The grocery store is small and mediocre. You definitely get some ‘desi’ stuffs like daal, spices etc, however not very big like you see in Atlanta. They have a restaurant running with it. The restaurant is a typical South Indian ( telegu) type, where the chicken biriyani is the best. It’s very very big in portion size, compared to the price. Also it’s spicy and tastes really good. The dosa is pretty mediocre! The tea, or other few things are also nice. But again, the biriyani is the best. Also they sell some laddu, which is very good
Im Daphney Martin from Cleveland MS.Usually drive two hours to Memphis to purchase indian groceries. I was totally disappointed that most of the products especially snacks were all expired with stale smell had no expiry date on the packet and the guy said they were fresh. I request that your dont sell expiry things because it can cause serious illness to children and older people. Your products were not tagged and was priced high compared to the other stores in memphis. Not stepping in any more.
Not happy with the maintenance especially during pandemic. Toilets are shabby, unclean, cart is not sanitised etc.
Food is good but PAY ATTENTION TO THE PRICE AND WHAT THEY ENTER IN THE CASH REGISTER BECAUSE THEY WILL TRY TO OVER CHARGEThe restaurant never answers their phone and the service is horrible. Id give 0 stars if it was possible. These people are cheap and just love MONEY
Prices that wont break you. I can see why they have so many great reviews.
Not best but Better dhum biriyani compared to all other Indian restaurants in surroundings.
Biriyani place where you can find traditional Indian biriyani. A little expensive but tastes good. Place is somewhat clean. Service is good.
Popular S Indian biriyani joint.
It is a small place, with tasty biriyani. My favourite one is the mutton, then chicken. This place is next to an Indian grocery shop.
Everything is overcharged. Owner seems to be non-human. Not keeping fresh stuff. Owner is not behaving good with their employee I guess and therefore every-time we go there is new staff. Please avoid to go there. Please compare price with any other India grocery. I am pretty sure there will be overcharge in this place.
Best Chicken Dum Biryani Ive had in the 3 years Ive been in the USA and various cities including New Jersey! Dont expect any good ambience or customer service. For folks passionate about Indian food, this will be a top place.
The store doesnt care to have a price label on any of the items. Some of the grocery items were beyond the expiry date. I had to carefully see all the items before buying them.
I love chicken tikka masala, but I did not enjoy my meal. It was not the same color or taste I have experienced from various other restaurants. Also, the chicken was prepared in a manner that the flavor did not flow with the meal. Additionally, there was an ingredient that was hard that I had to spit out as I ate.
Best place for grocery with price match...what else do we what to if we can get at one place....with the same price...
If you wanna have the best Biryani in Town try at this place. You can call and place your order before you be there and get it ready for the pick up, worst thing is the owner seems to be so Greedy for money he recently increased the price too.
Food was tasty loved the mutton biriyani. But I wish they maintain the place more clean.
The only authentic Hyderabadi biryani in the entire Memphis area.
Must try the chicken biriyani its the best and big portion
Best goat biriyani in Memphis. Should try it on weekends when its fresh.
Biryani taste has been good but recently one of my friend found an hair in the large tray of biryani they had ordered for their guests.
I showed up at 11 when it said online that they open at 10, i called ahead of time and placed my order. When i got there at 11 they said they just opened and the food would take 30 more minutes. Except they didnt say it to me, the man yelled it at me. Very hostile. Very rude. Literally got yelled by the the guy. It was a borderline scary experience since that guy and i were the only people at the restaurent.
It’s either the best or the worst. Today was the worst! There’s every reason to believe that what we had today was not cooked today.Ridiculous.
Not Impressed. I love Indian food. But was not impressed with what I got here. I got a couple of dishes to take out. One a Korma, another a vidaloo. Which if you know Indian, they are completely different taste. Yet they looked the same and tasted the same. They were marked differently on the tops. I was not impressed with the taste either. I also got garlic naan, which was burnt, not just patchy burnt like naan often is-I mean completely black on one side and tasted completely of charcoal. I am not likely to go back.
HiFood quality is good, I have order for Egg biryani quantity is more than sufficient but I found chicken pieces in the same. So for me it was west.
This place use to be really good. Now all weekdays they sell only chicken biryani and idlis. They are expensive than other places and lack flavor as it use to be earlier.
I wonder why and how non-humans can be at restaurant kinda places. Loud mouth owner literally makes you feel regret. Rude way of handling customers is annoying and I wonder how people walk in these places of indecency.
Biryani is superb here ..... Authentic Dum biryani with superb taste and huge quantity ..... one of the best
Love they goat BRYIANNE
The food wasnt delicious however the groceries is what Im worried about. The pav (buns) that I bought from the store a week ago grew moss on it. A literal patch of moss on it. The expiry date was the 29th and found the moss on 25th. Horrible. Never gonna visit again...
Biryani! We get the Hyderabad for take out, nice size, great meat to rice ratio, and the flavor complexity, I am salivating at the thought of it, somewhere little bells are ringing too. What is biryani? Spiced rice with chicken, goat, paneer (fresh cheese), and/or vegetables. Goat is available only on Fridays/weekends though.Very well balanced spice and heat level, it is there, but not too much to numb you. If you eat medium at BBQ joints, you will be fine. If not, use the raita (yoghurt sauce) to soothe your tongue.Note: You dont come here for the ambiance, you come here because it is the best biryani in 500 miles range.
Worst food I have eaten in my life it should not qualify for a Indian restaurant
Need to maintain hot and fresh food. Sometimes they serve last nights one. Price is high
The best biryani in memphis. Its crazy how good the biryani is here. Portions are huge as well.
Quality and amount of Biryani are good. Customer service is better than before.
This place is known in Memphis as the place to eat the best Goat Biryani in town!!! It simply does!!!
Good Indian residents and groceries stores in Memphis.
This place is good for carryouts. And biryani is also good.
This place is rather bizzare. They have probably the best biryani. Any thing else u r wasting your money. This place could have had better future but the infian store attached and the resturant is managed by folks who dont know anything abt running a business.
Waiting time during peak hours. Average service. Tasty food.
Very good biryani, will make to order, Goat on the weekends.
Perfect idlis. Good service.
Biryani is the only thing that can pulls me to this restaurent. Prices somehow keep varying. Idli sambar on menu is 4.99, owner tells you 6 and when billed its 9. You have to keep your eyes open during billing. High pricesEdit : these days even biryani doesn’t taste better either. Sometimes it’s too dry and sometimes it’s for sure made a week back. Today it is burnt. So I removed a star.
Less options in Vegetables. Grocery Items are Good. SaiGruha Briyani is popular in Memphis loved it.
I moved out of Memphis and I still miss the biriyani served at Saigruha. The store is just a bonus, a place you can shop while the foods getting packed.
Worst customer service ever I have seen in any restaurants in United States. The old (40-50) guy who act as a owner who is actually not, has very unmatured nature. He always asks the customer about the taste and by chance if we give any negative feed back he will ask to leave the restuarant and yells not to come back again to the restaurant and may go to any other restaurants. I suggest the management that if you really want to continue with the restuarant running well, take that guy out or atleast keep that guy upto kitchen and cooking stuff but dont make him to face the customers. I am rating 1 because that would be the least I can give. Hope management reads this and takes some action and if by any chance I go to that restaurant I dont see that face.
Best Biryani you can have in Memphis whether its chicken or goat. Nothing much to say about appetizers but still best one when you considering eating Biryani.
Poor and rude customer service ... Low quality and taste less food... Never ever go to this place ..😡Dissatisfaction gauranteed 🙄😏
This place has great biryani
They serve the best biryani in this area - may be even in the US - i tasted in California, Boston, NJ, NY and MD and this is definitely the best biryaniIts really comparable to Hyd BiryaniOther items are good too but not so great thats y 1 star less
Biryani is tasty and they serve enormous qty.I made the mistake of ordering kofta and naan. Kofta was cold and stale. The naan what they sell is heat and eat from frozen section. If one wants biryani onky this is the place. Be on the lookout for over prices when being billed.
Typical byriani point, prefer to go, rather than nag about service.
The best Briyani I ever tasted... Yummy...
We make it a point to eat Indian food wherever we travel. THIS FOOD IS PHENOMENAL!!!
Biriyani is very good.. but rest are not that good.
They have lot of products which are expired. Make sure to check the expiry date before purchasing. They also have products which are expired 1 year ago which are placed on the front table (discount area).
Great place for ToGo food... Call in pick it up...
I went there yesterday (Thursday) for first time. All vegetables looks fresh and aloo paratha too.But prices seems to be higher.
Want to have perfect mutton/goat biryani... Enjoy here!!!
