. My friend moved in a little while ago and was surprised with how helpful the staff was! Customer service mindset doesnt exist here... The carts you need to move stuff are locked. The elevator is broken, and they didnt bother to notify anyone. I went to my second-floor unit only to discover the elevator is broken and theres no way to get my heavy items downstairs. When I asked when itd be fixed, I was told itd be another 30-45 days (and who knows how long its been broken). So... Im left paying for two months of storage where I cant access my belongings. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!Update a month later - still no elevator, and no willingness to discount rate or otherwise adjust for the inconvenience.

No loading dock, we had to park the truck 30ft away and carry our things during a storm. No cover, no chance to come close to the doors.

Area where the storage unit I rent hasnt had elevator working for two days and no one knows when it is going to be fixed. I cant move any heavy item down or up the staircase until elevator is fixed.

Came in today to see a unit for my mother and ivan was very helpful and he even explained to us how we can even get a unit without having to come to the property to do the paperwork he was very informative and very helpful would definitely recommend this location!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great service clean easy location to use.I completely recant my earlier review. Customer service is lack there off either in person or via there national call center. If possible steer clear away from using them. I learned this in the process of using them. I always pay my bill on time on Auto Payment. As I still have stuff in one of there locations. There elevator is out of service and I am unable to remove my items, belongings. I briefly mentioned that I would like to vacate the property before October. Without even confirming that with me the property manager took it upon themselves to create a vacate date. Really awesome given the fact that I just had a cervical spine fusion and Discectomy surgery just this past March which I am still recovering in pain from basically a broken neck with fractures. But what does that matter I have to figure out a way to get my things out with no elevator while still being billed for a facility at a rate of $289 a month that I can not necessarily use due to access. Awesome!

My girlfriend just rented a unit from here and she had nothing but wonderful things to say about ivan and danielle who were very helpful and made her feel comfortable with the entire process. She also mentioned that the building was very clean and nice. Thank you again for the excellent service.

I was treated rudely and disrespectfully by an employee of this location. I was a customer of this location for approximately 10 years. Five months ago, I moved my stored items to the Public Storage location in Syosset. On Friday 8/23/19, I went back to the Melville location as I was considering moving my stored items back to Melville as it is more conveniently located for me. While at the location I needed to use the bathroom. I was told by Danielle that I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO USE THE BATHROOM. I told her that I was a very long term customer of Public Storage and had an active unit at the Public Storage Syosset location. DANIELLE ABSOLUTELY REFUSED TO ALLOW ME TO USE THE BATHROOM. I have spent several thousand dollars with this company at this location and I was treated this way. Danielle is well aware of who I am and my long term customer status. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND LOOKING FOR OTHER STORAGE LOCATIONS TO AVOID BEING HUMILIATED AND TREATED THE WAY I WAS. I was the CEO of a consumer products company for many years, and If any of my employees ever treated a customer (or prospective customer) this way, they would have been terminated immediately. In my opinion, the staff at this location are arrogant and apparently have no value for customer relationships or goodwill.

Met with two representatives of the Melville location- Danielle and Yemi - they were are amazing! They were both very attentive to my requests and highly professional. I had some difficulty setting up the online auto payments and they were patient and helpful in getting it done.The location is also super clean and well maintained. Couldn’t be happier with the staff, the location and the security of the facility.
