They have a lot of awesome stuff. The people here are polite.If youre paying with card, expect a wait because the machine takes a while to process it.

This place has really gone down hill. They still have a lot of great product, but the store is so disorganized and dirty.

Well, they over charged me for some items. Sad, but this isnt the first time it has happened. Watch carefully when they are typing in whatever prices suits them. Went to this place growing up but I dont think I will continue.

I would describe this store as an All-Asian experience. They have products from just about every country in Asia. Love going there to stock up on dried noodles, teas, sushi rice, and a couple of my favorites dagashi and Asian bread, fresh made red bean paste buns. You can also find fresh, frozen or canned groceries, fish and seafood. A good source for most Asian cooking.Pay cash or credit/ATM. Know what youre looking for or ask the attendant for some help, either way youre sure to find what youre looking for.

We always go to this Asian market to buy our good. They sell most of the things that we use to shop for back home in Hawaii. Plus they also have a restaurant in Bartlett as well. Fantastic food all around!

The place SMELLS! ITS not just Asian grocery smells..... its bad. I JUST buy regular stuff. The old guy behind the register is over worked and clueless. Clean it up! How do they pass health inspection? Crabs on the floor...veggies in old water.

Small and not good customer service

Dont expect English, but go in, get what you want (they got like everything you could want here for real Chinese food) and pay. Pretty simple. Be warned though, they have food hidden around the corner right of the counter and a whole restaurant supply area if you need anything Asian for a party or to fill in culinary gaps in your kitchen. Prices are incredible, by the way.

If you go to this market you better know what you want before getting there because they do not offer to help you in any way. Not a friendly or clean place at all. We were very disappointed.

It’s a bit disorganized and maybe even a little, ahem, fragrant, but they have a wide variety of authentic Chinese ingredients, spices, etc.. As an added bonus, they have a great variety of Thai products as well. We really enjoyed poking around and definitely loved the fact that they had our much wanted Sichuan ma la powder （麻辣粉）！

Old-school, no-frills Asian market. Was in Jackson visiting a friend and needed some items normally only found in an Asian store. Made the drive to Memphis and found everything I needed. The place could definitely use a remodeling.

When preparing authentic Asian food there is no other food store Ive found to shop. A vast selection to chose from.

Average Asian market

I love Asian markets. Only reason they did not get 5☆s is because they do not stock thai chili paste.

I liked it but I couldnt pay with my card if its under $10 had to leave and go get cash.

One, the place is a real dump. Produce all looks like its been on the shelf for a week too long. I repeatedly asked people if they had kafir lime leaves, and they just stared at me like I was from Mars. Place was very unclean. No one appeared to speak English. And overall stock of produce was extremely bad. I guess I was spoiled in Northern Virginia where the best produce was in Asian markets. Not here. I couldn’t find bean sprouts, nor can I find aforementioned Kafir lime leaves, nor could I find Bok Chou! Almost all their stuff seem to have no price information on it. Does not appear to be a very reputable place. Hello Memphis

Too small and crowded

From fresh pork belly and roasted peeking duck to home wear this grocery store is wonderful, the staff is kind and great at answering questions to help. Love this store would recommend shopping here to anyone

We love the coconut buns, they also freeze reasonably well. The egg yolk tarts are okay, the pork buns are better, though I wish they would cooperate with a local bbq joint to include better pork. Of course that would be a different store and price structure entirely.

Chinese grocery with fresh made Chinese style bread, Vietnamese baguettes, desserts and Chinese BBQ. Owner is very nice and most importantly honest.

Fair selection of Chinese cooking essentials, but seems to based on what was popular in China 10-15 years ago and could be updated to reflect modern Chinese food selections.I also wish the produce section had better quality and variety.

Yes the cashiers dont greet you, yes the store smells a bit, yes the store desperately needs a remodel. However that being said, its as reminiscent of the traditional/culturally accurate Chinese/Oriental grocery stores, and as a person from California, this store is probably what youre looking for in Thai/Vietnamese/Philippine/Chinese groceries.

You can find a lot of oriental stuff here but the building might need some remodeling. Also needs to update the cash register system so the customers will get a better and unstandable receipt.

I went there twenty minutes ago to buy tea, & the older man made me wait at the counter while he talked with a young man stocking (clearly saw me). He eventually came over(never spoke a word to me). He rang up my tea, took my card, watched TV while I waited, handed me a receipt to sign & my card, placed a bag on the counter to bag my own merchandise, & started talking to the next customer. Never said Thank u! RUDE as can be! Ill be finding another place to buy tea!

This is THE place in Memphis to find Chinese herbs, medicines and fresh goods not available anywhere else! They have 3 times the inventory of anybody else and the staff is very helpful.

They have a nice variety of Oriental ingredients that enables one to cook anything Oriental and prices are competitive.

They have a variety and are cheap but at what cost to the customer service. Me and my boyfriend and his parents waited for 15 mins when we asked for help she brushed us off and helped someone else who gave her cash to ignore us. We asked anotjer staff and they didnt know where anything was. Great if you know what you need, dont expect help unless you tip them

Me and my family always come here because the prices are cheap and convenient location. The owner understands very little ENGLISH. Does not greet or thanks customers. The only options i have are either Viet Hoa in midtown or Farmers Market in Cordova, but they seem further away. The bakery goods dont taste fresh and there are no covers to protect against flies or gnats. If there was another oriental store nearby that was CLEAN and could speak ENGLISH, then i would no longer patronize here. SMDH
